COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: SPECIAL MINI RELEASE

By admin
on October 07, 2014

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to the one and only sneak peek day for our special October mini release!

As you know, we release every other month and this month is one of our non-release months; however, we have a few products that we just couldn’t wait to share with you!  You will be seeing a sneak of all of the products today and they will release tonight at midnight EST.  Tomorrow is another day filled with tons of fabulous inspiration from the Confetti Crew.

ReadyForConfetti

Just a note…all of our releases will  happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month…*usually*.  We will release new product every other month.  We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not.  Just remember, “Eight is Great!”

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post and hop post for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion (starting at 9am EST today).  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

MiniReleaseGraphic

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on October 8th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

You know the drill…grab that cuppa joe, sit back and enjoy some fabulous inspiration here and from the rest of the Confetti Crew!

I am so excited to share these new products with you!  These are items that are unique to Reverse Confetti and can be used year round.  I am especially excited about them and their potential for AWESOME holiday creations!

Without further adieu, let me introduce you to the 2 new stamp sets and 2 new Confetti Cuts that will be available tonight at midnight EST.

HANGING OUT

What in the world is this, you ask?  This sweet lil’ die creates a door hanger.

HangingOutProductGraphic

I’m not nearly done with all my Halloween projects, but I am switching it over to Fa La La La La Holiday mode today with this door hanger…

MeryXmas

The new HANGING OUT Confetti Cuts die cuts out the top notch that goes over the door knob.

Note, this is created with a 4.25″ width of cardstock, which I find to be the optimal width to have the circle centered.

MerryXmasCard_detail1

The wreath on this card is created with the leafy swag from the PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts die set (cut from felt).  I added sequins and rhinestones for the berries and topped it off with a double tied twine.  The sentiment is from our festive sentiment building set, BRING ON THE MERRY.  I’ll be using this door hanger instead of a card for one of my friends this holiday season.  On the heart (cut from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set), I’ll sign my name and leave it on her front door.

MerryXmasCard_detail2

I’ve created 2 more projects with the new HANGING OUT die that I will be sharing with you tomorrow…when I get back into the Halloween spirit.

. . . . .

The HANGING OUT Confetti Cuts die is just one of the four products that are part of our special October mini release.

The other Confetti Cuts die that we are releasing this month is the ENVIE WRAP…

EnvieWrapProductGraphic

The ENVIE WRAP is a die that will cut out a envelope wrap for you to customize with the two new coordinating stamp sets…

ROUNDABOUT

RoundaboutProductGraphic

and ROUNDABOUT ADDITIONS

RoundaboutAdditionsProductGraphic

A little about this ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts die, ROUNDABOUT and ROUNDABOUT ADDITIONS stamp sets…

1. Use the ENVIE WRAP to create unique and interesting envelope, packaging and more!

2. The circle portion of this die is the same size as the large non-scalloped circle in the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS die set. You can stamp the ROUNDABOUT or ROUNDABOUT ADDITIONS directly onto the ENVIE WRAP or stamp them on a circle cut from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts set and pop them up on the ENVIE WRAP (as done in the project below).

3. The gray lines on the product graphic indicate debossing lines.  We added these for extra detail and to coordinate, again, with the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set.

4. The smaller sentiment circles are made to fit on the reverse of the ENVIE WRAP, if you don’t use the return address lines or they also fit in the smaller, non-scalloped circle in the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set.

So, what does it look like on a project?…

CardSet1

These are all dressed up envelopes I created using the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts die, the ROUNDABOUT stamp set and the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set.  Each of the ENVIE WRAPs are cut from pattern paper, and then I stamped the “thank you” sentiment circle in a coordinating color on a circle cut from CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS and popped it up on the ENVIE WRAP. I then cut 4.25″x 5.5″ notecards and stamped them the same for a fun and coordinated gift set…

CardSetAqua

CardSetPink

CardSetOrange

Because this is a gift set, I did not attach the back portion of the ENVIE WRAP, as that would close the envelope.  Here is a pic of it wrapped around, but not attached…

BackOfEnvie

. . . . .

The above “thank you” ENVIE WRAPs are not intended to go through the mail, but you can make them so that they can go postal.  First, make sure that the ENVIE WRAP is secured to your envelope.  It is best to use glue instead of tape runner in this case.  Also, be sure that it is flat.  If it is not totally flat, you can always put it in a clear envelope.  As always, check with your local post office for any additional postage fees (although, I don’t think there should be any), etc.

Here’s one that just needs to be addressed (to and from) and sent…

EnvieWrapPostal

I created the bokeh effect on this ENVIE WRAP using the additional circles in the ROUNDABOUT stamp set and masking the circle portion of this die cut.

The return portion of the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts die cut…

EnvieWrapPostal2

Just imagine how darling your Christmas and holiday card will be with this ENVIE WRAP on the envelope!   I used aqua for my bokeh effect, but I think red and green or even just gold would be absolutely FABULOUS…of course, you could just use some festive pattern paper, too!

. . . . .

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing tonight at midnight EST!

Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!

Roundabout

Around and around we go! Have fun with these great versatile circle sentiments made to coordinate with the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts die and the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set (both large and small non-scallop circles). In addition, the dashed lines create the return address portion on the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts, die. Also included in this set are 4 circles so that you can create your own bokeh effect project, or just use them as the polka dots (my favorite!).

 Set of 9 stamps

SIZE REFERENCE:

Large Circle 2.05”

Reverse Confetti stamps are high quality photopolymer mounted on an acetate sheet.

4”x6” stamp set

Roundabout Additions

Around and around we go…some more! Have fun with these everyday (including holidays!) circle sentiments made to coordinate with the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts die and the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set (both large and small non-scallop circles). In addition, the lines create the return address portion on the ENVIE WRAP Confetti Cuts, die.

Set of 6 stamps

SIZE REFERENCE:

Large Circle 2.05”

4”x6” stamp set

CONFETTI CUTS: Envie Wrap

We all know how to make a cute card, but now you can make a cute (and coordinating) envelope with the ENVIE WRAP. Simply cut from cardstock or pattern paper and add your sentiment/address label from the ROUNDABOUT and ROUNDABOUT ADDITIONS stamp sets to create one of a kind, jaw dropping envelopes. Just imagine your Christmas or birthday cards arriving and standing out against all the others! This die includes detailed debossing, a perforated line to easily crease over your envelopes and the center circle is the same size as the large non-scallop circle in the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set

SIZE REFERENCE:

Envie Wrap 5.76” x 2.4”

CONFETTI CUTS: Hanging Out

The Hanging Out die creates a cut out to create a door hanger. Imagine leaving a festive door hanger on your neighbor’s door or creating one for yourself. You know that the kids will love them for themselves, their friends and teachers! Create fun one-of-a-kind door hangers easily using the Hanging Out Confetti Cuts die.

While you can use this on any size cardstock, note that best results for centering the cut out hole are done using a 4.25” width sheet of cardstock.

SIZE REFERENCE:

Hanging Out 3.1” x 2”

WEEK IN REVERSE

By admin
on February 28, 2014

Howdy and TGIF, ‘Fetti Fans!

For those following our relocation…more of the same happening over here in the del Muro household…hurry up and wait.  Everyone needs a decision about this or that here and now, but on the flipside we are just sitting and waiting and trying to get ready to go.  I still have ants in my pants about not being able to pack up anything so I’m just sorting a few things and getting ready of the release…NEXT SATURDAY!  Getting inky has been able to take my mind off of the move a little…thank goodness!  More updates to come as the move date approaches (mid-March).  Until then, the focus is here…

FBCommentGraphic

. . . . .

Before we get to the WEEK IN REVERSE portion of this post, we need to get a drumroll going for this month’s COLOR CHALLENGE WINNER…

winner_color

Here’s Cathy’s card using the February colors: cranberry, light blue and gray along with the HAPPY HARBOR stamp set and TAG ME Confetti Cuts…

Cathy, please email info@reverseconfetti.com for your prize.

Thank you to everyone that played along.  The submissions were absolutely INCREDIBLE…as always.  It makes my heart swell to see all your Reverse Confetti creations!

It’s Friday and time for WEEK IN REVERSE, where we take a look back at what the most awesome design team, The Confetti Crew, has been up to this week.

Susan broke out her Copics and played with FREIDA FOX this week!  Isn’t she darling?  And, if you are wondering…we will soon be introducing you to a friend of hers!

I like card making, but I LOVE seeing Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts dies being used in a variety of paper crafting project, like Leigh’s beautiful scrapbook page featuring SWEET THING and TAG ME Confetti Cuts.  You can also see Leigh on this week’s Confetti Camera post (Thursday, 2/27).

Another great ABC (anything but a card) project from Amber using SWEET TREAT TENT Confetti Cuts, TAG ME Confetti Cuts, SWEET THING and WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS.

Sarah says she’s on a tag making kick…I think I’ve been on one of those for the last few years! It’s easy with the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set (and ARROW Confetti Cuts, too)!  Here she paired it with CRUSHIN’ and WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS for a very sweet giftie…

Pink+Orange+INNER ROCK STAR= awesome cards from Stacey and Heather!

Heather created part of her background with WHOLE LOTTA DOTS, too.

http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3748/12688465995_b8b63605d4_b.jpg

As proven above, great minds think alike.  I love all the positive energy coming from the PAPER CRANE set!  Lisa, Susan and Amy all inked it up this week for wonderfully creative and original designs…

Susan’s card also uses WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS and the TAG ME Confetti Cuts.

Amy also added the TAG ME Confetti Cuts to her creation.

Amber also used PAPER CRANE this week.  Her creation features on of the other sentiments and a very cool layout!

Amy K.’s card is a cool collection of a variety of Reverse Confetti products including the Christmas(!!) set, BRING ON THE MERRY, INNER ROCK STAR and TAG ME Confetti Cuts.

2.27.14

Amy S.’ GO TOGETHER card with those darling die cuts to match the oh-so-perfect sentiment makes me smile!

Val shares more than moolah on her blog.  You can check out her Pocket Tag tutorial using  HERE.  Such a fun card (and tag!) and she always WOWS me with how she combines her RC products.  On this card she used CRUSHIN’, ARROWS ‘N ELEMENTS, SWEET THING and TAG ME Confetti Cuts.

See you tomorrow with a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY!

It has been a whirlwind of a week over here!  As I noted yesterday, change is upon our family…we are moving!  I’m going to take you on this journey with me.  I won’t have updates everyday, nor will I bore you with every minute detail,  but I’ll be keeping you in the loop and hope that you will share your experiences, too.  For those of you that are interested…we are moving to Houston, TX because of my hubby’s job.  Fortunately, I can do Reverse Confetti from just about anywhere, so nothing is changing (other than location) here.

So, as of today, we in contract to purchase a home in Houston.  I am a bit nervous as the inspection report came back with a few (big) red flags.  This was to be expected, as we are purchasing a home that is a little older.  Hopefully, we can come to an agreement on what needs to be done.  I’ll know more next week when we have area specialists review the inspection report and the home.  Wish us luck!

. . . . .

It’s Friday and time for WEEK IN REVERSE! The Confetti Crew has been busy this week creating cards and projects that are sure to inspire!

Val is so super clever!  I love this magnetic board to hold dies so they don’t get lost in the paper crafty craziness that I know happens on everyone’s desks!

PAPER CRANE, TAG ME Confetti Cuts

Like me, Susan, is in the process of moving.  This cute card is a sweet depiction of how her family is in between three homes right now…

Leigh’s colorful card using the same set is a wonderful mix of clean and simple and playful…

CONFETTI CAMERA

By admin
on December 18, 2013

Hey there, ‘Fetti Fans!

We’re glad that you are joining us for this week’s Confetti Camera!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.  For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers.  A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme).  To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

. . . . .

This week the Confetti Camera is zooming in on Confetti Crew member SAVANNAH O’GWYNN.

Savannah has put together an awesome video where she creates a fun Reverse Confetti project and talks about creating customized images and sentiments.

TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY

By admin
on December 10, 2013

Hello ‘Fetti Fans!

Have you hopped with us yet?  If  not, be sure to scroll down after you finish this post and check out all the fabulous Reverse Confetti projects that the Confetti Crew and ‘Fetti Friends have put together.  There’s also a chance to win!  Happy hopping and good luck!

Just a quick reminder that our SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open and awaiting your submissions…of course, there’s a chance to win there, too!  Click on the sketch on the sidebar to get all the details.

. . . . .

Before I get to the cards I have created for today’s TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY post, I want to share a picture from my front yard that I took over the weekend…

IMG_4838

This is a rose from my front garden that is covered in ice.  We have been iced in for the past several days and while I am grateful that I was able to capture the beauty of this rose, I promise the next time the weatherman says that our area will be “entombed in ice” (yes, he literally reported that), I hope to catching a flight to somewhere much warmer and beach-ier than North Texas!

On that note, we have been experiencing some delays with postal service.  Orders placed over the weekend may see a slight delay in ship times due to this storm.  We thank you for your patience.

. . . . .

It’s Tuesday and that means…TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY!

For today’s post, I made a trio of matching winter/Christmas cards.  These cards measure 4.25″ square, which is a perfect small square card size that will still fit into an A2 envelope.  They’re also the perfect size for popping in a gift card for some special teachers, friends, family or neighbors!  The front of the card is stamped with the “just a note to say” sentiment from the LOTS TO SAY set and also has 1/4″ cut off to show the pattern paper adhered to the inside.

SnowflakeTrio

Inside of cards with one of the sentiments that can be created using the BRING ON THE MERRY set…

SnowflakeTrioInside

Each of the cards is just slightly different on the front, but contains all the same elements: TAG ME Confetti Cuts die cut tied off with black and white baker’s twine, round white embossed panel matted with white circle, blue snowflake cut from Silhouette and sequins topped with rhinestones…
