Hello, ‘Fetti Fans!

Thank you all SO MUCH for the love and comments over the last few days!  We are so excited that the 5 new stamp sets, 7 new Confetti Cuts and the Spring Fling Quick Card Panels are now in the REVERSE CONFETTI STORE!

. . . . .

We’re Hoppin’!

To celebrate the new release, the Confetti Crew has put together a fabulous hop with a ton of “Confetti Creativity” using the new stamps, Confetti Cuts dies and Quick Card Panels (QCPs).

Note, there is a full list of hoppers at the bottom of this post in case there are any breaks along the way.

. . . . .

. . . . .

I have a few project to share with you today and then I’m sending you off on your way to see what the Confetti Crew and our ‘Fetti Friends have in store for you.

My first project today is one of my favorites from this release…

I started with a mason jar lid and then filled it with green crinkle paper (actually, it was white and a sprayed it green).  I then added the “Hello Spring” egg and a bunny cut from felt from MORE THAN JELLYBEANS and the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.  The small egg was created from the CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts die set and adorned with a flower from the new THE TWEET LIFE Confetti Cuts die set.

The DOUBLE BANNER GARLAND is “strung” between a kabob stick that I cut in half and hot glued to the mason jar lid.

This project came together rather quickly and easily (minus the spraying of the white crinkle paper *wink).  I think these would be darling as part of a place setting for a Spring or Easter brunch!

. . . . .

My next project today features the new SHINE BRIGHT set, SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set and SPRING FLING Quick Card Panels.

On this card I layered the sun from the SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set on top of the sun on the new SPRING FLING Quick Card Panels.  The words on the sentiment are colored in a gradient with Copic markers.  I can’t wait to slip this card in my daughter’s backpack for her to find.

. . . . .

My final card today features THE BUZZ stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts dies, along with the new DOUBLE EDGE WONKY SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts.

The main image panel is the rounded rectangle from the DOCUMENTED Confetti Cuts die set.

The bee is colored with Copics and then adhered with dimensional adhesive to the end of the dashed “trail.”

Detail shot of the bee (wings are double cut and layered for added dimension)…

. . . . .

There is so much more “Confetti Creativity” to see today!

Howdy there, ‘Fetti Fans!

Anyone else excited about this weekend?  You probably already know, but in case you didn’t…Saturday is WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!  We have a very special announcement to make on Saturday, so stay tuned you won’t want to miss it!

It’s Thursday and time for a great Confetti Camera where you will learn how to make an adorably scary tote!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

3) For this round we are focusing on ABC (anything but a card) projects.  Keep your eyes peeled for some fabulous ways to use your Reverse Confetti stamps!

. . . . .

Today on Confetti Camera we have the super fun and wildly talented, HEATHER PULVIRENTI

Hi ‘Fetti Fans! Heather P. here today to share a frightfully fun Frankenstein treat tote I created entirely from Confetti Cuts! I had such a blast putting together the pink monster for September’s Color Challenge, and wanted to see what else I could come up with.  With the great range of Reverse Confetti die shapes, the possibilities are endless!

To create the tote, I used the following Confetti Cuts to cut out my pieces:

Tagged Tote (tote base and eyes)

Treat Tote (Frank’s hair)

Office Edges (scars/stitches)

Fresh ‘n Fruity (larger eye)

Circles ‘n Scallops (smaller eye)

Carton Cuties (nose)

Let’s Chill (glitter neck bolts)

Doin’ the Wave (smile)

Once I had all the elements ready to go, assembly was a breeze! First, I started by adhering the sides and bottom of the Tagged Tote, then attaching the black card stock for Frankenstein’s hair.  Next, I adhered the smaller white card stock circle directly on the tote base, then added the larger white card stock circle with pop dots before adding in the nose piece.

I then adhered the two black scars (wrapping around the edges of the tote), and the red, squiggly mouth.  An exacto knife was used to cut a slit on each side of the tote to hold the glitter card stock neck bolts.  Glossy accents were then added to the gray card stock pupils, two black scars and red mouth.

 100214 CU

While the glossy accents were drying, I die cut a tag using the Give Thanks Confetti Cuts frame on a piece of turquoise polka dot patterned paper. I then stamped one of the sentiments from Spooky Sentiments in versamark ink before heat embossing it with white embossing powder.  I punched a hole in the top of the tag, then secured it to a cellophane treat bag with orange twine and a yellow clothespin.  To finish up, I placed the treat into the tote.

Well, that wraps it up for me today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!

Confetti Crush

Hello and Happy Tuesday, ‘Fetti Fans!

Reverse Confetti is happy to announce that we are sponsoring the new CURTAIN CALL challenge and it is so appropriately named…CONFETTI CRUSH!  Stacey, one of the amazing members of the Confetti Crew hosts this challenge and we are so thrilled to be a part of it for this inspiration piece.

You can find out all about the challenge details, including how to enter HERE on the Curtain Call blog.

Here’s the inspiration piece…

And how I was inspired (by the colors and circles) using the CARTON CUTIES stamps set and coordinating CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts from our last release…

In addition to the Carton Cuties stamps and dies, I also used the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER for added detail on the rectangular panel.  The sentiment is stamped on the banner from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set and attached to a skewer.  I kept thinking it needed just a little something, so I added the white linen thread tied in a double bow to give it that finishing touch.  Although it doesn’t give any color to the card, I love the texture and detail that it brings.

Howdy, Howdy ‘Fetti Fans!

TGIF!  I am ready for the weekend!  Are you?  (stupid question, huh?)

We have our first house guest in our new house and I am sure that we will be doing a little exploring in Houston this weekend.  Hopefully, I will have fun pics and such to share next week.  I may just duck into the studio to create a thing or two, as well. (crossing fingers)

Well, being that it is Friday, it is time for the WEEK IN REVERSE where we take a look back on what the Confetti Crew has been up to this week.  Many of them posted for the new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY.  You can see that post HERE, as well as all the info on how you can enter to win.

. . . . .

Amy is just too clever!  She used the coffee oval from BE A BARISTA to create this awesome pattern.  She paired it will a simple sentiment from our everyday sentiment set, LOTS TO SAY, to create a perfectly unique any time card…

Lisa created this fun card for a “put a bird on it” using CARTON CUTIES, CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts and TAG ME Confetti Cuts.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again…Heather never fail to WOW with our PEACOCK PRETTIES set!  I love the pattern that she created and the sweet sentiment from ALL ABOUT YOU compliments it perfectly.

Sarah is featured on this week’s episode of Iron Craft.  I love her card using BE A BARISTA and the ARROW Confetti Cuts!

. . . . .

Have a great weekend, and as always…

Week In Reverse

TGIF ‘Fetti Fans!

I hope everyone has fun weekend plans ahead.  It’s more of the same here for the del Muro household…these boxes just will not end!  Of course, a little exploring time and R&R are most definitely in the works, as well as some time to GET INKY!  I had a chance to create yesterday and it felt so good to play again!  I’ll be sharing what I made next week.

Right now it’s time to take a look back at what the Confetti Crew has done this week in the WEEK IN REVERSE.

Lisa did a great job of combining sets to create this fun, sports themed card.

Val had fun mixing and matching a variety of Confetti Cuts die sets to create this darling journal for a lil’ friend of hers.

Val also created this card that I am swooning over!

Leigh’s card is so soft and elegant.  I love the multi-colored feather.

With Teacher Appreciate just around the corner, Amber is the perfect muse with this card!

Sarah’s card is a showstopper!

Heather never ceases to amaze me with her use of PEACOCK PRETTIES (and embossing powder)!

Stacey’s card is fun and full of color!  I love the combo of stamps here!

Howdy ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Friday and time to take a look back at what the Confetti Crew has been up to this week.

Lisa’s take on the “Tab Tuck Card” (name courtesy of Confetti Crew member, Sarah) using the new CLASS ACT stamp set and CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts (along with arrows from ARROWS ‘N ELEMENTS)  is absolutely FABULOUS (and it uses March’s Color Challenge colors, too!)…

Lisa also made this darling cheerful Easter card using CARTON CUTIES stamp and CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts…

**For those waiting on Carton Cuties Confetti Cuts, we are awaiting our shipment.  They were sent overnight from the manufacturer… to the wrong address.  Ahhh!!   Thank you for your patience as they make their way to us!**

Sarah’s take on the color challenge with the PETALS ‘N POSIES and I LIKE YOU stamp sets along with the PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts die set is just gorgeous!

Amber did a whole lot of mixing and matching of Reverse Confetti products on this card!!  How many can you spot?  Here’s the breakdown on what was used… PETALS ‘N POSIES stamp set with the PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts; BEAUTIFUL BANNERS stamp set and BEAUTIFUL BANNERS Confetti Cuts; ALL ABOUT YOU stamp set; SO STRIPEY stamp set; LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts and finally, the tab from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set…

Seriously, every time I looked at this card I saw something new! Wow!

Stacey’s style is just so fun!  Love how she layered the colors from the March Color Challenge in the great card using GO TOGETHER from our Key Words Collection…

I’m loving this birthday card from Val using the WHOLE LOTTA DOTS and ALL ABOUT YOU stamp sets paired with the TAG ME and BEAUTIFUL BANNERS Confetti Cuts.

Wednesday in the Works

By admin
on March 12, 2014

Hello and Happy Wednesday!

For those of you following my relocation adventures…the packers come today!  We have 2 days of packing and then another day of loading and then we are on our way and moving in to our new home on Monday.  So, now the answer to the question that I have been getting a lot of lately…Is there downtime for Reverse Confetti?  I wish I could wave a magic wand and say no, but…Yes, there is.  Orders placed by Friday at midnight (EST) will be processed and shipped on Saturday.  While the store will still be open for shopping, shipping on new orders will not resume until Thursday, 3/20, while our family gets moved in and (slightly) settled in our new home.

This week’s WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS is brought to you by Confetti Crew member, Val Stangle.

Please note, this project feature the CARTON CUTIES stamps and Confetti Cuts.  The CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts will be back in stock next week.

Today’s Wednesday in the Works in an Easter themed home decor frame for our entry table.  CARTON CUTIES takes center stage with die cut bunnies and Easter grass nestled in the die cut egg carton.

Two cartons were die cut and the top trimmed off one; the bottom was popped up with dimensional foam to give the carton a bit of dimension and a place for the easter grass before adding the bunnies.

The SWEET TREAT TENT Confetti Cuts provided the mat for the egg carton.  Tip: The treat tent was die cut twice, once from patterned paper, once from cardstock; both were glued together and trimmed before assembling.

This made for a sturdy base for the focal image that will hold up over the years.  Versafine black ink was quickly embossed with clear ep and heat set to give it a crisp look and to prevent it from fading over time.

Reverse Confetti stamps and die cuts are fun to mix and match, in this project you’ll see I’ve combined several sets and dies to create a fun, coordinated piece that will be fun to set out every year!

I am so happy to share with you a couple of projects using many of the new release products.  My first project is a shaker card that I made for my sweet daughter using the new KEY WORDS COLLECTION set, ALL ABOUT YOU, along with the new PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts die set (and the previously released DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die)…

Detail shot…

. . . . .

My second project today is a card that features the new CARTON CUTIES stamps and Confetti Cuts.

Detail of the carton that I very lightly shaded with Copics…

I don’t like taking a whole lot of time on the inside of cards, but it’s always nice to dress them up a little with some die cuts and a simple sentiment (shown here stamped on the banner from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set-which is also used on the front of the card).

There’s so much more to see today along the hop!

As I have mentioned, I was “thinking spring” when I designed these sets and this new set (and coordinating Confetti Cuts) is about as spring as it can get…eggs and chicks and bunnies, oh my!  And, don’t forget the Peeps!

Introducing CARTON CUTIES (which may just be my favorite RC set to date!)…

And, the coordinating CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts die set…

My first project today is a tag that stars the darling chicks from the CARTON CUTIES set. I colored them with Copics and popped them into the cracked half egg (stamped and die cut).  The scallop edge on the top is cut from the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts and then cut again using the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set.

I knew exactly what I wanted to create with the “you’re good peeps” sentiment…a Peeps on a stick project!

Detail of the tag…

To create this sweet lil’ Peeps on a stick project I skewered 3 pink Peeps and then placed a (food safe) cello bag over them.  I tied the bag with pink gingham ribbon and added the small tag (cut from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set).  I embellished the tag with a banner die cut (cut from the *new* BEAUTIFUL BANNERS Confetti Cuts) stamped with the “you’re good peeps” sentiment and a bunny head head die cut (from the CARTON CUTIES Confetti Cuts die set).  Such a fun, cute and easy spring/Easter giftie!

. . . . .

Spring Break is just around the corner (it’s next week for us) and then we are in the home stretch of the school year, meaning it’s time to get that Teacher Appreciation and end of year giftie thinking cap on!  And, don’t forget those fun school days scrapbook pages, too!

Introducing, CLASS ACT

And, the coordinating CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set…

When I design stamp sets and dies, I am not always just looking forward.  I want all of our products to be as compatible with each other as possible.  With that in mind, the rounded rectangle in the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set was made to be able to fit inside the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts scalloped rectangle die cut, like shown on this card…

To create the focal panel, I first cut two rounded rectangles…one from the pink polka dot paper and one from white cardstock.  I then cut the apple from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set from the pink polka dot paper.  I layered the 2 sheets on top of each other and then centered the sentiment, stamped in navy dye ink.  Next, I popped up the pink polka dots panel and added the leaf (remember that as the flame from Wednesday’s project?) and the linen thread.  That panel was then added to the scalloped rectangle panel and adhered to the card base with two TAG ME Confetti Cuts large tags cut from navy cardstock.  I think that these would be great to duplicate in different colors and give to teachers as card sets.

My final project I am sharing with you today is a card featuring the CLASS ACT stamp and Confetti Cuts sets, as well as the *new* OFFICE EDGES Confetti Cuts set that I revealed on Wednesday.  I really had a lot of fun creating this card!  I started by stamping and die cutting two “sheets” of notebook paper and then added the alphabet to one. I embellished those panels with the stamped and die cut apple.  The quotation mark pattern paper was die cut with the perforation line and notebook edge from the OFFICE EDGES set.  My final touches were adding the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER strip on the left and the enamel dots (can’t seem to put those things away!).

The double lined tab stamp set was designed to hold each of the sentiments included in this set.  Here I embossed it, and the “You’re a Class Act” sentiment in white on black cardstock and then attached it by stapling…which just happened to coordinate with the entire theme of the card.

. . . . .

There is so much more inspiration to see using all these stamps and dies that are releasing on Saturday, March 8th!

Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!

Carton Cuties

Carton Cuties is the must have Spring and Easter set that’s like no other ever created!  Fill up this egg carton with a variety of eggs or the bunnies and chick that are included, too.  What’s even more fun?…a matching Confetti Cuts die set!

Designed by Angelica Suarez

 Set of 15 stamps

Carton 2.4” x 1.9”

Chick 1” x .9”

Class Act

Class Act will be the set you reach for time and time again when in need of a fun card or project for that favorite teacher or class.  All three sentiments fit within the large outlined tab image, as well as on the notebook paper. Create lots of fresh and fun projects with the polka dot apple that will send you to the head of the class!  For an A+, be sure to pair this set with its matching Confetti Cuts die set!  It also pairs well with the Office Edges Confetti Cuts die set, too!

Set of 11 stamps

Notebook Paper 2.0” x 2.54”

 Apple 1.36” x 1.27”

CONFETTI CUTS: Carton Cuties

It doesn’t get much cuter than the Carton Cuties stamp set and the matching Confetti Cuts die set makes it super easy to cut out those images and create the perfect project!

Set of 6 wafer thin dies

Carton 2.5” x 2”

Peep Head .75” x 1.18”

Go straight to the head of the class with projects made from the Class Act Confetti Cuts die set and coordinating Class Act stamp set (sold separately).  This set contains four dies…a rounded rectangle, tab, apple and leaf.  This rounded rectangle also fits perfectly within the scalloped rectangle of the previously released Love Note Confetti Cuts die set…just one way we like to make our products easy to mix and match.

Set of 4 wafer thin dies

NOTE: Many of our die sets are connected by thin wire and may need to be released from each other.  To do so, tin snips are best, but these can often easily be taken apart by a gentle hand.  Rough edges where the dies were attached may be sanded lightly (careful not to sand the cutting edge).
