Next up is a project I created using the new sets HERE’S THE STORY, RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, as well as the new DOCUMENTED Confetti Cuts die set (and, previously released, LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set)…

This is frame that I picked up from a bin at Michaels.  It’s been sitting in my “do something with this” stash (everyone has one of these, right?).  I took out the glass so that I could make my project more dimensional.  I was able to make it a shadowbox(ish) by putting in the mat (covered with a piece of patterned paper cut to match) and then pressing down the tabs on the back to secure it.  I then added the back of the frame on top of the tabs that were pressed down and secured to frame with tape.  I was fortunate that the back of the frame sat on top on the tabs and was flush with the frame base.

This final project features the new SUGARY SWEET SENTIMENTS stamp set and SQUARE TAG in a way that is perfect for a guy’s Valentine or for anytime you want to give someone a sweet pat on the back…

I “popped” Pop Rocks into a chevron glassine bag and paired it with an embellished SQUARE TAG Confetti Cuts die (flag-ended piece from TAG ME Confetti Cuts and stars from OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts) and attached it with a mini clothespin.  Detail shot…

It’s DAY TWO of our sneak peeks, a.k.a. THE COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!  We are beyond excited that in just a couple of days 6 new stamp sets, 8 new Confetti Cuts die sets and the brand spankin’ new (limited edition) QUICK CARD PANELS will be available.

I had so fun with these stamps and dies while creating this set of 6 panels, which can be used either in pocket scrapping or as panels on a card…

Recognize that ampersand from my project yesterday?  I have a feeling that I’ll be reaching for that die and the flag (stitched down the side) quite a bit, as they’re such a fun lil’ elements!

I added a border cut with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die on this one for added detail.

I can see this one getting popped on a card front!  The word “love” is cut from the new PRETTY PANELS: HEART LOVE Confetti Cuts die (see below for product graphic).

The “on this date” circle can easily be punched with a 1″ circle punch.  I used it in a scrappy “collage” here with hearts from LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts and the smaller scalloped circle from CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts.

Simple layouts are simply the best!

This geotag symbol with stitched detail is a fun added element!  I layered it here with the smallest circle from CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts.

I have a lot to share with you today, as I just couldn’t put these new sets and dies down!

My first project today features the new DONUT YOU KNOW stamp set and DONUT YOU KNOW Confetti Cuts die set.  Can I just say that I LOVE that donuts are trending!!?

For the icing on this donut, I used white t-shirt paint, clear glass glitter and the “regular” sprinkles from the DONUT YOU KNOW Confetti Cuts die set…

My second project today features the new NORTH POLE WISHES stamps and NORTH POLE WISHES Confetti Cuts on a bag cut with the TAGGED TOTE Confetti Cuts die set.  This was such a fun and easy project to make.  I can’t wait to make a few more for Christmas packaging…perfect for gift cards and small sweet treats!

The snow drift on the bottom is cut with with DOIN’ THE WAVE Confetti Cuts die and topped with Diamond Stickles and flaky glitter.  For a little bit of Christmas flair, I added the red and green (layered with white) garland cut from the new CIRCLE GARLAND Confetti Cuts die…

Marley is colored with Copics and paper pieced. The ribbon on the gift is colored with a gold Wink of Stella pen…

This last project features a tag cut from the (previously released) TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts die set and embellised with a sentiment from the new SEASONAL SENTIMENTS stamp set and a layered tree cut from the new BRANCH OUT Confetti Cuts die set.  As you will recall from yesterday’s post, I was having a lot of fun with gold cardstock and I kept that going on this tag by using it with the trunk/branches of the tree.  It’s the perfect bling-y detail for this tag!

The holidays are just around the corner and we have a few products that are going to become staples in your holiday stash.  You know, those ones that you reach for time and time again because they are fun and easy to use and make all your projects look like a million bucks!

The first set we are introducing today is NORTH POLE WISHES…

This set features 2 large sentiments that fit perfectly on our TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts and on the rounded top panel from the TAGGED TOTE Confetti Cuts die set (shown in my projects).  There are 7 images to complement the sentiments, including a variety of patterned holly leaves, holly berries, an envelope and what I like to refer to as a “postal element.”

Of course, there is a coordinating Confetti Cuts die set!

NORTH POLE WISHES Confetti Cuts…

My first project today uses the “Express Mail…” sentiment, along with an envelope popped up in the center.  That lil’ heart sealing the envelope is a sprinkle from the DONUT YOU KNOW Confetti Cuts die set that was introduced yesterday.

Notice anything else that might be new?  Yep. those chevrons are one of our new Confetti Cuts die sets!

TRIPLE CHEVIES Confetti Cuts die set…

This is a single die that cuts 3 different size chevrons at once.  Mix and match to create fun and unique designs!

Next up is a couple of tags that I created using the new NORTH POLE WISHES stamp set and coordinating dies…

For these tags, I used the “Holly Jolly” sentiment and added the stamped/die cut holly leaves and berries in the center.

For this tag, I dressed it up a little by adding pattern paper on the bottom and for the reinforcer.  In addition, I added bit of bling for a little sparkle and added detail.

Introducing SEASONAL SENTIMENTS…

I couldn’t decide which sentiment to reach for first, so I created a card set with 3 different sentiments!

Each of the sentiments is stamped on a white piece of cardstock that I sewed around the edges.

The trees?  Oh, yes, the trees are also new!

Introducing BRANCH OUT…

This Confetti Cuts die set features a tree base, a layering triangle, scalloped detail edge and trunk/branches.

For the cards above, I cut the trees from 2 different color felt and then added the trunk/branches cut from brown cardstock.

Can I tell you a secret?  I didn’t really plan on using the sequins in my original design plan. Don’t get me wrong, I love the way they look.  However, they came to the cards as a necessity to cover up a sloppy sewing corner (Peace, Love & Joy card).  Shhhh…don’t tell anyone!

My next card is perfect for the impending Polar Vortex hitting part of the US soon…

All kidding aside, this is a “cool” sentiment for any of your winter themed cards, tags, scrapbook pages and home decor projects.

The snowflakes are cut from both gold and white cardstock and layered together.  I think I may be ruined for all other snowflake colors now.  I am swooning over the gold!

The snowflakes are from the new LET IT SNOW Confetti Cuts die set that features 3 sizes of this great snowflake shape.  Perfect for lots of layers or on their own…

Since I couldn’t stop at gold snowflakes, I added the gold scalloped panel cut with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die to tie it all together.  Then, I kept going.  Love those gold sequins, too!

Did I mention that I was having fun with gold cardstock? Haha… It didn’t stop there!

The gold on this card is used with the LET IT SNOW Confetti Cuts snowflake dies and with the new PRETTY PANELS: MINI CIRCLE GARLAND Confetti Cuts panel.  This is another one of the eight sentiments included in the SEASONAL SENTIMENTS stamp set and it is stamped on the smaller scalloped circle from CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts.

It’s DAY TWO of our COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI (sneak peeks).  We are so excited about our November 8th release featuring 4 new stamp sets and 7 Confetti Cuts die sets!

We’ve been taking note of a new trend…DONUTS!

Introducing DONUT YOU KNOW stamp and Confetti Cuts dies…

The DONUT YOU KNOW stamp set is full of cute, witty and sweet (of course) sentiments (and sprinkles!) that pair perfectly with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.

This is a set of 6 Confetti Cuts dies: the donut base, the icing, the hole to cut the center of donut and frosting, as well as 3 different perfectly sized sprinkles.  You’ll be whipping up the cutest baker’s dozen in no time!  The best part?…no calories (and they’re super cute!).

My first card today features both the DONUT YOU KNOW stamp and Confetti Cuts die set together to make a sweet birthday card.  You could switch up the colors of the sprinkles to personalize it for a boy or girl…or even your recipient’s favorite team.

Creating these donuts is much easier than making real donuts.  Here’s the how to:

1. Cut the base of the donut with a hole in the center

2. Cut the icing, also with a hole in the center (lining up center holes, adhere to base)

3. Cut your sprinkles out and adhere to frosting

Of course, there are lots of ways to dress up your donuts!  I’ve had tons of fun playing around with different ways to create a variety of different frostings.

For this particular card, I used Ranger white enamel (that I’ve been hoarding for a few years now), along with a white and silver glitter mixture that I picked up at Michaels (there’s a pic of it a little ways down on this post).  I sprinkled the hearts and rectangular sprinkles in two different colors of pink to create the perfect (girly) confection.

And, as you may know, sprinkles tend to fall off here and there so I made a sprinkling of sprinkles around the donuts on the card.

The sentiment is stamped on the rounded rectangle from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set and sewn on the card.

Notice anything else on this card that is new?  It’s subtle, but it’s there!

Introducing the new CIRCLE GARLAND Confetti Cuts…

On the card above, I layered it under my main image panel to give some dimension and detail without taking away from the focal panel.  I also used this Confetti Cuts die on the inside of my card that I peeked on Monday for the Caring Hearts Blog Hop.

My second project featuring the DONUT YOU KNOW stamps and Confetti Cuts is this sweet door hanger.  Our HANGING OUT Confetti Cuts door hanger die has been quite popular and it’s perfect for projects like this.  On this project, I used it in an upright manner.  It still fits perfectly on a door handle, or I could add it to a small bottle of milk…

What’s inside?  Real donuts, of course!

The scalloped edge detail was created by cutting a pink piece of cardstock with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die.

I love this sentiment that plays on words!  It’s great for friends, teachers and neighbors!  I added the name using the LIGHTHEARTED LETTERS stamp set on the flag-ended panel from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set…

For this frosting, I used t-shirt paint (!!), the glitter from Michaels that I mentioned above and some cute lil’ sequins…because some donuts need bling!

My final project today is a tag cut from the TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts die set along with the new DONUT YOU KNOW stamps and Confetti Cuts…

For the icing on this donut, I used Diamond Glaze over the pink cardstock and then added my sprinkles.  Here’s pic that picks up on the how shiny the frosting is…

Happy November ‘Fetti Friends!

I just have to say that I can’t believe that it’s November already and that means that holiday season is about to be in full gear…yay (and yikes!).  We had a great time last night for Halloween and trick-or-treating!  We just hung around around block until an hour into it my 4 year old said, “I think I have enough candy now.  Let’s go home.”  Yes, really!  And then, to top it off, his sister agreed.  Baffled we took them home, watched a short movie and put them to bed. Of course, when Halloween has fallen on a school night it’s been torture to take them back home.  I hope y’all had a fun and safe celebration.  Here’s a pic from last time (applause for not forgetting the camera)…

Well, I said it already…it’s November.  That means it’s time for a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY!

The Confetti Crew has whipped up some fabulous inspiration, but let’s go over the details of this challenge first (notice the new dates!)…

There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.

The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.

Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!

You may enter as many times as you wish.
