. . . . .

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again…I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!  Not the dressing up part, so much, but all the decor and projects that are all about Halloween!  I know most people love Christmas the most, but for me it’s Halloween, then Valentine’s Day and then Christmas.  Being that it’s (just about) fall, it is time to get started all those fun Halloween and Thanksgiving projects!

So, without further adieu let me introduce you to our Halloween stamp set and its coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

CAST A SPELL

CastASpellProductGrapicA

CastASpellCCProductGrapicA

As you can imagine, I have been very busy creating with this set!

This card features the CAST A SPELL stamps and Confetti Cuts, as well as the (previously released) OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts and CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts…

CastASpell1

I added Diamond Glaze on the potion she’s stirring up and Stickles to the fire for some great dimension and detail…

CastASpell1detail2

 . . . . .

My next card features the CAST A SPELL stamps and Confetti Cuts, as well as the new PRETTY PANELS: STARS Confetti Cuts, SO MANY STARS stamp set and the (previously released) DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER and OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts die sets…

Witchie1

Detail shot of all the stars (OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts, PRETTY PANELS: STARS Confetti Cuts and SO MANY STARS stamp set) along with the witch hat from the CAST A SPELL Confetti Cuts die set)…

WitchieHat

The PRETTY PANELS: STARS panel is backed with a gray piece of cardstock cut from the rounded rectangle from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set (these are made to coordinate together).

Love the shape of that sentiment panel?  It’s one of the new dies in the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die set (more below)…

Crisp cool air, fall festivals, family gatherings…all things to be thankful for.

Introducing GIVE THANKS and the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

GiveThanksProductGraphicA

GiveThanksLabel_productgraphicA

The GIVE THANKS Confetti Cuts die set contains two label dies.  The larger die coordinates with the label image in the GIVE THANKS stamp set.  The smaller label is to use with other sentiments or as a layer on your cards, scrapbooks or other paper crafting projects.

I paired this set with the new TAGGED TOTE Confetti Cuts to create a fun giftie that’s perfect for a hostess, friend, teacher, family member (ok, well anyone, really!)…

BountyTote

I created my own embellishment by taking the apple (yes, the apple) from our CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set and flipping it upside down to create a pumpkin.  This was an idea I got from Confetti Crew member, Leigh Penner.  I tell ya, she is CLEVER!  I cut leaves from felt with the leaf swag die from the PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts die set.  The finishing touch is a button with twine and tulle that I popped on top of the pumpkin.

PumpkinDetail

This is just part of the gift set that I created!

I also made a shadow box with the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die and GIVE THANKS stamp set…

ShadowBoxandTote

To create this 3D pumpkin, I cut 5 of the large GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts, folded them in half (crease with a bone folder) and adhered them together.  I topped off with leaves from FRESH ‘N FRUITY Confetti Cuts and a button tied up with linen thread…

ShadowboxDetail

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on September 8th!

Do you love big sentiments on your cards, scrapbook layouts and other paper crafting project?  So do we!

Introducing IN A BIG WAY

InABigWayProductGraphicA

In addition to introducing you to this great new sentiment set, I also want to show you one of the two new PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts that I used on my first couple of cards for this post.

Introducing PRETTY PANELS: TRIANGLES Confetti Cuts…

PPTrianglesProductGraphicA

For these cards, I kept it very clean and simple.  I love how the IN A BIG WAY sentiment pops against the colored PRETTY PANELS: TRIANGLES layer and white base.

TrianglesHelloCard

The PRETTY PANELS: TRIANGLES Confetti Cuts die cut is cut from watercolor paper that I colored with pink, orange and yellow.  I then applied a very thin layer Diamond Glaze so that it would have some sheen to it.

TrianglesHello

As you know, I love dimension.  Here is a shot of how it is all popped up…

TrianglesHelloDetail

I had so much fun creating this card, that I also made it in blue and purple with the “Thanks” sentiment from IN A BIG WAY

. . . . .

Yesterday, I showed you the new TREAT TOTE.  That is just one of the totes that we are releasing this month!

TAGGED TOTE

TaggedToteProductGraphicA

This die set contains SEVEN Confetti Cuts dies!

The base of the tote has a rounded top and we have included a rounded top panel to coordinate with it.  This rounded top panel can be used as a layer on the tote (or any other paper crafting project); however, you can also turn it into a tag.  The small round circle acts as a hole punch and then the larger circle is the reinforcer to be placed over the “punched” hole.  You can easily create handles on the tote using the half oval die.  Also included is a bow die, just as a fun detail.

Here’s my sweet birthday tote using the TAGGED TOTE Confetti Cuts die set and IN A BIG WAY stamp set…

TaggedToteBirthday

TaggedToteBirthdayStarDetail1

The scalloped edge panel was cut using the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die (previously released).  The stars are cut from the OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts die set (previously released).

SoManyStarsProductGraphicA

. . . . .

As promised yesterday, I have a photo tutorial on how to assemble the two totes that are being released September 8th.  For the tutorial, I have used the TAGGED TOTE, but note that assembly is the same for both totes.

Step 1: Cut 2 of the totes and one of the base of the tote.  I have trimmed the 2 smaller tabs off of one of the totes.

Step1

Step 2: (Optional) You can create handles on your tote by using the half oval die.

Step2

Step3

Step 3: Adhere the two totes together.

Step4

Step 4: Add the bottom of the tote to the small tab in the center.

Step5

Step 5: Assemble into tote, adhering the 2 other side flaps.

Step 6: Fold the bottom in and adhere tabs to it.

Step6

Now your tote is assembled and ready to be embellished.

Step7

Step8

Here’s mine all done up with the “Thanks” sentiment from the new IN A BIG WAY stamp set…

ThanksTote

Notice something else that might be new?  Yep, there’s the other PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts die AND the brown panel is the new GIVE THANKS LABEL (more on this one tomorrow!).

CONFETTI CAMERA

By admin
on August 21, 2014

Hey, hey ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Thursday and time for another super awesome Confetti Camera!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

3) For this round we are focusing on ABC (anything but a card) projects.  Keep your eyes peeled for some fabulous ways to use your Reverse Confetti stamps!

. . . . .

Today on Confetti Camera we have the sweet and talented, AMY KOLLING

AmyKIntroPic

Hi everyone!  With school having just started, I want to have a few teacher projects in my stash for this upcoming year.  Today I am sharing some bag toppers that are embellished with CLASS ACT and CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts.  These will be perfect to have on hand to top off a gift card or a bag of sweets for that special teacher!

ConfettiCamera 8.21.14

I started with some kraft bags that I picked up some time ago at Target.  I used the TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts for my bag topper scoring and folding the top of the tag over the bag.  My topper was stamped and heat embossed in clear embossing powder with the alphabet block stamp from CLASS ACT.  I added a stamped sentiment tab to my topper with a tiny staple and added a stamped and die cut apple from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts.

Here are the toppers I created:

This scrappy card is perfect for sending a sweet hello to a friend.

The gold cardstock is cut with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER die.  I love the glimmer of the gold, which I mirrored with the sequins.

The main panel consists of the rounded rectangle from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set, CHEVRON PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts and the heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.

Howdy ‘Fetti Fans!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!  I had a wonderful birthday filled with food, family and fun!  In addition to turning 29 (again!), it was my lil’ man’s first day of school.  Here’s a pic of the two of us…

After we dropped him off, my hubby and I headed to IKEA to pick up the last piece of my office transformation.  Once that piece is built, I will be sharing pics.  Stay tuned!

. . . . .

We have another great Confetti Camera here for you today!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:

Today on Confetti Camera we have the very sweet and wonderfully talented, LEIGH PENNER

LeighIntroPic

“Hi there! Today I am sharing a scrapbook layout that I made using Fabulous FlamingoSo Stripey & the Class Act Confetti Cuts.

 IMGP9421

I started with some Webster’s Pages patterned paper to scrapbook this photo of my daughter and I. I was inspired by the Fabulous Flamingo sentiment: “what makes you different makes you beautiful” and wanted to use it for the title of my page. However, I decided to change the last word to “amazing” & to spell it out on my layout using chipboard letters.

 IMGP9422

For the sentiment, I die cut some patterned paper using the rounded edge rectangle die from Class Act Confetti Cuts and masked the sentiment so as to not stamp “beautiful”. Then I tucked  this behind my photo and added a super sweet coordinating charm.

IMGP9424

I cut my patterned paper into a 3″ square and stamped a So Stripey stamp in this fun purple colour. For my flamingo, I stamped the head & body in the same purple, but stamped it off once first, before stamping it onto the patterned paper.  Then I stamped the legs and beak in sweet blush. I finished it off by stamping “beautiful” from the same Fabulous Flamingo sentiment.

IMGP9425

For my journaling, I die cut another panel from the notebook patterned paper using the same Class Act Confetti Cuts die, trimmed off the one edge and wrote out my journaling with my Sharpie. A couple of buttons and twine finish it off.”

. . . . .

As you can see, this isn’t my normal WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS kind of post, but there is still a lot of Reverse Confetti inspiration in store for you today!  In addition to my project, but sure to check out the links to the Confetti Crew members posting today…

EDITED:  The super duper sweet Confetti Crew gals planned a birthday hop for me (awww!!!)  Here’s the line-up (edited from links I had on my post earlier).  Thank you, girls!!!!

AND…

Paulina from Pretty Pink Posh has a great project and video for you to see, too!

As I noted above, it’s my birthday (29th again, of course),and it is also my lil’ guy’s first day of preschool.  I always do a little something for the teachers on the first day of school and this is what I came up with this year…

The buckets are from the $1 spot at Target and I filled them with:

Granola Bar

Chocolate

Hand Sanitizer

Lip Balm

Gel Pens

Mini Post-It Notes

Stickers

And, then topped it off with a cute tag using the TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts die set, CLASS ACT stamp set, CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set, LIGHTHEARTED LETTERS stamp set and TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set.
