Hello ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Hump Day!

It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between. Today, Confetti Crew member, Sarah Gough,

. . . . .

I’m about to be an Aunt for the first time, any day now in fact. While we wait for an overdue little miss to make an appearance, of course I’ve been shopping! And that means lovely tags on pretty baby bundles. Today I wanted to combine the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die with a larger tag base for a combo tag/card that can be filled out and sent on its way just as soon as the little sweetie arrives!

tagcard (1)

I’m using the FOLDED TAG SENTIMENTS stamp set and coordinating FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts along with the LOVE NOTE, TAG ME and TAG ME TOO  Confetti Cuts dies today.

tagcard (3)

I wanted the FOLDED TAG Confetti die to have the same design on both the front and the back, so I cut a second piece and simply trimmed along the score line.

tagcard (4)

This is a great way to cover up using a single sided paper for the tag, and gives a cohesive look. tagcard (2)

I’ve cut the TAG ME TOO Confetti Cuts die from designer paper, and layered with a vellum LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die cut. I love the way these two scalloped pieces look together.

tagcard (5)

To top the layered tags, I cut the long flag ended piece from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set, and curled it in my fingers before adhering it over the layered piece with glue dots. This stops it from creasing when you bend it around your piece.

I love that the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die gives you lots of space for a personal message, and I think it looks amazing layered on any of the other larger Reverse Confetti tags!

Hello there, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s DAY TWO of our sneak peeks, a.k.a. THE COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!  We are beyond excited that in just a couple of days 5 new stamp sets, 7 new Confetti Cuts die sets and the new *limited edition* QUICK CARD PANELS will be available.

. . . . .

Just a note…all of our releases will happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month.  We will release new product every other month.  We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not.  Just remember, “Eight is Great!”

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our page…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on March 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Today we are introducing a stamp set with a coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.  Actually, it’s kind of the other way around.  It’s a Confetti Cuts die set that I designed and then created a stamp set to go with it.  Either way, I think you’ll love it!

This die was designed out of necessity in a way.  I am a little bit of a “last minute Lucy” and often times I find myself scrambling to make a card and/or a tag to attach to a gift.  These dies and stamps are my solution to that issue, plus they’re very versatile and can be used on many things, all year round (gotta love that!).

FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts

The FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die is a tag and card in one.  It can be used with the FOLDED TAG SENTIMENTS or on it’s own.  The sentiments fit on the rounded rectangle included with the die set and that will fit on the inside or outside of the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die.  The bottom part flips up easily and then tucks under the flap. Easy peasy…and super cute!

Here’s a set I made using each of the sentiments…

I used a variety of colors of cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and twine for a fun little mix!

The inside with a handwritten note…

And, a couple of group shots…

. . . . .

In addition to creating this group of tags, I had a little fun making the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts die into a little treat holder…

To created this treat holder tag, I measured how wide my chocolate carrots (which are way better than regular ones, by the way) were and scored an extra line across the FOLDED TAG Confetti Cuts.  I then attached the carrots with some double sided tape, flipped up the front (attached that to the front of the carrots on the inside with double sided tape, too) and embellished the front with the bunny from the new MORE THAN JELLYBEANS Confetti Cuts die set cut from felt.  I attached the felt bunny to a piece of die cut cardstock for a little more stability and then added the pink twine and puffy white tail.

Detail shots…

. . . . .

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on March 8th!

Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!
