FEBRUARY HOP

By Jen del Muro
on February 08, 2018

Hello and Happy Thursday, ‘Fetti Fans.

Welcome to our LOVE IS IN THE AIR Blog Hop!  We have lots of wonderful inspiration to share with you today.  If you leave a comment on each of the stops along the hop by 2/11 you will be entered to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!  You will find a link list to each blog hop stop at the bottom of this post.

. . . . .

I gave you a little peek at this project over on our Instagram account last week as I was working on it.  When I started it, I wasn’t entirely sure the direction that it was going to go, but I do love how it turned out!

I started with the GOODIE BOX Confetti Cuts die cut from Salsa and Piggy Bank cardstocks and then stamped the rose image from the SOMETHING WONDERFUL stamp set multiple times in the same color ink.

From there I cut tags from the TAG DUO Confetti Cuts die set and added the sentiment from the KINDNESS CARDS set.

I wrapped black sheer ribbon that I have had in my stash forever around the boxes and with the tags.

You can see here how I popped up the words…

One last detail shot…

. . . . .

Alright, it’s time for me to send you on your way!  Enjoy all of the inspiration and don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way.

SWEET VALENTINE TREATS

By Jen del Muro
on January 29, 2018

Hello and Happy Monday, ‘Fetti Fans!

I mentioned in the January Countdown to Confetti that I am so happy to be back to creating again.  Now, I just need to find more time to do it!  Getting back in the swing of things has been great, but I’ve been playing a bit of catch up on stuff that I needed to get done.  My assistant, Jacky, is from Switzerland and she has been there for the last 6 weeks so that has added to the craziness around here, too.  Needless to say, I’ll be glad when she is back!  Fortunately, I did manage to squeeze in a little bit of creative last week and I am here to share that with you today.

My mom recently moved to Texas and she asked if I could take her to Michael’s.  I was happy to take her there and just happened to find myself wandering down a few aisles (you know how that goes!).  I came across the cutest little candy jars in the wedding/party area and I knew right away that I had to make them into little Valentine treat containers…with a Reverse Confetti touch, of course!!

The tag was created with the stitched square in the SCALLOPED SQUARES Confetti Cuts die set (cut from PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock).  From there, I added hearts cut from PIGGY BANK and SALSA cardstock using the smaller heart in the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.  The “Happy Heart Day” sentiment is from the new HEART FILLED SENTIMENTS and it is stamped in SALSA ink.

I punch a hole in stitched square and then added it to the jar with Charcoal Stripe TWINE and various ribbons I have in my crafty stash.

I filled the glass jars with a mix of Hershey Hugs and Kisses and then kids came in and oooh’d and aaaah’d at these.   I’m pretty sure that they will be headed to school with them for their teachers on Valentines Day (that was kinda the plan all along anyways)!

Here’s a shot from the top…

I chose the “Happy Heart Day” for this project because it’s an appropriate sentiment to give to teachers, friends and neighbors.  The HEART FILLED SENTIMENTS set has lots of other sentiments to choose from if you do want to get a little more lovey-dovey.

One more shot of these darlings all together…

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI

By Jen del Muro
on January 07, 2018

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY THREE of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!

It’s our third and final day of reveals and tonight at midnight all of the new products will be live in the store.  We’re celebrating the release with a HUGE hop tomorrow.  You do not want to miss it!

. . . . .

It’s also the final day to enter to win on Facebook.  Check out our page HERE and look for the graphic below.  Winners announced later today.

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST TODAY will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Today we are revealing 2 new stamp sets with coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I love both of these for Valentine’s Day, but know that they will be used over and over throughout the year.

The first set features a gorgeous rose silhouette and 3 hand scripted sentiments…

SOMETHING WONDERFUL

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

. . . . .

As you know, I am not much for messy techniques, but I do love clean, simple ones that create a lot of impact.  By stamping the rose image from SOMETHING WONDERFUL in white pigment ink and then stamping over it in STONE ink I was able to create a lot of depth on this card…

On the STONE cardstock base, I stamped the rose image 4 times and then stamped over those images in STONE ink.  I also stamped 2 more just like that and cut them out.  From there, I layered those cuts with cuts from MIDNIGHT cardstock and popped them over the sentiment.

I love this sentiment!  It’s uplifting and great for so many occasions, or just because.

One more detail shot…

. . . . .

There’s no doubt that this world needs more kindness in it.  What better way to spread a little kindness and cheer with our new set…

KINDNESS CARDS

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

This set is makes the perfect little lunchbox notes for kiddos and sweet notecards for friends and neighbors to let them know what they mean to you.  Also included is a thank you sentiment for sweet thank you notes.

I created this coordinating set so quickly and easily and I can’t wait to pass them out…

Each of the cards was cut from PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock with the rounded rectangle (3″ x 4″) from the KINDNESS CARDS Confetti Cuts.  I then stamped the “I think you’re,” “because” and dashed lines in LAGOON ink (I cannot seem to put this color away-swoon!).  From there, I stamped the diagonal lines from the ELEMENTAL STRIPES stamp set in FLAMINGO ink.

Each of the descriptive words is stamped in SUNSHINE ink and cut out and layered over a DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER cut from ICED AQUA cardstock. I then stamped the arrows in RUST and LIME GREEN inks, along with the heart in FLAMINGO ink.

You already know who you want to pass these out to, don’t you?  For me, it’s YOU!!  I wish I could make one for every ‘Fetti Fan out there!  These particular ones will probably make their way into my kiddos’ lunch boxes and into my son’s 2nd grade teacher’s mailbox.

Alright, it’s time for me to send you on your way to see more great projects made with the new goodies we are introducing today!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: Heart Spots

By Jen del Muro
on January 06, 2018

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY TWO of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!

If you missed yesterday’s post, you missed A LOT, so be sure to scroll down and check it out.  We’re just a couple days away from our January 8th release when 6 new stamp sets, 5 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6×6 paper pad will be available.  We have a BIG party (hop) planned for the 8th, too!

Here’s our schedule for the next few days…

. . . . .

You have a chance to win over on Facebook, too.  Just look for this graphic and instructions at the top of our feed…

. . . . .

We have a super duper cute critter set to introduce to you today…

HEART SPOTS

Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

Aren’t they the cutest!?!  I call them cheetahs, but the design team has had a discussion on whether they are cheetahs or leopards (jaguars even came up).  Call ’em what you want as long as you call them cute…and then color them and pop them on a card!

I stamped the images on our CLOUD WHITE cardstock, which is **GREAT** for watercoloring and then I used Zig Watercolor Brushes to color the images on this card…

I started with a card base measuring 3.75″ square and then topped it with a STONE cardstock panel.  From there, I layered a MIDNIGHT cardstock layer cut with the DROP COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts and the large square frame from the SCALLOPED SQUARES Confetti Cuts die set (in STONE).  The frame is popped up with dimensional adhesive.

I then added the images and the hearts (from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set) and the “i love us” sentiment.  I had a few extra twine bows on my desk from yesterday’s project and decided to go ahead and add one here, too.

. . . . .

That’s all for me today.  The Confetti Crew has a lot to share with you today and we’ll be back tomorrow for our third and final day of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI with even more reveals.  Don’t miss a thing!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: Christmas Cheer, Cool Friend, Sweet Holiday and So Much More

By Jen del Muro
on November 05, 2017

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY ONE of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!

This is our final release of 2017 and I think that you will agree that we are going out with a bang!  We are releasing 6 new stamp sets, 10 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6×6 paper pad.

Here’s our schedule for the next few days…

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed (beginning at 9am EST today)…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on November 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Well, ‘Fetti Fans, here it goes! Jeanne Jachna is sharing projects here for the sneak peek days.  I’ll be back for the hop! Now, you know the drill…sit back, enjoy that cuppa and all of the Confetti Creativity we have in store for you today.

First up is our brand new 6×6 paper pad…

CHEERFUL & KIND

This paper pad has all the right designs and colors for seasonal projects, but easily transitions into a pad that you can reach for all year long.

The Confetti Colors that are in this pad are: Midnight, Lime Green, Flamingo, Rose Red, Baby Blue, Mist and Stone

. . . . .

We have 3 great stamp set introductions for you today (and lotsa Confetti Cuts dies, too).  First up for the stamps is…

CHRISTMAS CHEER

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

Before we hop into the projects, I need to introduce another Confetti Cuts die set that is already gaining a lot of attention…

SCALLOPED SQUARES

. . . . .

Jeanne’s first project of the day features a combination of the new CHEERFUL & KIND 6×6 Paper Pad, CHRISTMAS CHEER stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts and the new SCALLOPED SQUARES Confetti Cuts…

These Santa’s Helpers will have you smiling all season long!

There’s lots of accessories (presents a stocking and a sack) and fun sentiments so you can personalize them for everyone on your NICE list!  Matching Confetti Cuts make them a breeze to cut and arrange as you like.

Do you love that Scallop Square frame?  Jeanne used the largest layer of a nested set of 3 dies.  The finished card is 4 ½” Square, and the die cut Scallop Square is 4 1/8”.

. . . . .

Next up in our introductions is a pair of frosty pals…

COOL FRIEND

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

We have a fabulous new 3.25″ x 4.5″ panel, too…

SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL

. . . . .

This next card pairs the new COOL FRIEND stamps and Confetti Cuts dies with the SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL and CHEERFUL & KIND 6×6 Paper Pad…

Layering the SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL with the pattern paper is a fun way to build detail and texture to your projects.  Note, the panel can be used in any direction, for even more possibilities.

The snowflake on this card come from the LET IT SNOW Confetti Cuts die set…

One more detail shot…

. . . . .

Here we are at the final introductions for the day and then I’m sending you on your way to see what the Confetti Crew has been up to using the new release goodies.  But first, a little story…

Last year, hubs and I were at Costco doing some Christmas shopping and I picked up a couple of gingerbread house kits.  We had relatives coming in for the holidays and I figured it would be a fun activity to do all together.  I wanted them to be a surprise, so I hid them away in my closet.  Our company came and we had a fabulous time.  They left and then January came and went and before long, I was getting out some stuff in our closet when I spot the 2 gingerbread house boxes sitting up there…in March.  Yes, for 3 months I totally forgot about them.  I didn’t want to bring them out then, so I figured we would do a Christmas in July thing.  Guess what?  I totally forgot about them again!  Granted, I have had A LOT on my plate this year with chemo, surgery, radiation and just life in general, but it’s a little embarrassing to admit that they are still on the top shelf of my closet.  Hopefully, I’ll remember to bring them out after Thanksgiving.  I think we’ll pass on eating them, though!

So why that story?  Because it was a bit of an inspiration for developing this new set…

SWEET HOLIDAY

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

Here is the first of 2 Cover Panels that we are releasing this month…

LARGE DIAMOND COVER PANEL

 . . . . .

Jeanne: I have lots of fond memories of decorating ginger bread houses with my kids. I think more candy made it into our mouths than onto the houses!  This stamp set is calorie free and super sweet!

The details on this confection are amazing!  This card has such a tempting scene…a gingerbread house surrounded by gum drop trees…

The chimney has a swirl of gems rising from it, and there is a peppermint walk way to the front door.

The Large Diamond Cover Panel makes for a beautiful background. Here it is layered over a watercolor background.  This Cover Panel is magical! You can see the cut out diamonds, X’s between the diamonds,  and ovals surrounding the diamonds!

 . . . . .

It’s time for us to send you on your way to see more fabulous creations using the November release products.  You may even catch a glimpse at another new Cover Panel, too!

HAPPY FALL-IDAYS: CHRISTMAS

By Jen del Muro
on October 20, 2016

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s our third and final day of this 2nd annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS celebration here at Reverse Confetti!  I’m sure you have enjoyed the Halloween and Thanksgiving projects that we have shared the last two days and we have a fun finale for you with Christmas today!

Fallidays_Christmas

. . . . .

Being that I did banners for days 1 & 2, I thought that I would keep with the same theme for today.

dsc_0307

The bases for this banner with cut from the TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set.

Each end is cut from kraft cardstock and then adorned with a bow created from the LAYERED BOW Confetti Cuts die set.  I topped it off with a button tied off with CHARCOAL Striped Twine.  On the bottom of the panel is a LIME GREEN strip cut with dots from the EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts die set.

dsc_0299

The next panel is a white TOPPED OFF TAG that is layered with a BRICK cardstock layer cut with the BIG STRIPES TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts die set. From there, I added the tree from the MERRY CHRISTMOOSE Confetti Cuts die set and two snowflakes cut from the SNOWFLAKE TRIO Confetti Cuts die set…

dsc_0308

The center banner is cut from CLOUD WHITE cardstock and is layered with a kraft panel that I cut with the JINGLE ALL THE WAY Confetti Cuts die.  I popped it with dimensional adhesive for added dimension.

HAPPY FALL-IDAYS: THANKSGIVING

By Jen del Muro
on October 19, 2016

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

Welcome to the 2nd day of the 2nd annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS creative event!  Yesterday we shared a spooky and sweet Halloween projects and today we are sharing THANKSGIVING projects.  I think that you’ll find yourself reaching for your Reverse Confetti stash to create lots of these projects for yourself!

Falliday_Thanksgiving

. . . . .

I was so tickled with the way that my little Halloween banner turned out that I decided to stay on that track and create a THANKSGIVING one, too!

dsc_0288

For the bases, I used the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die set cut from kraft (in my stash) and STONE cardstock.

Each of the ends has cuts from the WHEAT Confetti Cuts die set (from STONE cardstock).

dsc_0292

The pumpkin banners are cut from STONE cardstock then layered with the PUMPKIN PATCH Confetti Cuts die cut (using TANGERINE and AVOCADO cardstock)  The SO STRIPEY stamp set was still sitting on my desk, so I went ahead and inked it up with our TANGERINE ink for a tone on tone striped pumpkin.

dsc_0291

The center banner panel has an acorn from the HAPPY HARVEST stamp set (cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set).  The top of the acorn is cut from STONE cardstock and then textured by using the new POINTED OUT stencil and translucent embossing paste.  After the embossing paste was dry, I used a sponge and added a little bit of STONE ink.

HAPPY FALL-IDAYS: HALLOWEEN

By Jen del Muro
on October 18, 2016

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY ONE of our 2nd annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS creative event!

Fallidays_Halloween

Like last year, myself and the Confetti Crew will be sharing Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas projects over the course of the next 3 days.  Enjoy all the Confetti Creativity!  We’d LOVE to see your Reverse Confetti Fall-idays projects, too!  Be sure to share them on Facebook and Instagram using #reverseconfetti

. . . . .

As you know, I absolutely LOVE Halloween and decorating for Halloween!  I try to create a new banner every year and I’ve had this idea in my head and knew this was the perfect time to share it!

dsc_0280

This banner uses both older and newer Reverse Confetti products.  I LOVE being able to mix and match stuff!

The banners are cut from TANGERINE cardstock with the LAYERED BANNER DUO Confetti Cuts die set.  I then used the HALLOWEEN BITS Confetti Cuts to create the jack-o-lantern and then layered it with a piece of black cardstock (not in our line up yet, but it’s coming).  For the top of the jack-o-lanterns, I cut a banner from LIME GREEN cardstock and stamped it with WHOLE LOTTA DOTS and finally trimmed it down to about 1/4″.

dsc_0282

The other banner panels are cut from our CLOUD WHITE cardstock and stamped with stripes from the SO STRIPEY stamp set.  I then added a black bat cut with the HALLOWEEN BITS Confetti Cuts die set.  The top of the tag is cut from STONE cardstock.

dsc_0283

Finally, each piece of the banner is strung onto CHARCOAL striped twine.

Today we are introducing 2 new stamp sets along with some great new Confetti Cuts dies!

I absolutely LOVE real vintage ornaments!  So much so that I wanted to have them as stamps here at Reverse Confetti!

Introducing…

VINTAGE ORNAMENTS

vintageornamentsproductgraphic

And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

ccvintageornamentproductgraphic

Before I jump into my first card for today, I want to share with you another new Confetti Cuts die…

2 WAY STRIPES COVER PANEL

cc2waystripescoverpanelproductgraphic

(Yep, just like the 2 WAY STRIPES TAG LAYER that I revealed yesterday).

. . . . .

My first card today features both the VINTAGE ORNAMENTS stamps and Confetti Cuts dies along with the new 2 WAY STRIPES COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts die…

dsc_0234

I stamped the ornaments in BRICK, RC AQUA and LIME GREEN Confetti Colors ink and place them on top of the 2 WAY STRIPES COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts with a piece of ICED AQUA under the bottom stripes.  I love the white on white, but it needed a little extra pop of color and the ICED AQUA does just that.

Detail shot…

dsc_0237

The ornaments are “hung” with Caribbean TWINE and sequins were added for a little touch of bling…

dsc_0235

. . . . .

Before I get to my next card using this duo, I’d like to introduce you to another Confetti Cuts die that will be available on October 8th…

JINGLE ALL THE WAY

ccjingleallthewayproductgraphic

This is a single die that cuts all 4 words at once.

I’ve used the new JINGLE ALL THE WAY Confetti Cuts die along with the new 2 WAY STRIPES COVER PANEL and VINTAGE ORNAMENTS stamps (ornament hanger) and Confetti Cuts dies here…

dsc_0271

“Jingle All The Way” is cut directly from the card base and then is backed with BRICK and AVOCADO cardstock.

dsc_0266

The ornament consist of 2 VINTAGE ORNAMENTS cuts layered/popped up and embellished with leaves (I’m about to reveal those in just a sec), Cappuccino TWINE and jingle bells.

For this card, I cut the 2 WAY STRIPES COVER PANEL cut in half and backed with our new STONE cardstock.  The scalloped edge was created by cutting our new AVOCADO cardstock with the (previously released) WONKY DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die…

dsc_0267

. . . . .

Our second stamp set that we are revealing is the latest addition to our faith based line of stamps…

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS

christmasblessingsproductgraphic

One of the Confetti Crew Design Team members asked, “Can we please get a wreath with leaves on?”  How about one with leaves, holly and pine needles?…

LEAFY WREATH

ccleafywreathproductgraphic

The CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS stamp set pairs beautifully with the LEAFY WREATH Confetti Cuts die set…

dsc_0190

The wreath is built up with leaves cut in AVOCADO and LIME GREEN and is adorned with holly and pine needles.  I put in atop a piece of patterned paper from the new VERY MERRY 6 x 6 PAD and gave it a bow made from Natural TWINE

dsc_0192

Detail shot of the CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS sentiment…

dsc_0193

. . . . .

Wishing for a white Christmas?  Well, you can have one on paper with the new snowflake Confetti Cuts…

SNOWFLAKE TRIO

ccsnowflaketrioproductgraphic

My last introduction for today is a SUPER FUN new Confetti Cuts die set that will set your cards apart from anyone else’s!

POP UP CIRCLE

cccirclepopupproductgraphic

Here’s what you can do with the new SNOWFLAKE TRIO and POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts (and new CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS stamps)…

dsc_0216

With the POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts, you are able to “pop up” a portion of your card and embellish.  The card still opens and closes as normal and can still fit into an A2 size envelope (**see tutorial below**).

Detail shot of the popped up portion of the card with the stitched circle and scalloped circle included in the POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts die set used to create layers…

dsc_0217

. . . . .

On my next card, I did it just a little differently.  I cut the card base from the new STONE cardstock and then created a stitched circle using the DETAILED CIRCLES Confetti Cuts (as opposed to adding the stitched circle layer included in the POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts die set)…

dsc_0272

I layered the scalloped circled included in the POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts die set behind the STONE base.  The sentiment, from the new CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS stamp set, is stamped in black ink in the center…

dsc_0274

To create the snow drift on this card, I used the rounded edge from the EDGERS Confetti Cuts die set along with Stickles and some matte/shiny glitter.  The trees are from the new MERRY CHRISTMOOSE stamp set and are watercolored and cut using the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.  I added the same glitter to the limbs as “snow.”

dsc_0273

My finishing touches for this card are Charcoal Striped TWINE tied through a wood button, along with sequins and a star cut with SEEING STARS Confetti Cuts die set from ICED AQUA card stock.

. . . . .

As promised, here is a short tutorial on how to use the POP UP CIRCLE Confetti Cuts die set…

step1

cp1

step2

cp2

cp3

step3

cp4

Yep, that easy! *wink*

Other than the fact that you will be making seriously awesome cards with this Confetti Cuts die set, the best part is that (using these measurements) your card will still fit into an A2 size envelope!

. . . . .

The Confetti Crew has been super busy creating with all the new goodies and I know they are excited to share their creations with you!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!

The tag is tied to the TREAT TUBE TOPPER Confetti Cuts (released last month) which is cut from STONE cardstock. I stamped the snowflake trio using white pigment ink for a little added detail on the topper.
