. . . . .

In addition to the 4 new product lines, we, of course, still have our stamps and Confetti Cuts to share with you (YAY!).  As many of you already know, Halloween is my favorite time of year to create and this release has so many fun Fall/Halloween goodies.  With that being said, let’s get onto the introductions…

BEST WITCHES

BestWitchesProductGraphic

BestWitchesCCProductGraphic

My first card today uses the BEST WITCHES stamps and Confetti Cuts along with the new FRIGHT NIGHT 6×6 pad…

DSC_0930

For the shaker portion of this card, I used the SHAKERS ‘N FRAMES Confetti Cuts die set.  You may have seen my “secret tool” for making shaker cards on Instagram the other day.  I’ll be doing a Facebook live post about that this week, too.

Detail shot…

DSC_0935

The DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die was used to create the scalloped edge (from ICED AQUA cardstock).

. . . . .

Let’s do another product introduction before I get to my next project!  Introducing…

WEB TAG LAYER

WebTagLayerProductGraphic

The WEB TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts die set is the latest addition to the Confetti Cuts that layer with the TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set.

I’ve used it as the perfect spooky backdrop on my next project…

DSC_0965

It’s hard to get spooked with a witch this cute!

The GRAPE SODA tag was cut from the TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts and then layered with the new WEB TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts and topped off with the witch, cauldron and sentiment from the new BEST WITCHES stamp set.

Detail shot…

DSC_0966

The tag is finished off with the pinked edge HANG UPS Confetti Cuts (to match the edge of her dress) along with a few green sequins.

. . . . .

Next up is a couple of Halloween themed products that pair well together…

HALLOWEEN BITS

HalloweenBitsProductGraphic

TREAT YO’ SELF

TreatYoSelfProductGraphic

This card uses a variety of new products.  The polka dot background was created with the new LOTSA DOTS stencil and glossy black embossing paste.  Once that was dry, I layered the sentiment from the TREAT YO’ SELF stamp set (on a SCALLOPED CIRCLE Confetti Cuts) and bats from the HALLOWEEN BITS Confetti Cuts die set.

DSC_0955

The bats are doubled up with our GRAPE SODA cardstock below an (in my stash) gray…

DSC_0952

. . . . .

It’s so easy making lots and lots of tags when products go together so easily…

DSC_0968

I started off (again!) with the TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set and then stamped the “You’re so FAB-BOO-LOUS” sentiment (from the new TREAT YO’ SELF stamp set) in black.  I added the sweet (or is he spooky?) ghost along with hangers from the HANG UPS, TOO Confetti Cuts die set in ICED AQUA, TANGERINE and (in my stash) black.  As a finishing touch I added buttons tied off with the new CHARCOAL STRIPE twine.

. . . . .

The Confetti Crew has been super busy creating with all the new goodies and I know they are excited to share their creations with you!

CONFETTI CAMERA WITH COOKIES

By Jen del Muro
on May 12, 2016

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans…

It’s Thursday and time for Confetti Camera!

ConfettiCameraRCblog

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations!  However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to “think outside the card” and beyond birthdays.  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight today is the very talented…Amy Rohl.

AmyR

Hi there, ‘Fetti Fans! It’s Amy here today with my take on the Confetti Camera “Celebrate Good Times” theme. I’ve centered my celebration around the upcoming National Chocolate Chip Day on Sunday, May 15th.

confetti camera choc chip day

As I perused Pinterest for inspiration, I kept coming across Cookie Monster ideas and decided to use that cute furry monster as the inspiration for my celebration ensemble.

confetti camera cm bag

The Clear Tote was a cinch to disguise as Cookie Monster! I started by trimming a 4×8.5 inch piece of blue cardstock and scored it 6″ and again at 8″. I then die cut the rounded rectangle for his mouth using the Happy Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts die. The eyes were made using circle dies from Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts and Documented Confetti Cuts.

confetti camera sweet milk jug

I created the ‘sweet’ label for my milk jar by layering Confetti Cuts dies from Flowers For Mom (black), Big Stripes Cover Panel (blue), Detailed Circles (kraft) and Lovey Words (sweet). The cookie layer was stamped with a single dot from Whole Lotta Dots (yes, I trimmed a single dot from the smaller dot stamp *wink*) in chocolate ink.

confetti camera balloons

Finally, the card! I had so much fun creating this card using the balloon die from Boxes ‘n Balloons Confetti Cuts and the mini banner from Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts. The sentiment was personalized for Chocolate Chip Day using sentiments from Celebrations (Let’s), With Love (celebrate, day) and Alphabetical. The mini monster balloon was created with the smallest Detailed Circle Confetti Cuts for the mouth and the Layered Bow and Falling Confetti Confetti Cuts for the eyes.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my National Chocolate Chip Day celebration and get a chance to celebrate it on Sunday!

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Thursday and time for another great CONFETTI CAMERA!

In the spotlight today is our Kiwi pal, the very talented…Sarah Gough!

. . . . .

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, my thoughts turned to the gorgeous Rose Garden stamp set – and how great it would be to send a bouquet of roses that’ll last a little longer than real ones! With that thought in mind I made a card-in-a-box using lots of Confetti Cuts to create a garden of blooms celebrating Mother’s Day.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (1)

To create a box this size, I started with a 5×11″ piece of cardstock, scoring at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″ then again at 1.5″. Trim off a 1″ piece and set aside. Cut off the end of the cardstock (crosshatched in the photo) leaving a little tab and cut down the smaller scored lines to create flaps. Using the 1″ piece, create two or three inserts and adhere inside the box as shown (one of mine bent as I put it inside the box, this won’t matter in the long run). Your box will still fold flat, but will also stand upright with sections you can decorate with pop ups!

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (2)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (3)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (4)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (5)

Using thin strips of acetate and glue dots, I stamped and cut lots of roses and leaves from Rose Garden using the Rose Garden Confetti Cuts. Some are adhered directly to the thin strips of cardstock, others are “floating” on acetate. As I fill the box, I fold it down to see how the flowers will layer when the box is flat.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (7)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (8)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (10)

I also used the Whole Lotta Happy stamp set, the Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts and added borders to the flaps with the Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts. I used the Leafy Confetti Cuts to add extra leaves and the Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts for some sparkly accents.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (6)

When it’s all finished the card-in-a-box should lay relatively flat for easy mailing!

. . . . .

Last month we had a wonderful time celebrating Mom with the FLOWERS FOR MOM Confetti Cuts die set.  Well, we couldn’t leave Dad out of the picture and we are celebrating all dads with our new set…

TIE-RIFIC

Tie-rificStamps_ProductImage

The coordinating Confetti Cuts die set features the tie from the TIE-RIFIC stamp set as well as the word “dad” and a stitched pocket die…

Tie-rificCCProductImage

My first project featuring this stamp and Confetti Cuts combo is a sleek and simple card with the tie stamped and die cut 3 times.  The ties are popped up on pop dots and then I added the word “dad” (layered in white and dark gray) on top.

TieRificCard

Detail shot…

TieRificCard2

The edge of the card front is cut at a diagonal and then I added a stitched detail with the new EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts die set…

TieRificCard1

. . . . .

Before I get to my next couple of projects using the TIE-RIFIC stamps and Confetti Cuts dies, I’d like to introduce you to another new and fun Confetti Cuts die set!  Introducing…

INSTA-FRAME

InstaFrameCC_ProductImage

The outer rectangle on this Confetti Cuts die set can be separated from the stitched frame for lots of creative possibilities on your paper crafting projects!

  1. Use outer rectangle and inner stitched frame together to create a panel for a card front, scrapbook page, etc.  Simply add your own panel to slip under then photo corners.
  2. Separate inner stitched frame and use directly on your card fronts, etc. to get a stitched detail and photo corners to hold an image panel (I’ll have a couple samples of this for you tomorrow and Friday).
  3. Use together or separate and put your photos from your INSTAX camera under the photo corners.  Yep, this Confetti Cuts die set works brilliantly with your INSTAX photos, making scrapbooking them a breeze!

. . . . .

For my first project pairing TIE-RIFIC and INSTA-FRAME together, I created a tag.  Yes, you can even make a tag from the INSTA-FRAME Confetti Cuts die set!  I just added one of the hangers from the HANG UPS Confetti Cuts die set and viola…a tag!

PapaTag

The panel is the center is cut to 2 1/8″ x 3 3/8″, which is approximately the same size as a picture/film from the INSTAX camera.

For the word “papa,” I stamped it once in gray and then offset it a little and stamped again without re-inking to create a slight shadow…

PapaTag2

Here you can see just how the main panel tucks under the photo corners and the addition of the HANG UPS Confetti Cuts…

PapaTag1

. . . . .

This next project also uses the rectangle die to cut out the stitched frame.  This time I added my INSTAX camera pictures and created a fun, framed layout that will be given to the hubster this year for Father’s Day (or possibly before because he is bound to see this…today, probably).

DSC_0811

As you can see, on the left are the pics in the Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts die cut and to the right, I embellished with the pocket and “dad” in the TIE-RIFIC Confetti Cuts die set and added multiple sentiments throughout.

Detail shots…

Here’s one more of the INSTA-FRAME holding the INSTAX camera pics perfectly (of course, you could cut any picture down to use with this Confetti Cuts)…

SPRING FLING BLOG HOP

By Jen del Muro
on March 18, 2016

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and HAPPY SPRING!

We’re celebrating the flowers blooming and birds chirping with an inspiration filled SPRING FLING Blog Hop!

SpringFlingGraphic

We’ll be giving away a $15 gift certificate to one lucky commenter, too!  Just leave a comment at each stop along the way for your chance to win.  Comments will be open today through Sunday with a winner announced next week.

. . . . .

My project today is a sweet and simple treat basket that I created from the GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG Confetti Cuts die set (how-to information below)…

DSC_0500

The “main image panel” on the front of the treat basket is created from the FLOWERS FOR MOM and BUTTERFLY DREAMS Confetti Cuts die sets.  I stamped the “happy spring” sentiment (from HIPPITY HOPPITY) on the banner in white pigment ink…

 DSC_0503

The treat basket is filled with paper grass and a little plastic carrot “egg” that I picked up at Hobby Lobby (I think)…

DSC_0512

While this treat basket is all about “spring,” it will be easy to switch up the color/theme for year-round fun!!

How to create this treat basket…

  • Cut 4 of the GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG from cardstock
  • Cut one 3 3/16″ square from same cardstock as tag
  • Score tags at 1″ from the top of the tag & 3/4″ from bottom
  • Adhere top end of tag to each side of square
  • Wrap with patterned paper and embellish
  • Optional: add a 1/2″ handle (mine started at 8.5″ in length and is adhered almost an inch in on each side)
  • Fill it up and give to a family member or friend

. . . . .

It’s time to get hoppin’ and see what the rest of the Crew came up with!

WEEK IN REVERSE

By Jen del Muro
on February 19, 2016
1 comment

Hello ‘Fetti Fans!

I don’t often share a lot of my personal life.  Mostly, I think you are here for the creative side of things and also because I am a private person by nature. I wanted to open up a little about me on this WEEK IN REVERSE.  I guess it’s somewhat therapeutic for me to write it all out, but also to let you all into my world and know that I am more than just stamping.

What a week it has been!  This week has been one of worst I can remember and I am hoping for a little sunshine to shine down on my little family sooner than later. Yes, we still have lots to be thankful for and I am…so very much! But, between the flu in our house (and we got our flu shots!), the plumbing going awry (and is going to be big bucks to fix) and various little things it’s been a week to forget, that’s for sure!

This week has been quite bittersweet, too.  On Friday we brought home a new puppy.  Meet Rocky…

Rocky

We got him through our local rescue, ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation)  They say he’s a mastiff mix.  One thing is for sure is that he is a total sweetie.  I plan to share more pictures of this cutie as he grows into his ginormous paws.

It been hard to give our hearts to him, though.  On the heels of bringing him home, we also found out that our 11 year old dog, Cooper, has cancer.  To say that our hearts are broken beyond repair is an understatement.  He was one of our babies before we even had babies.  He sleeps between us in bed and gets nervous when we cry…he’s been extra nervous the last few days.   We know we don’t have long with him and I am going to cherish every last cuddle and loving lick I can.  If you are the praying kind, please pray for him and my kids, as we are talking to them about it tonight.  Good vibes and virtual hugs accepted, too! Thank you!!

CONFETTI CAMERA

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Thursday!

We have a super cute Confetti Camera here for you today!

However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to forego birthdays and to “think outside the card.”  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

In the spotlight today is the incredibly talented and sweet, KAY MILLER

Kay

Hello! Kay here with the next installment of Confetti Camera! We are challenged this time to create something to celebrate, but not a birthday theme. So being as it’s getting close to Easter I chose to Celebrate Spring’s arrival and the upcoming Easter Holiday. I created two cute little Easter treat boxes to give my kids for Easter, featuring the new Hippity Hoppity stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts dies.

K1

I started by putting together two of the Tagged Totes boxes, one in blue and one in pink. I cut the arched piece that comes with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts die set out of some cute patterned paper to decorate the fronts. For the blue box with the boy bunny, I used the scalloped frame from Love Note Confetti Cuts and cut one out of white. I cut a coordinating piece of patterned paper out with the Class Act Confetti Cuts and glued that on. I adhered this to the box front with foam tape. For the pink girly box, I did the same, but used Circle N’ Scallops Confetti Cuts.

K3

K4

I then colored the two little bunnies with Copic markers, cut them out and adhered them to their bags with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out like a banner and adhered this along the bottom of each with foam tape. I added the little eggs and die cut some greenery with the Leafy Confetti Cuts to tuck in behind each of them. I then cut out four of the little bows from the Tagged Tote and glued two, slightly skewed, to the top of each bag.

K5

K6

I was so tickled at how cute these turned out. I can’t wait to fill them with Easter candy for the kids! My daughter’s going to love the box as much as what’s in it. My son, while he’ll appreciate that I went to the trouble, he’ll be all about the candy!

I have a couple of projects to share with you today featuring some of the new product that is now available.  There is a link list to the Confetti Crew just below my projects for all of the Confetti Crew and our February ‘Fetti Friend posting today.  The inspiration is contagious, let me tell you!

My first project today is 2 tags featuring the new HIPPITY HOPPITY stamp and Confetti Cuts die sets along with the new Hoppin’ Dots QUICK CARD PANELS and EDGERS Confetti Cuts…

1602_HH_08

These tags are cut using our TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set.  I then stamped, colored and layered the bunnies and their design elements atop a hill created with the new curved line EDGER Confetti Cuts.

The girl bunny card also features a cloud cut from the SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set and then stamped with the SO STRIPEY stamp set.  The sentiment is stamped with white pigment ink on the bottom edge…

For the boy bunny tag, I cut it from the new Hoppin’ Dots QUICK CARD PANELS.  I just love the “Hippity Hop Hop” saying on this one!

My other project for today features the new THE LORD’S STRENGTH stamp set, along with the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die set (re-released last month) and the WOODGRAIN and LEAFY Confetti Cuts die sets…

I don’t know that I could technically classify this under a “fun fold” type of card, but I did trim off about an inch on the right side of this card for a little added detail.  I love how it came out!

Hi ‘Fetti fans! I’m excited to share with you what I came up with for the newest Confetti Camera theme, “Celebrate Good Times”! Even though the obvious birthday theme is off limits, I was still need some little gifties for my kids’ school Valentine’s Day party. I’ve been a part of our school’s Booster Club for a while and have gotten in the habit of giving gifts to each of the students and teachers. So naturally, I found this Confetti Camera theme perfect for me! Here is what I came up with…

Valentine's Giftie Ensemble

I started by covering these little 2″ boxes with some patterned paper to dress them up. I filled each of them up with some candy (of course) and a mini chapstick. To decorate them, I layered on a large and small heart (created with the Heart to Heart stamp set and coordinating Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts die set), a die cut arrow (from the Arrow Confetti Cuts), and the circular sentiment (from the Crushin’ stamp set).

For the teacher gift, I used many of the same elements as the little boxes but added a fun little notebook paper layer as well (created with the Class Act stamp set and coordinating Class Act Confetti Cuts die set).

I created the cute tote bag with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts die set. I filled this one with candy, suckers, and some matching red pens!

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS

By Jen del Muro
on January 27, 2016

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Wednesday!

Today, we have a special WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS brought to you by Confetti Crew Member, Amy Sheffer.

What is Wednesday in the Works?

It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.

AmyS

Hi ‘Fetti Fans, it’s Amy here with a fun peek-a-boo tag for today’s Wednesday in the Works.

RCpeekabootag1-1

I started by filling a Frosted Pillow Box with some candy, then added a pretty tag that I die-cut with the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts. Because the tag is nearly as large as the box, I decided to cut a window into the tag so that the contents would show through. Here’s what I did:

RCpeekabootag1-2

  1. Die-cut two tags using the Thanks Tag die, one from patterned paper and one from acetate.

RCpeekabootag1-3

  1. Die-cut one Globe from white card stock.

RCpeekabootag1-4

  1. Use the Globe die to cut a circle window in the patterned paper tag.

RCpeekabootag1-5

  1. In-lay the white Globe into the circle window and adhere, using the acetate Thanks Tag die-cut as a backer.

RCpeekabootag1-6

  1. Add a Hang Ups tag topper using a coordinating piece of patterned paper and a metallic gold grommet die-cut.

RCpeekabootag1-7

  1. Embellish with Leafy die-cuts and a metallic gold Lovey Words sentiment.

RCpeekabootag1-8

  1. I wrapped my Pillow Box with a coordinating patterned paper, making sure to cut a Globe opening in it as well.

RCpeekabootag1-9

  1. Note: the 6×6 patterned paper is just a smidge short to fully wrap the pillow box, so I just added some sparkly gold washi tape at the seam to hide the gap.

Thanks for joining me for this week’s Wednesday in the Works!
