Hello and Happy Monday after a nice long holiday week, ‘Fetti Fans.

Call it a turkey hangover or just a loss of mojo, but I just couldn’t seem to get a card done for yesterday’s post featuring the December Sketch For You to Try.  You know those times when it doesn’t matter what colors or elements that you choose, it just doesn’t come together.  I think I mentioned it in my Confetti Camera post a little while ago that when I have these moments this best thing (in my opinion) to do is to just step away.  So I did.  And, when I came back…nothin’. I stepped and came back again and…nothin’.  Now, there are only so many times I can do this before I start getting a little down, so I decided to just sleep on it.  That seemed to do the trick.  I got up yesterday morning and put this card using LOTS TO SAY together in no time (pardon the overdone inner glow…long, boring Photoshop story there!)…

Detail shot of the main image panel, embossed with chevies to coordinate with the pattern paper.

If you missed yesterday’s post, here’s the sketch once more.  I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do with this one!  Get creative, fun and funky with those circles and make them your own!  Don’t forget to link your project, too!  Just click on the sketch graphic on the sidebar to get to the link list post.

TGIF ‘Fetti Fans!!

Just a reminder…

Next week, we will be taking time out of the office and studio to open our hearts to friends and family and to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.  We will be closed Monday through Friday of next week.  Limited shipping hours will resume on Saturday (11/30) and we will be back in the full swing of things the week following Thanksgiving.

. . . . .

It’s Friday and time for our WEEK IN REVERSE where we take a look back and see all the fun creative goodness that the Confetti Crew has come up with this week.

Savannah is always making me do a double take with her masking and mixing ‘n matching of stamps!

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Saturday posts aren’t a usual thing around here, but we are making an exception today for our…

We are so excited to bring you our very first color challenge today.  First, let’s go over some details…

  • There will be a new Color Challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 16th of each month.
  • The color link list will be open from the 16th until noon CST on the 29th. The color challenge will be posted in the sidebar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month’s challenge post with the link list during this time.
  • Just like the Sketch For You To Try, we are allowing “anything goes” until the end of the year. Note, that we will be adding the Reverse Confetti stamps only in January.
  • You may enter as many times as you wish.
  • There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of Color Challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of each month.

Now that you are in the know about the color challenge, here are November’s colors…

I love these colors together!  They are perfect for more masculine cards and they make for a fun fall color scheme.

For my card today, I used a combination of three sets: So Stripey, Whole Lotta Dots and Lots to Say.  These are three go-to sets for me, as they are fun and easy to use!

Of course, the Confetti Crew has cooked up lots more inspiration using these colors, too!  Click on their pics to see what they made.
