In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

. . . . .

We’ve introduced a lot of fabulous products to you this week and there is no doubt in my mind that you are going to go wild for this one, too…

TREAT TUBE TOPPER (with 6 Treat Tubes)

***This is a reverseconfetti.com EXCLUSIVE product***

TreatTubeTopperCCProductGraphic

TREAT TUBES

TreatTubesProductGraphic

I can say with a fair amount of certainty that every teacher, neighbor, hostess (ETC.) will be getting one (or more!) of these this holiday season and then again for *a few* other occasions beyond that.

Here’s how I used them for Halloween…

DSC_0984

These come together SO EASILY and you can make them as simple or as embellished as you want.  As you can see, I kept these pretty simple.  The black ones are cut out and adhered to the Treat Tubes and embellished with orange gingham ribbon.

DSC_0986

For the other one, I cut the TREAT TUBE TOPPER Confetti Cuts from TANGERINE CARDSTOCK and then used the new LOTSA DOTS STENCIL along with some glitter spray I had in my stash to create this simple, but gorgeous, pattern (along with some Mandarin SOLID TWINE)…

DSC_0989

. . . . .

Of course, these extend far beyond Halloween so I kept on creating and made these for Christmas.  Instead of using the TREAT TUBE TOPPER on both ends, I used it, well, as a TOPPER!

DSC_0044

Conveniently, the Lindt truffles match our ICED AQUA CARDSTOCK perfectly!  For these, embellished with red/white ribbon along with HOLLY Confetti Cuts from LIME GREEN CARDSTOCK

DSC_0052

The red TREAT TUBE TOPPER Confetti Cuts is stamped with one of the smaller flower centers from the new BLOOMS ‘N BUDS stamp set and then embellished with the new Charcoal Stripe TWINE and the same holly from the others.

. . . . .

You are going to SQUEAL with all of the creations from the Confetti Crew (and friends!) today!

CONFETTI CAMERA

By Jen del Muro
on April 21, 2016

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Thursday and time for another great CONFETTI CAMERA!

ConfettiCameraRCblog

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations!  However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to forego birthdays and to “think outside the card.”  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight today is our Kiwi pal, the very talented…Sarah Gough!

. . . . .

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, my thoughts turned to the gorgeous Rose Garden stamp set – and how great it would be to send a bouquet of roses that’ll last a little longer than real ones! With that thought in mind I made a card-in-a-box using lots of Confetti Cuts to create a garden of blooms celebrating Mother’s Day.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (1)

To create a box this size, I started with a 5×11″ piece of cardstock, scoring at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″ then again at 1.5″. Trim off a 1″ piece and set aside. Cut off the end of the cardstock (crosshatched in the photo) leaving a little tab and cut down the smaller scored lines to create flaps. Using the 1″ piece, create two or three inserts and adhere inside the box as shown (one of mine bent as I put it inside the box, this won’t matter in the long run). Your box will still fold flat, but will also stand upright with sections you can decorate with pop ups!

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (2)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (3)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (4)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (5)

Using thin strips of acetate and glue dots, I stamped and cut lots of roses and leaves from Rose Garden using the Rose Garden Confetti Cuts. Some are adhered directly to the thin strips of cardstock, others are “floating” on acetate. As I fill the box, I fold it down to see how the flowers will layer when the box is flat.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (7)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (8)

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (10)

I also used the Whole Lotta Happy stamp set, the Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts and added borders to the flaps with the Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts. I used the Leafy Confetti Cuts to add extra leaves and the Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts for some sparkly accents.

confetticameraSarahGoughBoxofRoses (6)

When it’s all finished the card-in-a-box should lay relatively flat for easy mailing!

In the spotlight today is the incredibly talented and sweet, KAY MILLER

Kay

Hello! Kay here with the next installment of Confetti Camera! We are challenged this time to create something to celebrate, but not a birthday theme. So being as it’s getting close to Easter I chose to Celebrate Spring’s arrival and the upcoming Easter Holiday. I created two cute little Easter treat boxes to give my kids for Easter, featuring the new Hippity Hoppity stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts dies.

K1

I started by putting together two of the Tagged Totes boxes, one in blue and one in pink. I cut the arched piece that comes with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts die set out of some cute patterned paper to decorate the fronts. For the blue box with the boy bunny, I used the scalloped frame from Love Note Confetti Cuts and cut one out of white. I cut a coordinating piece of patterned paper out with the Class Act Confetti Cuts and glued that on. I adhered this to the box front with foam tape. For the pink girly box, I did the same, but used Circle N’ Scallops Confetti Cuts.

K3

K4

I then colored the two little bunnies with Copic markers, cut them out and adhered them to their bags with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out like a banner and adhered this along the bottom of each with foam tape. I added the little eggs and die cut some greenery with the Leafy Confetti Cuts to tuck in behind each of them. I then cut out four of the little bows from the Tagged Tote and glued two, slightly skewed, to the top of each bag.

K5

K6

I was so tickled at how cute these turned out. I can’t wait to fill them with Easter candy for the kids! My daughter’s going to love the box as much as what’s in it. My son, while he’ll appreciate that I went to the trouble, he’ll be all about the candy!

I have a couple of projects to share with you today featuring some of the new product that is now available.  There is a link list to the Confetti Crew just below my projects for all of the Confetti Crew and our February ‘Fetti Friend posting today.  The inspiration is contagious, let me tell you!

My first project today is 2 tags featuring the new HIPPITY HOPPITY stamp and Confetti Cuts die sets along with the new Hoppin’ Dots QUICK CARD PANELS and EDGERS Confetti Cuts…

1602_HH_08

These tags are cut using our TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set.  I then stamped, colored and layered the bunnies and their design elements atop a hill created with the new curved line EDGER Confetti Cuts.

DSC_0012

The girl bunny card also features a cloud cut from the SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set and then stamped with the SO STRIPEY stamp set.  The sentiment is stamped with white pigment ink on the bottom edge…

DSC_0014

For the boy bunny tag, I cut it from the new Hoppin’ Dots QUICK CARD PANELS.  I just love the “Hippity Hop Hop” saying on this one!

DSC_0018

. . . . .

My other project for today features the new THE LORD’S STRENGTH stamp set, along with the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die set (re-released last month) and the WOODGRAIN and LEAFY Confetti Cuts die sets…

DSC_0215-Recovered

I don’t know that I could technically classify this under a “fun fold” type of card, but I did trim off about an inch on the right side of this card for a little added detail.  I love how it came out!

Aren’t they just the cutest!?  I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with them and creating Easter and Spring inspired projects like this one…

DSC_0242-Recovered

This lil’ guy is stamped and die cut and layered on top of the tag die found in the IN THE BAG Confetti Cuts die set.  I ran that tag through my Big Shot with the WOODGRAIN Confetti Cuts die to get the woodgrain debossing on it.  Behind the tag is the new “Hippity Hop Hop” QUICK CARD PANEL.  All of it is attached to a little box that I made quickly from a 12″ x 12″ piece of cardstock and the new EDGERS Confetti Cuts.

Here’s how I did it…

Cut a 12″ x 12″ sheet of cardstock to 9″ x 9″ and then score at 2.5″ and 3″ from each side.  Cut out and discard the corners as shown…

DSC_0227-Recovered

Using the EDGERS Confetti Cuts with the circle point on the edge, cut one side.  Note, I tucked the other flaps in to go through the Big Shot.

My second project using the new HIPPITY HOPPITY stamps and Confetti Cuts dies is inspired by a project that Confetti Crew member (and bestie extraordinaire) Susan Liles did last month.  You can see her project HERE.

Here’s my Easter/Spring take on it using these new products…

DSC_0165

I first cut out three MINI ENVIES from yellow cardstock and then layered a strip of the new green polka dot QUICK CARD PANEL along with a piece of pink striped patterned paper.  The bunny and carrot are popped up on top.

DSC_0186

I haven’t shown these to my daughter yet, but when I do I am sure that she is going to want to make a bunch more to pass out to her friends!

DSC_0181

. . . . .

We also have a new PRETTY PANEL that we are adding to the line up this month!

Introducing…

PRETTY PANELS: BOLD LINE

PrettyPanelsBoldLineCCProductGraphic

As a quick reminder, all of the PRETTY PANELS are made to work with the LOVE NOTE, STAMPED NOTE and CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die sets.  We love being able to give you more bang for your buck and have products that work together to give you more creative options!

I created this next set of cards using the new PRETTY PANELS: BOLD LINE along with several previously released products.  Again, showing how many of our products “play nice” together…

DSC_0135-Recovered

Each of these card uses a white card base and then a strip of cardstock set at a diagonal to complement the main image panel.  All of these cards also feature the STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts die set and CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set.

DSC_0138-Recovered

The word “love” is cut twice (red and white cardstock) with the LOVEY WORDS Confetti Cuts.  I then embellished the PRETTY PANELS: BOLD LINE with a heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set and leaves from the LEAFY Confetti Cuts die set.

DSC_0145-Recovered

This card also features hearts from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set and “THANKS” from the THANKS TAG Confetti Cuts die set.

The third and final card features the HELLO Confetti Cuts along with the sun from the SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set and, once again, a heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set…

Hi ‘Fetti fans! I’m excited to share with you what I came up with for the newest Confetti Camera theme, “Celebrate Good Times”! Even though the obvious birthday theme is off limits, I was still need some little gifties for my kids’ school Valentine’s Day party. I’ve been a part of our school’s Booster Club for a while and have gotten in the habit of giving gifts to each of the students and teachers. So naturally, I found this Confetti Camera theme perfect for me! Here is what I came up with…

Valentine's Giftie Ensemble

I started by covering these little 2″ boxes with some patterned paper to dress them up. I filled each of them up with some candy (of course) and a mini chapstick. To decorate them, I layered on a large and small heart (created with the Heart to Heart stamp set and coordinating Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts die set), a die cut arrow (from the Arrow Confetti Cuts), and the circular sentiment (from the Crushin’ stamp set).

Valentine's Giftie Ensemble4

Valentine's Giftie Ensemble3

Valentine's Giftie Ensemble5

For the teacher gift, I used many of the same elements as the little boxes but added a fun little notebook paper layer as well (created with the Class Act stamp set and coordinating Class Act Confetti Cuts die set).

I created the cute tote bag with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts die set. I filled this one with candy, suckers, and some matching red pens!

In the spotlight today is the wonderfully talented, SUSAN LILES…

Susan

Hi there, ‘Fetti Fans!  Today we are kicking off our first new Confetti Camera theme of 2016.  This time, the Confetti Crew will be working with the theme, “CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES”.  However, to make it a little more interesting, we are making the birthday theme off-limits, to help everyone think outside the box.  The celebrations can be “normal” stuff like wedding, baby shower, housewarming, etc., but you might also see things created for those wacky holidays like “National Donut Day, National Pie Day”, etc. throughout the coming months.  Sound like fun?  Here’s what I did:

IMG_2650

IMG_2653

My daughter, Audrie and I started brainstorming “other” celebrations and although today is National Kazoo Day (lol), we both decided on an “Championship Soccer Celebration” theme.  So of course, I had to use her team’s name and colors (Explosion FC and the pink/black color combo), hoping this will bring them good luck in their indoor soccer league championship game coming up!

IMG_2654

I started by gathering my supplies, cardstock and paper, knowing I wanted to make a little table decoration, water bottle, and Frosted Pillow Box party favor.  The tag card actually came later from my leftover scraps that I had already stamped and cut, so this will be a sweet card to give to our amazing coach!

IMG_2652

I stamped and die cut different elements that I thought would make for a good soccer theme, mostly using the WINNING stamp set and WINNING Confetti Cuts.  I used my Silhouette to quickly cut and make the soccer ball, and then just started putting things together and embellishing. The table decoration is just a round container wrapped in paper and the sticks are just straws.  Once again, having a premade “stash” of elements right at my fingertips made this project move along so quickly.  Any of these pieces to my ensemble would be very easy to recreate.

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS

By Jen del Muro
on January 27, 2016

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Wednesday!

Today, we have a special WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS brought to you by Confetti Crew Member, Amy Sheffer.

What is Wednesday in the Works?

It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.

AmyS

Hi ‘Fetti Fans, it’s Amy here with a fun peek-a-boo tag for today’s Wednesday in the Works.

RCpeekabootag1-1

I started by filling a Frosted Pillow Box with some candy, then added a pretty tag that I die-cut with the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts. Because the tag is nearly as large as the box, I decided to cut a window into the tag so that the contents would show through. Here’s what I did:

RCpeekabootag1-2

  1. Die-cut two tags using the Thanks Tag die, one from patterned paper and one from acetate.

RCpeekabootag1-3

  1. Die-cut one Globe from white card stock.

RCpeekabootag1-4

  1. Use the Globe die to cut a circle window in the patterned paper tag.

RCpeekabootag1-5

  1. In-lay the white Globe into the circle window and adhere, using the acetate Thanks Tag die-cut as a backer.

RCpeekabootag1-6

  1. Add a Hang Ups tag topper using a coordinating piece of patterned paper and a metallic gold grommet die-cut.

RCpeekabootag1-7

  1. Embellish with Leafy die-cuts and a metallic gold Lovey Words sentiment.

RCpeekabootag1-8

  1. I wrapped my Pillow Box with a coordinating patterned paper, making sure to cut a Globe opening in it as well.

  1. Note: the 6×6 patterned paper is just a smidge short to fully wrap the pillow box, so I just added some sparkly gold washi tape at the seam to hide the gap.

CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS: GIFT GIVING

By Jen del Muro

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to our second day of CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS!

Today, we are filling you up with inspirational GIFT GIVING ideas!

. . . . .

I think that we can all relate to food related gifts when it comes to the holidays.  I know that I seem to both give and receive plenty of them, and that is why I chose to do a food related item for our GIFT GIVING segment of CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS.

I love to bake and give cookies and breads and that is where this idea started.  However, I do have to admit that I ran a little short on time and had to actually buy the loaf of bread that is featured below.  It is “fresh baked,” just not by yours truly…

I wrapped the bread (baked at a local bakery) in parchment paper.  I had planned to tape down the edges of the parchment paper and simply put the wrap around it.  Well, I learned something…nothing sticks to parchment paper.  I tried 5 different tapes before throwing my hands in the air in need of having to coming up with plan B to keep the parchment paper actually on the bread.  This problem lead to a great (in my humble opinion) design solution…CAPPUCCINO TWINE wrapped around the the loaf of bread 3 times.  After the twine (and the parchment paper) were securely in place, I added the belly band…

The belly band consist of a few different pieces:

-a kraft strip of cardstock that is run through the paper crimper (again, yes, I still own one of those!)

-a cream strip of cardstock that is stamped repeatedly with the “Fresh Baked” sentiment from the new “WITH LOVE” stamp set

-a large wreath created from 2 cuts of the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set

-an embellishment consisting of the large heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set, a button tied off with CAPPUCCINO TWINE and jingle bells and the “with love” sentiment from the WITH LOVE stamp set

Whether you are baking or buying your bread/treats this year, this is a fun and easy way to dress up the packaging and make it more personal.

. . . . .

Of course, we have even more inspiration waiting for you!
