Hello ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Wednesday and time for WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS!

What is WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS? It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.

Today, Confetti Crew member SARAH GOUGH has a super fun card and video to share!

. . . . .

Sarah here, sharing how I like to color the trophy from the Winning stamp set with Copics. I’ll also show you the assembly of this patriotic looking card using SO STRIPEY, WINNING, WINNING Confetti Cuts and OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts!

For those of you that are new to Reverse Confetti, or if you haven’t participated before, here are the details that you want to know…

  • There will be a new Color Challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 16th of each month.

  • The color link list will be open from the 16th until noon CST on the 29th. The color challenge graphic will be posted in the sidebar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month’s challenge post with the link list during this time.

  • Reverse Confetti stamps are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!

  • You may enter as many times as you wish.

  • There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of Color Challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of this month.

Here’s my take on this regal combo…

This scrappy card is perfect for sending a sweet hello to a friend.

The gold cardstock is cut with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER die.  I love the glimmer of the gold, which I mirrored with the sequins.

The main panel consists of the rounded rectangle from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set, CHEVRON PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts and the heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.

Detail shot…

The “oh hello” sentiment from the ARROWS ‘N ELEMENTS set is stamped with white pigment ink on the navy panel.

One more shot of this card…

The Confetti Crew has come up with some spectacular inspiration using this palette!

Hello and Happy Sunday!

It’s time for the June Creative Blog Hop and you are going to LOVE what the Confetti Crew has come up with for this hop!

So, grab that cuppa joe, sit back and click on through this amazing hop featuring cards and much much more!  Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Comments are open until this Tuesday at noon and the winner will be announced on the Wednesday in the Works.  Happy hopping and good luck!

In case of a break in the hop or if you miss a hopper, there is a full list of participants at the end of this post.

. . . . .

One of the things I do when designing new products is keep the previously released products in mind. By doing so, I make sure that products are compatible with each other and it’s easy to mix ‘n match them.  I love to mix and match stamps and dies and that is just what I did on this fun and patriotic banner project…

So, how many Reverse Confetti products can you name on this project?  Two? Three??  How about SEVEN! It is so fun to be able to use products over and over and mix ‘n match to create new and unique projects!

LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts (Burlap Base and Large Heart)

TAG ME Confetti Cuts (Large Tag Cut From White Cardstock and Navy Cardstock)

OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts (Strip of Stars on Each Banner, Single Stars)

DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts (Used to Create Scallop Border on Navy Cardstock)

SO STRIPEY Stamp Set (Stripes on Navy Cardstock)

WHOLE LOTTA DOTS Stamp Set (Stamped on Red Cardstock)

LIGHTHEARTED LETTERS Stamp Set (Each Stamped Letter)

. . . . .

There is a whole lot of inspiration and great project ideas along this hop, so I won’t keep you here any longer.  Don’t forget to leave a comment on each stop along the way for a chance to win!
