Hello and Happy Saturday, ‘Fetti Fans!

As you know, it’s gotta be something special if I’m blogging on a Saturday!  Today, I have a few introductions to make (I love these posts!).  We have a new Confetti Crew member, a new Challenge Crew member and a new ‘Fetti Friend (guest designer).

. . . . .

First, I would like to take a moment to say thank you to Joni Andaya for being part of the Confetti Crew design team.  Due to personal reasons, she has sadly had to step down from her commitments to Reverse Confetti.  We wish her and her family nothing but the best.

Being that a spot was open on the Confetti Crew design team, we invited a huge ‘Fetti Fan and very talented designer.  Please welcome…

A little about Amy in her own words…

I have been a Reverse Confetti fan from the beginning and I’m so very thrilled to be part of the awesome Confetti Crew!   I started blogging in 2007, I love it all and wish there were more hours in the day. I’m a momma to 2 kids, my son is in his senior year of high school and my girl is in her 2nd year at the University of Washington. I’m engaged to Darin who is crafty too…he’s building an airplane so needless to say, when I order crafty stuff it pales in comparison to his airplane parts receipts. I have met so many fabulous people in this wonderful paper crafting community and can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t started my blog, Tsuruta Designs.

If you have followed Amy for any amount of time, you know that she is a big fan of coffee.  The Be a Barista set is right up her alley and I love how she used it with the Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts die…

Our next introduction is for the “rotating” spot on the Challenge Crew team.  Please welcome a previous ‘Fetti Friend and the perfect fit to the Challenge Crew…

A little about Tara in her own words…

Hi, I’m Tara (Tar-ah). I live in Ontario, Canada about a 45 minute drive from Toronto. I’m married to a great guy, Chris and we have two awesome kids, Hannah and Kieran and two cute cats, Liam and Kato! I work full-time outside the home as an American Sign Language/English interpreter for a large non-profit organization. I started out scrapbooking shortly after my son was born…about 13 years ago. Several years later I stumbled across cute stamped images that could be coloured  with Copic markers…I was totally hooked!!! Soon after that, I started a blog, Inking on the Edge, and became involved in the on-line paper-crafting community and I’ve been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to design and or teach for several local scrapbooking stores, popular stamp companies and challenge blogs! I LOVE the layered/embellished look usually with the addition of a “cute” stamped image. I spend all my free time getting inky, colouring up those cute stamped images with my Copics and die-cutting until my hearts content.

Tara used Rocky Raccoon, Love Note Confetti Cuts, Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts and Tag Me Confetti Cuts on this darling card using this month’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY

. . . . .

Last, but most certainly not least, I’d like to introduce you to our January/February ‘Fetti Friend.  Please welcome…

A little about Wendy in her own words…

Hello!  My name is Wendy Sue Anderson and I am so excited to be joining the talented crew here at Reverse Confetti!  I live in a little mountain valley in Utah – and I love scrapbooking and paper crafting. J  I have been married to my sweet husband, Brad, for 21 years and we have four amazing kiddos – one daughter, Meagan, and three sons, Josh, Seth, and Zach.  I have been very fortunate to be involved in the scrapbook industry for about 15 years and I have loved every minute of it.  I spend lots of late nights working at my craft table – and even though I lose oodles of sleep, it’s totally worth it and I wouldn’t want to give it up! I am looking forward sharing my projects using the fun & fresh products created by Reverse Confetti!  I’d love to invite you to stop by my blog, just me…and my little world, for a visit!

. . . . .

How’s that for some serious talent!?!  I’m sure you are just as excited as I am for what they will be creating with the new release that is just days away!  Join us for the sneak peeks that start on Tuesday!

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans!

Instead of Confetti Camera, today we are having a super fun hop with super fun prizes!

If you are looking for the start of the hop, you are in the right place!  There’s a full list of hoppers later in this post in case of any breaks.

(card by Confetti Crew member, Sarah Gough)

. . . . .

Today’s hop is all about our QUIRKY CUTIES line of stamps here at Reverse Confetti.

Originally, “Quirky Cuties” was going to be a single set.  However, I am a little indecisive and I just *love* how fun these cuties are, so I developed them into an entire line.  So far, we have four cuties…with more coming with each release.

Today, I am sharing a card I made with our very first cutie, FREIDA FOX.

Frieda is ton of fun to color, paper piece or just leave as line art!  It’s just one of the reasons that I adore this image (ok, well, I adore all of them).

I used my Copics to color her fur, flower and shoes and then I paper pieced her dress, scarf and heart.  Here is she is on circle panels cut from the new CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts.  I went with white on white for those panels so that Freida would stand out more.

Detail pic of Freida Fox and the heart topped with Diamond Glaze…

To embellish the card, I cut out the large heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set and topped it with a button tied off with green linen thread.  I also added a trio of colorful enamel dots to mimic the pattern paper.

Leave a comment here and at each stop along the way for a chance to win!

Two lucky hoppers will each win a COLOR CUBBIE from Studio 3 Solutions and their choice of 3 Quirky Cuties!

Comments will stay open through Sunday at 5pm CST and a winner will be announced on Monday right here on the Reverse Confetti blog.

The wonderful Tami McBeain of Studio 3 Solutions is your next stop on this fabulous and fun blog hop!

Hello ‘Fetti Fans!

Our July release is just around the corner!  The sneak peeks for the July 8th release have officially begun, or as we like to call them: the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!  For the next four days we will be sharing a bunch of inspiration featuring our FOUR new stamp stamps and SEVEN new CONFETTI CUTS.  Yes, SEVEN new Confetti Cuts.  We hear you loud and clear that you want MORE DIES and this release has great coordinating and stand-alone sets!

Just a note…all of our releases will happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month.  We will release new product every other month.  We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not.  Just remember, “Eight is Great!”

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion (starting at 9am EST today).  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on July 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Now it’s time to grab that cuppa joe, sit back and enjoy all the inspiration the Confetti Crew has for you today!

Cheeky Raccoon by Missysmom

I bet I have your attention now!  This picture made me giggle!

While raccoons can be quirky little rascals, they sure are cute, too!

And, that’s just why ROCKY RACCOON is the latest addition to our QUIRKY CUTIES line!

Rocky is a lot of fun to color and paper piece!   As I have mentioned before, even if you are not a colorista (that’s a word, right?) these images are a lot of fun to play with!

On this card, Rocky is front and center waving HELLO!  This card uses this month’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY.  (Click on the sidebar button for more details on how to play and win!)

Can you tell that I love dimension?

Our LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set has been very popular and I have developed a new line called PRETTY PANELS that are the perfect compliment to the large scallop rectangle included in that set.  On the card above, I used the PRETTY PANELS: DIAGONAL STRIPE Confetti Cuts backed with gray cardstock (cut from the rounded rectangle in the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts set) and layered it on top of the scallop rectangle from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.

The card below used the PRETTY PANELS: CHEVRON Confetti Cuts.

In addition to the PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts, we also are introducing a circle set called CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS.  This set contains FOUR dies: 2 scallop circles and 2 circles.  All of them have a debossed detail on the inside.  The card above uses 3 of the 4 dies in this set: the 2 circles layered under Rocky, as well as the sewn scallop circle at the top of the card containing the sentiment.

Black lines indicate cut lines and gray lines indicate deboss lines.

. . . . .

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on July 8th!

Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!
