Greetings and Happy Easter, ‘Fetti Fans!
It’s DAY ONE of our sneak peeks, or as we like to call them…THE COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI! On April 8th we are release 5 new stamp sets, 8 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new *limited edition* set of QUICK CARD PANELS!
Are you wondering why in the world we are starting our Countdown to Confetti on Easter Sunday? Well, we always kick off our sneak peeks on the 5th and since this is not a physical event we chose to go ahead and keep truckin’ along like we always do.

Just a note…all of our releases will happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month. We generally release new product every other month. This is a special release, as April is usually a non-release month for us. We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not. Just remember, “Eight is Great!”
. . . . .
Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!
In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion (starting at 9am EST today). After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic. One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on April 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.
. . . . .
Alright, ‘Fetti Fans, you know the drill…grab that cuppa, sit back and enjoy all the Confetti Creativity we have for you today!
. . . . .
Before I dive right into all the projects I have to share with you today, I just wanted to tell you a little bit about this special release. As you know, April is usually one of our non-release months. So, why have a release on a non-release month? At CHA in January I had so much fun seeing all the creativity, trends and spirit of this industry. There’s something about being surrounded by creative people, I guess! It really helped my ideas flow and pretty soon my sketchbook was overflowing for ideas for (a few) upcoming releases. So here we are, on Easter Sunday, kicking off a special Countdown to Confetti for our April release. A couple of the Confetti Crew Design Team members have hailed this as “the best release ever.” I hope you think so, too!
. . . . .
First, I’d like to introduce the new *limited edition*
Piña Colada QUICK CARD PANELS

QUICK CARD PANELS are limited edition premium heavyweight cardstock panels measuring 3.25″ x 4.5″. Each package contains 2 of each 8 printed design. They are designed for A2 card making, but you can easily use them on all of your paper crafting projects! We will have a new set of QUICK CARD PANELS with each release. Grab them while you can, because once they’re gone, they’re gone!
You’ll see the new limited edition QUICK CARD PANELS used on a variety of projects from the Confetti Crew. We can’t wait to see how you will use them on your creations!
. . . . .
One of prominent themes that I noticed at CHA this year was party and DIY fun! Lots of banners and decor ideas swirled in my head and soon these 2 new Confetti Cuts die sets were born…
TASSEL Confetti Cuts

LAYERED BANNER DUO Confetti Cuts

And then, I made this…

Detail shot of the TASSEL Confetti Cuts on each end…

The TASSEL Confetti Cuts die is best used with tissue paper. I took one sheet and folded it several times and then ran the die through my Big Shot. I then folded it over the piece of string the banner is strung on and “fluffed” it up. To secure it over the string, there is a piece of baker’s twine wrapped and tied around the top of the die cut (below where it is folded over string).
The LAYERED BANNER DUO features 2 different shapes of banners: rectangles and triangles. As the title of the set suggest, you can layer these. You can also use the smaller shape to cut out the center of the larger coordinating shape, creating a frame, like I did with the white panels here…

Also used on this banner are the previously released CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS and LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die sets. The letters are foam letter stickers.
. . . . .
Have you noticed that pineapples seem to be popping up everywhere these days? It’s a fresh and fun trend and I couldn’t resist turning them into stamps and Confetti Cuts dies!
Introducing…
PINEAPPLES APLENTY

and the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

My first card today features the new PINEAPPLES APLENTY stamp and Confetti Cuts die set, as well as the new Piña Colada QUICK CARD PANELS (and another Confetti Cuts die set that I will introduce in just a moment).

The PINEAPPLES APLENTY Confetti Cuts die set features a full pineapple and a separate crown for layering. Here’s a shot of the layered crown, along with the green flag ended panels cut from the new LAYERED BANNER DUO Confetti Cuts die set…

The pineapple QUICK CARD PANEL and kraft panels (stamped with WHOLE LOTTA DOTS) are both cut from the new…
SHAKERS ‘N FRAMES Confetti Cuts

I absolutely LOVE this Confetti Cuts die set. It’s great for layering, like I did here. And, as it’s name suggests, it’s perfect for making shakers and frames (I’ll get to that a little later in this post).
One last detail shot of this card…

. . . . .
My next card is a lot more clean and simple (CAS) and also features the new PINEAPPLES APLENTY stamp and dies…

The textured white layer was created using embossing paste and stencil. I’m kind of wishing that I would have thought to make my own on this card, too…more on that later in this post.
Again, I layered the crown. I also added twine and a sequin for a fun little added detail…

Here’s one more detail shot of this card. I just love this sentiment!

. . . . .
I am so stinkin’ excited about this release! Can you believe I even have a couple of more introductions for today!?!
First up is a great new addition to create awesome detail your paper crafting projects.
GEOMETRIC BACKGROUND Confetti Cuts

This Confetti Cuts die is smaller than A2 size making it perfect for layering. It’s also great on it’s own or as a stencil, as hinted to above.
To create a stencil from the GEOMETRIC BACKGROUND Confetti Cuts die, simply cut it from acetate and use with embossing paste. I used translucent embossing paste on a piece of pattern paper with my homemade GEOMETRIC BACKGROUND Confetti Cuts stencil here…

You’ll see how I used it on my card below…after a couple of more introductions!
Joining their puppy and birdie friends, I introduce to you…
LEAPING LIONS

Does it get any cuter? I love the lions in this set and you can really make them your own with the added tummy, face and tail detail stamps that are included.
And the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

Here’s my card using these cuties along with the paper shown above…

I really wish you could reach in your computer and touch this card!…lots of fun textures happening!
Here’s a shot of all the added details, including the banner and lion (check out the stripes and polka dots he’s “wearing”).

. . . . .
One last card and then I’m sending you on your way to see what the Confetti Crew did with all these new goodies being introduced today!
This card also features the new LEAPING LIONS stamp and Confetti Cuts dies. I’ve made a shaker using the new SHAKERS ‘N FRAMES Confetti Cuts die set. In addition, I have also used the scalloped rectangle banner, 2 of them actually, from the new LAYERED BANNER DUO as a panel…

For the pink banners above the lions, I cut out the banner from the LEAPING LIONS Confetti Cuts die set, but did not stamp the outline stamp on it. Instead, I just used the lined detail. I love the look of this!

Inside the shaker, I used the confetti that comes with in the SHAKERS ‘N FRAMES Confetti Cuts die set along with some itsy bitsy sequins.

. . . . .
That’s all I have for today, but all of the Confetti Crew and ‘Fetti Friends are sharing their creations with you, too.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!
And our super talented March & April ‘Fetti Friends…
