WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS

We have a wonderful VIDEO EDITION of WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS for you today!

Are you asking “what exactly is WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS?”  It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.

 . . . . .

Good morning! Heather here to share a fun dimensional Basketweave Background that I created with a Confetti Cut Cover Panel! Come watch the video below to see how it came together!

Here is a closer look at each card:

See that lovely texture?

I think this would be super fun to use different color cardstocks on as well! White is a classic simple look – but whether monochromatic, or in a rainbow of color – there are so many possibilities!

I used Vertical Stripes Cover Panel to create the background. The flowers are from Tall Blooms and die cut with the coordinating Tall Blooms Confetti Cuts. Sentiments from Simply Sentiments are heat embossed on circles of Lead Cardstock (sorry – in the video I said Smoke – ignore me!) that were die cut using Circles ‘n Scallops!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Greetings! Heather here today with a fun card using Reverse Confetti’s Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts with some beautiful pattern paper from the newest 6×6 Paper pad – Fun Times – to create a fun background on a card. Bonus: it’s also super flat and easy to mail!

Here is the video showing my process:

This was also a great way to use both the positive and negative die cuts, so almost no waste!

Gorgeous sentiment from Tall Blooms was stamped on an angle in the center to finish this easy card off!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hello! Heather here to share a little Window Bear Scene that I created on a recent card pairing up lots of Reverse Confetti pattern paper and Confetti Cuts – as well as some super cute stamps!

Here is the video showing my process:

Here is a closer look at the dimension on this little window scene:

The clean open white space around the scene helps it really pop – and keeps the mix of pattern paper from being too overwhelming.

The stamp sets I used on this were Honey Bear (with Coordinating Confetti Cuts) and Think Pink (with Coordinating Confetti Cuts). Confetti Cuts included Sealiously (for the clouds), Nuts About You (for the grass border), and Hello & Thanks Label (for the window). The two 6×6 pattern paper pads were Fun Times and Every Little Bit.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hello! Heather here to share with you a video tutorial for this bright, juicy, tropical card using the fun MAHALO stamp set, LEAF LATTICE Stencil, and a rainbow of Reverse Confetti Dye INKS! (named below)

Here is the video showing my process:

DISCLAIMER: My brain short-circuited the meaning of “mahalo” and confused it with “aloha” – so feel free to substitute a better sentiment if you wish!

I name them all in the video – but here are all the different INKS I used on this card: Dark Roast, Pistachio, Lime Green, Magenta, Wine, Bumblebee, Bellini, and Coral.

I love the way these bright colors all came together on this card – and the ombre effects on parts of the card by inking with two different colors, or using the older (but classic!) rock and roll technique!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

JUST MAKING A FEW CARDS FOR MY STASH | VIDEO

By Jen del Muro
on February 27, 2018

Hey, ‘Fetti Fans!

I started making some cards and then thought that I ought to record the process.  I needed a few “hello”/just because cards for my stash.  I grabbed a handful of Confetti Colors INKS, some scrap paper to stamp on and got to work.   The stamps used in on these cards are from the BLOOMS ‘N BUDS stamp set and I also used the HELLO Confetti Cuts die.  I apologize for the shadows in the video, but it was raining and there was hardly any natural light so I was stuck with the ceiling light.

A few stills of the cards (taken after it FINALLY stopped raining!)…

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to another VIDEO edition of WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS!

Today, Heather is showing how to use Confetti Cuts dies along with the Forever My Love 6×6 paper pad.

. . . . .

Good morning! Heather here to share with you a video tutorial for a card I made using lots of gorgeous Reverse Confetti pattern paper, and some Confetti Cuts without any stamps! I did some creative cutting and layering to make all the busy pattern papers work together on my card as well – her is the video showing how it came together:

I used the newest 6×6 paper pad – Forever My Love – for all my pattern paper.
The Thanks Square Confetti Cuts is SO fabulous for a quick thank you card! It makes a great statement all on it’s own!
And it was fun to stretch the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts to add a scallop border along the edge of the front panel as well.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hey, ‘Fetti Fans!

Getting into making videos was the plan for last year, but cancer got in the way and made me push pause on a few things, including that.  But, I’m back and better than ever and ready to give it a go.  So, here I am with my first video (yes, there are others from Confetti Crew members).  I know I need to change the orientation next time and I have a few things to learn, but here it is, a Quick 7 Easy Birthday card using our WITH LOVE stamps, ELEMENTAL STRIPES stamps and CONGRATULATIONS stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts dies…
