WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS

We have a wonderful VIDEO EDITION of WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS for you today!

Are you asking “what exactly is WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS?”  It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.

 . . . . .

Good morning! Heather here to share a fun dimensional Basketweave Background that I created with a Confetti Cut Cover Panel! Come watch the video below to see how it came together!

Here is a closer look at each card:

See that lovely texture?

I think this would be super fun to use different color cardstocks on as well! White is a classic simple look – but whether monochromatic, or in a rainbow of color – there are so many possibilities!

I used Vertical Stripes Cover Panel to create the background. The flowers are from Tall Blooms and die cut with the coordinating Tall Blooms Confetti Cuts. Sentiments from Simply Sentiments are heat embossed on circles of Lead Cardstock (sorry – in the video I said Smoke – ignore me!) that were die cut using Circles ‘n Scallops!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Greetings! Heather here today with a fun card using Reverse Confetti’s Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts with some beautiful pattern paper from the newest 6×6 Paper pad – Fun Times – to create a fun background on a card. Bonus: it’s also super flat and easy to mail!

Here is the video showing my process:

This was also a great way to use both the positive and negative die cuts, so almost no waste!

Gorgeous sentiment from Tall Blooms was stamped on an angle in the center to finish this easy card off!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hello! Heather here to share a little Window Bear Scene that I created on a recent card pairing up lots of Reverse Confetti pattern paper and Confetti Cuts – as well as some super cute stamps!

Here is the video showing my process:

Here is a closer look at the dimension on this little window scene:

The clean open white space around the scene helps it really pop – and keeps the mix of pattern paper from being too overwhelming.

The stamp sets I used on this were Honey Bear (with Coordinating Confetti Cuts) and Think Pink (with Coordinating Confetti Cuts). Confetti Cuts included Sealiously (for the clouds), Nuts About You (for the grass border), and Hello & Thanks Label (for the window). The two 6×6 pattern paper pads were Fun Times and Every Little Bit.

Good morning! Heather here to share a fun technique that I’m super excited about! It was one of those ideas that turns out different (but fortunately BETTER) than you were planning – I like to call them “happy accidents” – haha!
Here is the video showing my process:

Here is a closer look at each color combo – this first one uses Pistachio, Lime Green, and Avocado Dye Inks with Avocado Cardstock:

This second one uses Iced Aqua, Lagoon, and Navy Dye Inks with Navy Cardstock:

And the final one uses Piggy Bank, Magenta, and Wine Dye Inks paired up with Rose Cardstock:
Which one is your favorite color combo? Can you think of others that would be fun?

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

So, you know when you are a day ahead of yourself all week, your hubs is traveling, you get pulled in a million different directions and then you post a blog post on the wrong day?  No?  Just me?  Yep, I did that yesterday!  I posted the Confetti Camera post a day early instead of posting video Heather created for WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS using our GOODIE BOX Confetti Cuts dies and a perfect sentiment for the upcoming Easter holiday.

So, here we are on Thursday watching the Wednesday in the post video.  Sometimes I wonder who made me the boss around here LOL!

Enjoy the video!

Hello! Heather here to share with you a video tutorial for this bright, juicy, tropical card using the fun MAHALO stamp set, LEAF LATTICE Stencil, and a rainbow of Reverse Confetti Dye INKS! (named below)

Here is the video showing my process:

DISCLAIMER: My brain short-circuited the meaning of “mahalo” and confused it with “aloha” – so feel free to substitute a better sentiment if you wish!

I name them all in the video – but here are all the different INKS I used on this card: Dark Roast, Pistachio, Lime Green, Magenta, Wine, Bumblebee, Bellini, and Coral.

I love the way these bright colors all came together on this card – and the ombre effects on parts of the card by inking with two different colors, or using the older (but classic!) rock and roll technique!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today, Heather is showing how to use Confetti Cuts dies along with the Forever My Love 6×6 paper pad.

. . . . .

Good morning! Heather here to share with you a video tutorial for a card I made using lots of gorgeous Reverse Confetti pattern paper, and some Confetti Cuts without any stamps! I did some creative cutting and layering to make all the busy pattern papers work together on my card as well – her is the video showing how it came together:

I used the newest 6×6 paper pad – Forever My Love – for all my pattern paper.
The Thanks Square Confetti Cuts is SO fabulous for a quick thank you card! It makes a great statement all on it’s own!
And it was fun to stretch the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts to add a scallop border along the edge of the front panel as well.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
