Hello ‘Fetti Fans…

We’re super excited to be a part of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop both as a participant and a sponsor!

The theme for this one is Winter/Holiday and everyone is invited to play along!  All of the details for the hop, prizes and how you can join in the fun can be found HERE.

. . . . .

I had a lot of fun creating a card for this hop!

The base of the card is covered with kraft plaid paper (LOVEEE this stuff)!  I stitched around the edges to add a little bit of texture and I think it’s the perfect touch to this card.

From there I layered 2 large wreaths cut from the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set.  On top of wreath is a cup from the CAFFEINATED CUPS stamp set (cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set).  I colored it in ombre red, just like the red cups currently found at Starbucks.

I cut the cup sleeve from kraft paper and ran it through my paper crimper so that it would resemble a real sleeve.  On top of that is the word “joy” cut from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts.

For a finishing touch, I added gold hearts cut from the YOU ARE A STAR Confetti Cuts die set and topped them with gold sequins and gold rhinestones.

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to the third and final day of CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS!

Today is all about MEMORY KEEPING.  It’s not just scrapbook pages, but rather much more than that to get you inspired to create with your holiday photos.  You’ll find a full list of the Confetti Crew members posting today toward the end of this post.

. . . . .

As you know, I am a self-described “un-scrapbooker.”  This comes doing one scrapbook, my wedding album, and thinking that I needed much more instant gratification.  In short, that is how I got into card making.  However, I still love to play around with photos of my family and friends and create with them.  So, what’s an “un-scrapbooker” to do when they want to create with photos?

If the first thing that you are noticing is that there are no pictures, you’re right (LOL!).  I’ll be adding pictures from this year to this creation.

Basically, it’s a scrapbook layout with out the actual scrapBOOK.  Instead, I have added it to a frame that I picked up at my local Michaels.  I usually buy a few of these at a time so that I can have them on hand for my “un-scrapbooking.”

The two kraft panels are cut from the WOODGRAIN Confetti Cuts die.  While I will be adding pictures over these, I will leave the edges showing so that it appears as a wood frame…

The word “merry” is cut from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts die set and mounted on a piece of white cardstock.  The scalloped polka dot edge is cut from our DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die.  I did not completely adhere the border, as I curled the edges up for a little bit of detail and dimension.

Above the (to be) pictures is a wreath cut twice from the large wreath in the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set and is adorned with a heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set.  To top it all off, I embellished with a button tied off with CAPPUCCINO TWINE and jingle bells.  The wreath is only adhered to the project at the top so that I may easily add pictures…

. . . . .

Of course, there is a lot more to see today!

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to our second day of CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS!

Today, we are filling you up with inspirational GIFT GIVING ideas!

. . . . .

I think that we can all relate to food related gifts when it comes to the holidays.  I know that I seem to both give and receive plenty of them, and that is why I chose to do a food related item for our GIFT GIVING segment of CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS.

I love to bake and give cookies and breads and that is where this idea started.  However, I do have to admit that I ran a little short on time and had to actually buy the loaf of bread that is featured below.  It is “fresh baked,” just not by yours truly…

I wrapped the bread (baked at a local bakery) in parchment paper.  I had planned to tape down the edges of the parchment paper and simply put the wrap around it.  Well, I learned something…nothing sticks to parchment paper.  I tried 5 different tapes before throwing my hands in the air in need of having to coming up with plan B to keep the parchment paper actually on the bread.  This problem lead to a great (in my humble opinion) design solution…CAPPUCCINO TWINE wrapped around the the loaf of bread 3 times.  After the twine (and the parchment paper) were securely in place, I added the belly band…

The belly band consist of a few different pieces:

-a kraft strip of cardstock that is run through the paper crimper (again, yes, I still own one of those!)

-a cream strip of cardstock that is stamped repeatedly with the “Fresh Baked” sentiment from the new “WITH LOVE” stamp set

-a large wreath created from 2 cuts of the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set

-an embellishment consisting of the large heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set, a button tied off with CAPPUCCINO TWINE and jingle bells and the “with love” sentiment from the WITH LOVE stamp set

Whether you are baking or buying your bread/treats this year, this is a fun and easy way to dress up the packaging and make it more personal.

. . . . .

Of course, we have even more inspiration waiting for you!

Hello and welcome to DAY TWO of our HAPPY FALL-IDAYS event, ‘Fetti Fans!

I hope everyone enjoyed the first day of this special online showcase event that we are hosting this week!  I’ve had a blast making and sharing my projects, as has the rest of the Confetti Crew Design Team.  There are links to those posting towards the end of this post.

Today is all about Thanksgiving (and, my apologies for being a bit late for Canadian Thanksgiving!).

You are going to see some fabulous place settings and other projects (plus much more) from the Confetti Crew today, but I went in a slightly different direction with my project, a paper wreath…

Coming up with something for today was troubling me for a little white, but then while playing with some stuff on my desk (namely the STITCH FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set), a light bulb went off and this little wreath was born.

Here’s how I created this (it’s really quite simple!)…

I cut an “O” with 2 circles dies (I used my larger Spellbinders circles that I keep in my stash).

Then I cut out 20 of the flag ended panels from the STITCHED FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set.  I folded them over the “O,” starting at the bottom, then the top, then the sides and then filling in between.  I overlapped 4 of the cuts for a little added dimension, without it being too overpowering.

I noticed that the center did not look quite as “clean” as I would like, so I grabbed my large wreath from the new WREATHS Confetti Cuts and cut one from kraft (I didn’t pop out the centers) and then one from a woodgrain patterned paper and layered them on top of each other and then folded/”fluffed” up the sides on the top one…

It still needed a little something to decorate it and I grabbed the PUMPKIN PATCH stamp and Confetti Cuts, along with the LEAFY Confetti Cuts die set and stamped and layered.  I added a few enamel dots and “dew drops” for a bit of texture and detail to finish it off.

When it was all done and just sitting there, I wasn’t immediately sure how to present it.  A quick call to the bestie for a creative chat and I added a paper straw and popped it in a bunch of mums, making it the perfect hostess gift or centerpiece.

Of course, either of my kids would have loved to have it hanging on their door, too.  It was easy enough that I may just have them make their own!

. . . . .

As you know, there is A LOT more inspiration being shared today by the Confetti Crew.  Happy Fall-idays!

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to the first annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS!

What exactly is HAPPY FALL-IDAYS?

It’s an online showcase event where the Confetti Crew will be sharing multiple holiday projects (these go way beyond cards!) and providing a serious dose of Reverse Confetti and holiday inspiration!  The fall and winter holidays are upon us now, so we are making this a 3 day celebration of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas!

As the graphic below would suggest, we are kicking off HAPPY FALL-IDAYS with HALLOWEEN today.  Just below the graphic is a list of all of the Confetti Crew members that are sharing their projects today.  Be sure to scroll past, as I have a little something to share with you, as well!

. . . . .

I love paper crafting.  I love memory keeping projects. I don’t love scrapbooking.

So, what’s a girl to do?

Create paper crafting projects that contain pictures, making them memory keeping projects.

Are you wondering what I am talking about?  (Don’t worry, sometimes nobody knows).

Here’s what I mean…

I created this triptych (geesh, it’s been a LONG time since I made one of these!) and embellished and added pictures of my lil’ ones from last year’s Halloween.  Nic was a vampire (hence the un-living look) and Ellie was a pirate.

The entire project measures 9″ x 5.5″, with folds on 3″ and 6″.

For both Nic & Ellie’s panels, I started with a black and white piece of patterned paper and added a green border with the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die.  From there, I layered a gray large wreath cut from the *new* WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set, and a tag (THANKS TAG Confetti Cuts) topped with a picture of each kid.  For embellishments, I added the bows atop the tag, the flag ended sentiments (both from TOO CUTE TO SPOOK) and 3 white enamel flat backs…

The center panel is 3 pumpkins cut from the PUMPKIN PATCH Confetti Cuts die set that are each covered in orange glitter.  Each of the pumpkins is popped up on a glue dot for some added dimension.

In short, this is what I call memory keeping…a fun project that I can display year after year that contains picture of a fun family time.

I’ll be on Periscope later today  (I’ll post time on IG)  going over this project, along with some of my other favorite un-scrapbooking projects, too.  See you then!

First in today’s line-up is our brand new *limited edition* QUICK CARD PANELS

(this is an updated product image)

QUICK CARD PANELS are limited edition premium heavyweight cardstock panels measuring 3.25″ x 4.5″.  Each package contains 2 of each 8 printed design.  They are designed for A2 card making, but you can easily use them on all of your paper crafting projects!  We will have a new set of QUICK CARD PANELS with each release. Grab them while you can, because once they’re gone, they’re gone!

You’ll see the new limited edition QUICK CARD PANELS used on a variety of projects from the Confetti Crew.  We can’t wait to see how you will use them on your creations!

. . . . .

You asked, we listened.  More words like the FANCY WORDS Confetti Cuts!  (We love this font, too)!

WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts contains 4 seasonal words.  The size of these is larger than the similar FANCY WORDS Confetti Cuts die set, making it easy to make a big, bold statement on your holiday projects.

Of course, we had to come up with a coordinating stamp set for those fabulous WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts dies!  Introducing…

Mix and match these sentiments with the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts for lots and lots of great sayings on your projects!

. . . . .

My first project today uses the new WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts, the WINTER WORDS COORDINATES stamp set along with the new ‘Tis the Season QUICK CARD PANELS and a couple more of our new additions to the shop (squeeeeeal!).

(Note, we have noticed a switch in the Quick Card Panels and this panel and an updated Product Graphic has been added).

For this project, I cut the one of the ‘Tis the Season QUICK CARD PANELS with the (previously released) TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts die and then stamped the “bring on the” sentiment from the new WINTER WORDS COORDINATES stamp set to pair with the “merry” from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts (triple cut and layered for dimension).

The back side of the project…

Why would I show the back side?  It’s actually a detail shot of one of the new products we have in store! Introducing…

These pillow boxes are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and definitely take your gift card, treat and small giftie giving to the next level!  In addition, they are food safe, BPA free and recyclable!

One more detail shot of this super easy and cute project

Did you notice that sweet snowflake on the tag, too?

Yep, that’s another one of the new products being released on October 8th and it’s designed by our very own Confetti Crew member, Kay Miller!  Introducing…

Take a look at just a few of the options using this incredible Confetti Cuts die…

This absolutely fabulous LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts die set was inspired and designed based on Kay’s own beautiful clay ornaments that she has sold in her Etsy shop.  Here’s a look at one of those incredibly gorgeous ornaments created by Kay…

We’ve made it easy to make your own creations like this with paper, felt, cork, etc. with the LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts die set.  I love that everyone can create both smaller (like the one on the tag above), and larger ornate pieces very simply, like this…

I filled our FROSTED PILLOW BOX with red and green peppermints, added a belly band created from patterned paper and then topped it all with this beautiful felt ornament.

To make it an ornament, I simply added TWINE to the back (circle is cut from the die set)…

Are you wondering why it kind of looks like a sandwich on the bottom?  I added a sheet of cardstock in between the two layers of felt because my original intention/idea for this was for it to be a pin.  When I came up short searching for a pin back in my stash, I went ahead and made it into an ornament.

I added flatback pearls to this for a finishing touch.  I have to say that I LOVE how it turned out!

. . . . .

About that twine that I added to the back…

This is twine from The Twinery and I have had multiple colors in my stash for ages and I keep adding it to everything because it is such AWESOME quality 100% cotton twine.  As I kept reaching for it, I thought “I should just put this stuff in the Reverse Confetti store!”  So I did! I love being able to share great quality paper crafting items right along side all of the Reverse Confetti originals!

On October 8th we will be introducing ALL 16 COLORS (sold in 15 yard bundles)…

Solid_Cappuccino     Solid_Charcoal     Solid_Stone   Solid_Natural

Solid_Blossom   Solid_Strawberry_   Solid_Pink_Sorbet   Solid_Maraschino

Solid_Mandarin   Solid_Marigold   Solid_Honeydew   Solid_Peapod   Solid_Caribbean   Solid_Denim   Solid_Midnight_Blue   Solid_Lilac

. . . . .

My next project uses the twine, as well as one more Confetti Cuts die set that is releasing on October 8th.  Introducing…

This 5 piece Confetti Cuts die set features two sizes of holly leaves with stitched center line detail, as well as a base for 2 different styles of holly berries.

I keep reaching for this Confetti Cuts die set over and over, so be warned that you will see a lot of it on my holiday projects as it makes the most perfect seasonal embellishment!

Here’s a trio of tags that use the new WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts, WINTER WORD COORDINATES stamps along with the new HOLLY Confetti Cuts and Cappuccino SOLID BAKER’S TWINE

The tags are cut from THANKS TAG Confetti Cuts die set that was released last month.  This has definitely been a best seller and I am glad to see everyone enjoying it!

I cut the holly leaves from (Halloween!) patterned paper and then used white cardstock for the base and then added two of the solid berries and one of the berries that has the highlight cut.  The red sequin was the perfect bit of bling to set it all off!

One last shot of this trio that is going to make the most perfect additions to my gifties this year…

. . . . .

I have one final introduction for you today and I think you’re going to LOVE it!  I know I do and it’s going to be on my crafting desk for a long time to come!  Introducing…

This set of two wreaths is perfect for the upcoming holiday season, but the wonderful and unique thing about these wreaths is that they are not created from a typical leaf shape, but rather from hearts so you will find yourself reaching for this time and time again throughout the year.  I may just have to make a Halloween project with them, too!

Here, I paired the large wreath from the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set with the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts die set and the WINTER WORDS COORDINATES stamp set for a lovely trio of cards…

For these cards, I cut two of the word “peace” and layered them on top of each other for a little added dimension.  I also did this with the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die cuts and then slightly pulled up the edges.  Red sequins were a finishing touch that brought it all together…

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on OCTOBER 8th!

Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!
