. . . . .
We've saved our "critter" sets for last and I just love these new ones!  They are a bit of a departure from the furry friends that usually make an appearance on these sets, but they fit just perfectly into this summer release.  First up is a set that is sure to make a splash...
OCEANS OF LOVE
Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set...
Before I get to my card using this new set, I have another Confetti Cuts die to introduce to you.  This is definitely one of my favorite dies and I love the possibilities that are possible with it...
CIRCLE OF WAVES
This first card today combines the OCEANS OF LOVE stamps and dies along with the new CIRCLE OF WAVES...
I started with a card base created from PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock and then add a panel of RC AQUA cardstock.  From there, I popped up a panel that is cut with the new PEEKABOO Cover Panel.  I trimmed a 1/4" off each end to let the RC AQUA layer show through on the top and the bottom, in addition to through the popped up half circles.
On top of that panel is the CIRCLE OF WAVES panel that was created with RC AQUA, ICED AQUA, SUNSHINE and TANGERINE cardstocks.  The 2 aqua layers have multiple layers (3) to give them a little bit of dimension.
The images are watercolored with the Karin brushmarkers. I just love how bright and bold the colors of these markers are!
The sentiment is stamped in MIDNIGHT ink on PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock and placed under the sun and cloud that has multiple cardstock layers.  I added a few of my favorite sequins for a sparkly finishing touch.
. . . . .
We're down to our final 3 introductions of this summer release!  This might very well be one of my favorite critter sets of all time.  It's definitely top 3!  I love them all, but this one has really stolen my heart!
HUMMINGBIRD
Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set...
And, one more cover panel die that is part of this release...
STITCHED PINWHEEL COVER PANEL
This final card for today uses the HUMMINGBIRD stamps and dies paired with the STITCHED PINWHEEL Cover Panel Confetti Cuts...
I started this card with a base cut from CLOUD WHITE cardstock.  I cut the STITCHED PINWHEEL Cover Panel also from CLOUD WHITE cardstock.  As you can see, I did not use all the pieces that were cut from this die.  I eliminated the "frame" of the pinwheel and just used the stitched inner sections. I pushed these out all the way to the edges of the card, creating slightly bigger pieces in between them.
The flowers and the hummingbird are stamped in MIDNIGHT ink on CLOUD WHITE cardstock and are watercolored with Karin brushmarkers.  Again, I have to comment on the bright and bold colors of these markers.  I just love them!
My favorite part of this card has to be the hummingbird.  I wasn't quite sure what colors to use initially, so I pulled up a pic on Pinterest and was inspired the deep blues and greens with a tiny pop of purple.

There's lots more to see from our Confetti Crew and 'Fetti Friends.  We're giving away a $25 gift certificate to a lucky commenter.  So be sure to leave a little love along the way for a chance to win!
