Hello, 'Fetti Fam!  Here we are on DAY THREE of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!  Tonight at midnight EST, all of the new products will be available in store.  We have a few more introductions to share with you today and I have several projects that I can't wait to show you.  I've been a busy little bee in the craft room and I am working so diligently to get all the restock and sale orders out to you.

It is no secret that I love butterfly images and I strive to make each and every set unique and inspirational.  I came across a butterfly stained glass window fairly recently and had a little lightbulb moment and thought, "What if we did a stained glass look butterfly set?!"  I twirled that idea around in my head and then sent it off to the illustrator (you do know I can't draw, right? - lol!) and this is what we came up with...

STAINED GLASS BUTTERFLIES

Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set...
These butterflies were such a joy to color.  For these first two cards, I used Karin brushmarkers...
Both cards use similar design elements.  I used the new POINTED COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts die cut down as an accent on each card.  I like that it gives each card some detail and texture without taking away from the star of the show...the butterfly.  In addition, each has a sentiment cut from the HELLO & THANKS Word Duo Confetti Cuts die set.
On the orange butterfly card, I also took a cut from the SCALLOPED SQUARE Confetti Cuts and cut it down to frame the butterfly and the sentiment.
Each of the butterflies is accented with clear Nuvo drops.  Can you see the beautiful shine?  Also, sequins and rhinestones were added to bring it all together.
. . . . .
I think it was on day one that I eluded to there being a couple of sentiment sets.  I think you all will love this one...

BEST SENTIMENTS

What's super fun about this sentiment set is that there is a new tag Confetti Cuts die set that these sentiments will fit on...

THREE TAGS

I paired the new BEST SENTIMENTS, THREE TAGS and STAINED GLASS BUTTERFLIES to create this fun little giftie...
I started by creating a little gift bag using the (previously released) SCALLOPED BAG & TAGS CREATOR Confetti Cuts.  I also cut the tissue paper with it so that the edges had a pretty scalloped edge.  The bag is cut from BUTTERCUP cardstock and stamped with the new BACKGROUND BUILDER stamp set, also in Buttercup.  I had actually planned to use one of the other detail stamps on top of the bold stripe, but I really liked how clean it looked so I just rolled with the bold stripe.
The shaker tag is created from the (previously released) SCALLOP WINDOW TAG Confetti Cuts die set.  I added clear, white and yellow sequins for the shaker part of it.
The butterfly is colored with bright reds, yellows and oranges in Copic markers and simply glued to the top of the acetate on the tag.
The top portion of the tag has a sun cut from the OVER THE RAINBOW Confetti Cuts die set (which is now BACK IN STOCK!) from Bumblebee cardstock.  The tag, from the new THREE TAGS Confetti Cuts die set, has the sentiment from the new BEST SENTIMENTS stamp set stamped in BUMBLEBEE ink.

I told you I have been a busy little bee in the craft room!  With that said, I have one more project to show you before I send you on your way to see what the Crew has been up to!
This card really captures the "stained glass" look of the STAINED GLASS BUTTERFLIES stamp set.
I stamped the images in MIDNIGHT ink on PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers.  Using different shades of pinks and greens really made it look like stained glass (IMHO, at least).  The centers of the flowers have a little bit of Stickles applied to them.  I can't believe my Stickles haven't dried up. I've had them for years!
The sentiment is stamped on the lower right corner in MIDNIGHT ink.
. . . . .

That wraps it up for me, so I will send you on you way to see what the Confetti Crew has created to share with you today.  And, just as a reminder...all of these fabulous new goodies will be in store tonight at midnight EST.
