Hello ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Tuesday!

A quick update on how everything is going here on the relocation front…To sum it up, slow and well.  I feel like we are in a hurry up and wait pattern and I know that this will continue for the next several of weeks.  Because this is a relocation, there are movers coming to pack us up just days before our world belongings are loaded up into a truck and whisked away to Houston (Cypress, to be exact).  Having moved many times, I feel like I have the packing process down and this time I am told to sit tight and they will do everything for me.  Let’s just say that the OCD side of me is going into overdrive just a bit!  The inspection on the house in Cypress is today.  Crossing my fingers we didn’t pick a lemon!  The inspection on our current home went well (YAY) and now I just need to keep the kids from causing any damage, etc.

Because things are so hectic here, I had to wave the white flag and call in reinforcements.  I’d love to say that we have family close by that will come get the kids when things get crazy, but we don’t.  I have great friends and neighbors that are helping out where they can I am so incredibly thankful to have them in our lives and for their assistance.  My “other” family is the design team (I seriously LOVE them) and they are coming to my aid and will be taking over a few posts here and there on the Reverse Confetti blog.  Don’t worry, I’m not falling off the face of the earth.  I’m working behind the scenes to get everything prepped and ready for both the big move and our biggest release yet on MARCH 8th!

Well since it is Tuesday that means it’s TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY!  I love this month’s colors for the February Color Challenge (click on graphic on sidebar for all details) and created this card using the cranberry, light blue and gray color palette along with the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts and LOTS TO SAY stamp set to create this clean and simple card…

AlwaysAndForeverCard

This card came together very easily.  I started by cutting out the scalloped rectangle from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts and then cut out the large heart (also from LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts) from the center.  I used a solid strip of cranberry and light blue cardstock, as well as a piece of gray (w/ hearts) pattern paper to bring in the colors from the challenge.  While I was playing around with this panel, I thought that bringing in the neutral, kraft, would make the colors pop and did so by adding linen thread tied off with a wooden button and the kraft panel at the bottom (stamped with a sentiment from LOTS TO SAY).  I rounded the bottom corner to tie in with the softer lines of the scalloped panel.
