Howdy, Howdy!
Did you kick off your week right? I sure did! Cuddles with the kiddos, crafty time in the studio and dinner with my bestie (the Reverse Confetti Design Team Coordinator), Susan Liles at our favorite place Tacos and Avocados, (comically known for its initials, tastefully known for its brisket tacos and delish guacamole). I am so beyond excited for what is up ahead for Reverse Confetti!! Be prepared to be blown away!

It’s TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY and I’ve been in the mood to play with INNER ROCK STAR from our last release. It’s such a fun set that can be used for gals and guys, young and old. I went with a more masculine color palette for this card, but switching the orange to pink (or even just adding some pink) would quickly and easily make it a little more girly…
There’s no doubt that I am a pattern paper junkie, but I also love going back to my “roots” of stamping and creating my own pattern paper like I did here with the orange and aqua star panels. In addition to our background sets, the Reverse Confetti image sets have a smaller stamp and/or border stamp that can be used in this way. I really think that it is important to be able to get the maximum use from a set of stamps and this is one way that we are able to do that.
The star panels are complimented with the star punches that also add a pop of color. Even though this card has a more masculine color palette, I had to bring in a little bling to make it “pretty.” In addition to being a pattern paper junkie, I have a thing for all things sparkly and over the years have procured just about every color of bling, including these dark gray rhinestones.
