Hello and Happy Tuesday!

I write this as we just found out that we lost out on our first choice house in Katy, TX.  After a very long crazy house hunting weekend, we finally found “the one.”  After putting our best foot forward, we found out that we weren’t “the one” and we were just one of ELEVEN offers submitted within a 2 day period.  Lucky for the seller, I suppose.  I will now be able to relate to the tears of those people on HGTV…except, they always seem to be the winner in the end.  The good news is that we did find a different house that is a wonderful fit for our family and they accepted our offer.  Houston…here we come (in a few weeks)!

Thank you to everyone that hopped with us over the weekend!  Announcing the winner (randomly taken from Stacey’s blog post)…

It’s Tuesday and TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY!  I’ve been a little bit of a time crunch lately and I love how quickly and simply this card came together…

YouveGotMail

I started off by using a white base and adding (Crate Paper) pattern paper panel.  From there is was just a little bit of stamping and embellishing.  I overlapped two of the sentiments from the CRUSHIN’ set.  The black scallop panel was created using the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts (large scallop side used).  The banner from TAG ME Confetti Cuts was cut from bright pink cardstock and stamped with hearts from WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS in VersaMark.  I topped it off with an ARROW Confetti Cuts die cut and large heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts set.  I love the texture that the cork gives this card!  You know me and that I love some bling…black rhinestones with enamel dots were my finishing touch.

Do you have your Valentine’s projects completed?  Better get crackin’!  Cupid’s arrow hits on Friday!
