Hello! I hope you are having a wonderful summer.  For today's project, I am using Hippo Pool Party along with Sparkle & Shine Sentiments stamp set.   The Sparkle & Shine Sentiments is a Christmas holiday sentiment set but I thought it went well with my card  - 'tis the season for the beach!


To create my beach scene I used the new Large Rainbow Circle Confetti Cuts and created a beach scene with yellow, white, dark aqua, light aqua and sand cardstock.   I used a smaller die cut circle to layer the different cardstocks and the negative space from the Large Rainbow Circle Confetti Cuts and pieced in each of the pieces.  I then added this to the Center Circle Cover Panel.   I backed this panel with some aqua cardstock that had been stamped with the circle stamp with the Dot to Dot stamp set.  

I stamped the images out from Hippo Pool Party and die cut out with the Hippo Party Confetti Cuts.  I also add a little shell from the Let's Shellabrate stamp set.   I colored with my Copics and used the follow markers: 

Hippo: W00, W0, W1, W2, W3, R32, R22, R24, R27, R29

Bag: E30, E31, E33, E34, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, BG10, BG11, BG02, R24

Beach Ball: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, C1, C0

Shell: YR00, YR01

Umbrella: BG000, BG00, BG13, BG18, BG49
