Hello Fetti Fans! It's Lisa with you today sharing a quick way to use up any water colored backgrounds you have sitting around. I used the fabulous Lily of the Valley stamp set.

I had created some ink smooshed backgrounds a while back with one of my favorite color combos of distress inks-Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, and a touch of Candied Apple. I didn't love how the backgrounds turned out when I made them, so I set them aside. I didn't want them to go to waste, and then I remembered how die cutting can totally change the feel of them. SO, I stamped the floral image in the vase three times with Midnight ink and then used the matching Lily of the Valley Confetti Cuts to cut them out. Mission accomplished....I LOVED it!

Grouping them all together really makes a statement. I added some dimension behind them with some foam dots. Placing them on a Premium Polar White card base really keeps the images crisp and clean. I tucked in some sequins for a touch of sparkle.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, Lily of the Valley. I stamped it onto a stip of the same water colored background I used for the floral images and then trimmed it down to size.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you're inspired to stamp and die cut your line art images on a watercolored background. It is quick and easy and a great way to use up a background you didn't quite love at first sight.
Happy Stamping!
