Good morning! Heather here this morning with a new edition of Wednesday in the Works! Today I'm sharing 3 different ways to add a gold dipped effect to your word die cuts - and none of them require a hot foiling option or laminator! Super easy! I'm pairing up the Party & Celebrate Confetti Cuts with Word Up stamp set to create my trio of birthday cards.

Here is the video sharing the full process:

Each of these styles has a slightly different look and effect - I can't quite choose which one is my favorite actually!

This first one uses the newer Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo - it works with the pressure of your die cut machine instead of heat to add your foiling. I love the rough edge you get with this design!

Next up, the same foil, but this time applied to some wide and sturdy adhesive tape. I used Scor Tape which works great to grab the foil and hold it in place. This has a nice crisp straight line which is super fun as well!

And finally, maybe you want to add that bit of gold, but you don't have any foil on hand? Well, as long as you have a clear embossing ink pad and some gold embossing powder, you can easily pull this design off!

I mounted the letters on foam adhesive, using the negatives of the die cuts to make sure everything was lined up perfectly, then added tone on tone sentiments with Word Up stamp set.

Finished off with some white splatters - masking off the sentiments so that I didn't mess them up with the splatters. And there you have it - an fun trio of birthday or celebration cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by today - have a wonderful day!!!
