Hello crafty friends! Lien here with a simple Christmas card showcasing a combination of new and old products! Make sure to watch the video for the full tutorial!

For this card I used one of the beautiful images from the Yuletide Mice stamp set. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it in with my Ohuhu markers (you can watch the coloring process in the video below) and stamped it again with Versafine Onyx Black ink so I could add some embossing powder to the outline and make it nice and glossy.

I then took a piece of light blue cardstock and blended some darker blue inks on top, darkening up the edges and keeping the center light, this will help to draw attention to our focal image. To finish the background I wanted to add silver embossed splatter, this is really easy to do, just mix glue with a little bit of water, splatter it on, sprinkle on the embossing powder and heatset it. Stunning embossed splatter. But my ink blending wasn't dry yet, so the embossing stuck to the entire background. A great happy accident because it gave my background that beautiful look of a frosty window in the winter.

I die cut the gorgeous new Joy To The World confetti cut from my background and three more times out of thick white cardstock. I layered those pieces together and also saved all the small negative space pieces that were cut out. I did some die cut inlay on top of my cardbase, added the mouse with foam tape and finished the card off with some silver gems.
