Hi, friends! It's Andrea back with you today, and I have a fun, shaped Valentine's card to share with you. With All My Heart card by Andrea Shell | Huggable stamp by Reverse Confetti I just adore the Large Circle of Hearts Confetti Cuts and decided to use it to create a shaped cardbase. After creating a top-folding card, I placed the die along the top, allowing the die to extend beyond the fold so as not to cut it. I then used the partial diecutting technique to cut my cardbase. I trimmed off the excess with my paper trimmer to create the straight edge. My diecutting machine didn't cut completely through both layers (I used 110 lb cardstock), so I used an Xacto knife to weed the bottom layer. With All My Heart card by Andrea Shell | Huggable stamp by Reverse Confetti I diecut light pink cardstock with the gorgeous Stitched Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I love how this die creates so much interest and texture, allowing you to create a fabulous background with little effort or time! I adhered the daisy panel to my card and affixed a dark pink circle on top. I trimmed a portion from the bottom of the card so that the card's overall height measured 5 1/2". I diecut red, glittery hearts with the small heart die included with the Large Circle of Hearts Confetti Cuts and glued them to my card. With All My Heart card by Andrea Shell | Huggable stamp by Reverse Confetti That adorable mouse is from the Huggable set. I colored him with Copics, fussy-cut him, and popped him up with foam circles. I stamped a sentiment from the Valentine Sentiments set, trimmed it into a banner, and adhered it beneath the mouse. I stamped a supporting sentiment from the Big Heart Sentiments set and diecut it with the coordinating dies. I popped that up onto a heart created with the Lovely Tag Confetti Cuts, added a twiddle of silver thread, and finished with a red clay heart. Thanks for stopping by!
