Today, we are sharing 2 new stamp sets along with some great Confetti Cuts dies.  Of course, the other new goodies are in play today, too!

Don’t you love a good punny set?  Introducing…

FOODIE FUN

And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

Before I get to my first project, I’d like to introduce another Confetti Cuts die set…

XOXO HEARTS

Oh my goodness, I keep reaching for this die set!!

. . . . .

My first project today features these 3 new products…

Each card measures 4.25″ square.  As I have mentioned before, this is a great size for a square card as it will still fit into an A2 size envelope.  The panel atop the card base measures 4″ square.  I started out creating a one layer card, but quickly realized that using the 4″ panel looked a lot better here.

Each of the cards features the same basic “formula” with the punny food image, heart and “xoxo” die cut.  I also added a strip of paper from the new TRUE LOVE 6×6 paper pad.

For this card, I added the holes by using the EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts die set and then added the 3 white enamel dots for a little more texture…

For the “You’re the Jam” card, I used sequins as an embellishment and put the patterned paper strip on the left side of the card…

And, last but not least…

. . . . .

Need the perfect Valentine’s sentiment?  Well, look no further!  Introducing…

CRAZY ABOUT YOU

It pairs very well with the new…

HEART BANNERS

Here’s a card that I created using both of these new products, along with the new TRUE LOVE 6×6 paper pad…

The HEART BANNERS Confetti Cuts die set features 4 banner pieces that can be layered or used on their own.  I chose to layer them here using the new SALSA and FLAMINGO cardstock.

Close up of the banner strung on Cappuccino TWINE

. . . . .

Before I get to my next card, let me introduce the latest stencil in our collection…

HEARTS STENCIL

Using my blending tool, I used ROSE ink over the stencil to create the background on this card…

The sentiment is from the new CRAZY ABOUT YOU stamp set and is stamped on a flag from the STITCHED FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set.  I embellished with the hearts and “xoxo” from the new XOXO HEARTS Confetti Cuts die set…

. . . . .

You’ve gotta see what the Confetti Crew has come up with using these fun new products.  You may even see a couple more new products along the way, too!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way to have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

Hello and Happy Saturday, ‘Fetti Fans,  Welcome to DAY TWO of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!  If you missed DAY ONE, be sure to scroll down so that you don’t miss a thing!

We’re partying all weekend long here at Reverse Confetti…and by party, we mean showing off the new goodies that are releasing on August 8th at midnight EST.  This month we are releasing 7 new stamp sets and 12 new Confetti Cuts.

Here’s what’s happening the next few days…

. . . . .

Alright, ‘Fetti Fans…let’s do this!

I usually introduce a stamp set and then introduce the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set, but today I’m going to switched it up and first introduce…

JAM JAR

JamJarCC_ProductGraphic

Which coordinates with the new stamp set…

IN A JAM

InAJam_ProductGraphic

These labels fit inside the JAM JAR Confetti Cuts oval, making creating a super sweet project so easy and fun!

My first project of the day is a kraft bag that I picked up at my local scrapbook store filled with thumbprint cookies (thanks, Pepperidge Farm!)…

DSC_0756

As you can see, I’ve easily embellished this bag with a doily folded over the top and a new BIG STRIPES TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts topped with a “thanks so BERRY much” jar tied off with Cappuccino TWINE.

Detail shot…

. . . . .

My next project today is a card that features the new JAM JAR Confetti Cuts and IN A JAM stamp set, along with the new ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts that I introduced yesterday…

DSC_0595

For this card, I layered one of the middle sized frames from the ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts die set with patterned paper and then topped it off with a “You’re Cherry Sweet” jam jar.  Behind the jar I layered a flag ended panel that I ran through the crimper and topped with silver brads.

Detail shot…

. . . . .

The next stamp set we are revealing is filled with beautiful sentiments for those times when you need all the right words.  Introducing…

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

ForeverInOurHearts_ProductGraphic

. . . . .

My first card today features somewhat of the same layout as the IN A JAM/JAM JAR card above, but with a totally different look and feel (don’t you just love how you can do that with Reverse Confetti stamps and dies?)…

DSC_0634

Again, I layered on of the middle sized frames with patterned paper.  From there, I added the vellum cut from the SWIRLIES Confetti Cuts die set and green and aqua leaves cut from the LEAFY Confetti Cuts die set.  I stamped the sentiment in navy, flag ended the left side and simply tucked it under the frame.

Right here is where I would normally put a detail shot, but someway somehow I managed to not get a detail shot AND send this card off to a store before I realized it.  **oops**

And, for the record…this may just be my new go-to layout.

. . . . .

For our last release I made prayer cards and I had stamped a ton of flowers for them.  I had several of these flower left over just sitting in corner of my desk practically screaming to come out and play with the FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS stamp set.  I think they paired perfectly with this sentiment and ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts frame…

There is SO MUCH more Confetti Creativity to share with you as we continue the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI for our August 8th release!  Check it out!…

CONFETTI CAMERA

Hey, Fetti Fans!  It’s Thursday and time for Confetti Camera!

ConfettiCameraRCblog

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations!  However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to use black, white and ONE other color.  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

Up in the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, Audrey Tokach

Hi ‘Fetti Fans!  It’s my turn on Confetti Camera!!  I was so excited to hear about the new theme for Confetti Camera!  It’s no secret that I LOVE color, but there is something just as fun about the black and white color combination!  I think that while it is bold and graphic, it also is great for showing off your color focal point!  I really love stripes, and black and white stripes are my favorite, so of course, I had to use them in my project today!

Confetti Camera_july

I started off my card with a white card base.  Using the Big Stripes Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, I die cut my striped panel from black card stock, and adhered that to the card base with a glue pen.

For my focal point, I used the Bear Hugs stamp set and colored in the adorable single koala image with my warm grey copic markers.  For my pop of color, I colored his ears and flower with shades of coral pink.  Using the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts, I die cut the pinked circle from black card stock, and the pierced circle from the set from patterned paper.  I adhered the two together with a glue pen, and the adhered them over the circle opening in the Big Stripes Cover Panel using foam tape.  Then I adhered the koala with more foam tape.

Confetti Camera_July2

For my sentiment, I used the “thanks” banner image from the Bitty Banners stamp set, which I stamped in black ink and die cut with the coordinating Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts dies.  Then I used the larger banner die in the set to die cut a banner from coral card stock, and glued the two together with a glue pen before popping them up on the card front using foam tape.

Office Open + Confetti Camera

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

The office is now back open after a fun and much needed road trip to visit some girlfriends in my old Houston area neighborhood.  Nothing like some girl time, chocolate sundaes and wine to refresh the soul!

It’s back to work today and we will be busy lil’ bees getting the orders placed over the last few days out the door and answering emails, too.  Also, there were *a few* boxes of stamps that we will be putting back into inventory today.  If you’re on a wait list, keep your eye out for the notification email…soon, very soon!

Hello ‘Fetti Fans, what a great theme we have for this round of Confetti Camera: Black, White + One Other Color! I chose black, white, and gold — I just love the elegance of that combo, don’t you?

RCconfetticamera063016-1

I started by stamping one of the pineapple bottoms from Pineapples A Plenty and heat embossing it in gold. Next I die-cut the image with the coordinating Pineapples A Plenty Confetti Cuts die. I finished the pineapple by stamping the top in black, once on the original die-cut and a second time on a top-only die-cut, which I then popped up over the first one using foam tape.

RCconfetticamera063016-2

RCconfetticamera063016-3

I placed the pineapple onto a panel of vellum that I spritzed with both gold and clear shimmer mist. The vellum is secured to the black and white striped panel with some adhesive behind the pineapple. I also tied some gold cord around both the striped paper and the vellum to help hold the two layers together. For a final touch, I used a gold ink pad to ink just a thin gold border around the perimeter of the striped panel. Everything is mounted onto a top-fold white card base with foam tape.

RCconfetticamera063016-4

Tip: Vellum is a wonderful component to add to monochromatic cards. Because of its translucency, the vellum creates another shade of whatever color it is placed on. Tearing the vellum, spritzing it, or heat embossing onto it just adds that much more interest!

Hi ‘Fetti Fans, welcome to another round of Confetti Camera!  I was excited to create a card using just black, white and one other color.  I had black, white and YELLOW on my brain, so that’s what I stuck with. I tried to wear those colors the other day, but my kids thought I looked like a bumblebee.  I quickly changed clothes. This was my chance to finally use those colors!

IMG_3937

I’m usually not a “clean and simple” kind of girl, but I kept this card that way, resisting the urge to add “just a little more”.  I stamped around the edges of a piece of white cardstock (the same size as my card base) with the SO STRIPEY stamp set and then topped it off with a white piece a little smaller to create the striped edge around my card.

IMG_3938

I cut a black circle from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts set and embellished it with the bright yellow HELLO Confetti Cut.  I added it to the card using pop dots and then centered the “friend” right below it from the FANCY WORDS Confetti Cuts.

IMG_3939

IMG_3936

One thing about this being so sweet and simple, is that it makes it super easy to duplicate!  How fun would it be to create a set of them and just change the “hello” color!?!?!  What a cute gift set that would be!
