Confetti Camera

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans!

Jen here and I am excited to be back from CHA with a renewed creative energy that will sure translate into more wonderful things for Reverse Confetti.  We have been working tirelessly to get all of the orders from the release out the door.  Keep an eye on those mailboxes, as your new RC goodies should be there very soon…if not already!

This is the final day for this round of Confetti Camera.  A new round begins in just a couple of weeks.  We hope that you have enjoyed the “Set ’em Up” projects that the fabulous Confetti Crew designers have shared with you.

ConfettiCameraRCblog

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round each of our designers will be coming up with a SET of something. You’ll see gift sets, card sets, pocket scrapping sets and much more this time around.

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight today is the lovely and talented, Heather Pulvirenti…

Heather

Hi ‘Fetti Fans! Heather P. here today with my take on the “Set ’em Up” theme.  For my project today, I’ve created two mini-sets of Project Life cards using most of the items from January’s release, as well as some of my favorite go-to dies from prior releases.

011416

To create my cards, I started by die cutting all of the QCPs from both sets with the large rectangle die from the Documented Confetti Cuts.  Once that was done, I started cutting the elements to use on the first set of cards:

Purple Card – heart strip from Love Note Confetti Cuts, die cut sentiment from Lovey Words Confetti Cuts

Gray Card – penguin, hearts and sentiment from S’more Love and S’more Love Confetti Cuts, white frame from Stamped Note Confetti Cuts

011416CU1

Teal Card – solid heart from Love Note Confetti Cuts, outline heart from Stamped Note Confetti Cuts, stamped sentiment from Lovey Words Coordinates, die cut sentiment from Lovey Words Confetti Cuts, scallop border from Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts

The penguin, hat and hearts were first stamped in Versafine ink onto watercolor card stock, then heat set with clear embossing powder.  I then colored the images with watercolor markers and set them aside to dry.  While I was waiting for the images to dry, I assembled the first set of cards as shown.  Once the images were dry, they were cut out with their coordinating Confetti Cuts and attached to the gray card front.

I then die cut the elements to use on the second set of cards:

Orange Card – frame from Love Note Confetti Cuts, die cut sentiment from Lovey Word Confetti Cuts, heart from Stamped Note Confetti CutsDiagonal Stripe Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts

Pink Card – penguin, fire and marshmallow from S’more Love and S’more Love Confetti CutsHeart Tag Toppers Confetti CutsStraight Stripes Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts

The penguin, hat, marshmallow and fire were first stamped in Versafine ink onto watercolor card stock, then heat set with clear embossing powder.  I then colored the images with watercolor markers and set them aside to dry.  While I was waiting for the images to dry, I assembled the second set of cards as shown.  Once the images were dry, they were cut out with their coordinating Confetti Cuts and attached to the pink card front.

Well, that wraps it up for me today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!

CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS: READY TO PARTY

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to the first day of our three day event, CRAZY FOR CHRISTMAS!

Over the next three days we are going to give you the ultimate in Christmas inspiration!  Today, we “READY TO PARTY!”  You’ll see all things party related using Reverse Confetti products.

A full list of Confetti Crew members participating today is toward the end of this post.  Be sure to stop by at each blog so you don’t miss a thing!

Today, I am sharing a simple HOT COCOA BAR.  I say “simple” because this really came together quite quickly.  I’ve seen much more elaborate set-ups, but I wanted to share something that was definitely “do-able.”

DSC06304

Included in this HOT COCOA BAR:

-Cocoa Mix

-Mugs with “Swizzle Sticks” (embellished paper straws)

-Chocolate Dipped Straws (easily homemade, but these are from Home Goods)

-Condiments: Mints, Cookies and Jumbo Marshmallows

Each of the labels is created from the new GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG Confetti Cuts die.  To embellish, I used the LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts die set, the new HANG UPS Confetti Cuts die set, LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set, CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set and the STITCHED FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set.  The lettering is all done with the new ALPHABETICAL Confetti Cuts stamp set.

Although the chocolate dipped straws are store bought, I did personalize them a little by adding the word “STIR” using Brilliance Graphite Black Pigment Ink…

The swizzle sticks are green and white paper straws that I picked up in the Michaels dollar section and are embellished with snowflakes from the LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts die set (heart from LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set)…

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Wednesday!

We have a great new WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS for you today!

What is WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS?…

It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project.  It’s us taking a closer look at how something is created, etc.  A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between. Today, Confetti Crew member, Sarah Gough, shares a fun a few sweet tags, along with a video!

Homemade baking – it’s the perfect gift, especially when packaged up with a gorgeous tag. The Easy as Pie stamp set and Confetti Cuts make giving your sweet treats, well, easy as pie! I’ve used them to create three tags, one for Christmas, one that would look excellent on a hostess gift and one that is just sweet for sweetness sake. I also discovered a fun little Confetti Cut combo, the Thanks Tag works perfectly with one of the very first Confetti Cuts sets ever released!

OCTOBER SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans!

Happy October and hooray for fall, although it hardly feels like it is upon us here in North Texas.  October pretty much marks the turn of the seasons…and you never know if you’re going to freeze or sweat on Halloween.

If you’ve been watching the MAKE IT WITH ME MONDAY scopes (via Periscope), you’ve heard me mention that we are having an October release.  We generally release every other month, but we have bumped up our Holiday Release to October 8th this year.  There are new stamps, new Confetti Cuts dies, new Quick Card Panels and MORE!  Sneak peeks start Monday, but you can WIN IT BEFORE YOU CAN BUY IT over on Facebook starting at 8am CST today!

WEEK IN REVERSE

Hello and TGIF, ‘Fetti Fans!

What an awesome week it has been here!  What’s happening here, you ask?  There’s the daily routine of shipping orders, checking emails and other little tasks that are all part of being a business.  I’m fortunate to do this from home with a couple of doggies at my feet most days.  We’ve been researching and looking at office space, but it looks like we are staying based at home for now.  I am grateful for the opportunity to work from home, to be available to my kids and to make my own hours (and there are lots and lots of odd hours in there!). I am grateful that I took this leap a few years ago and I get to share my creative passion with  you.  I am so very grateful for YOU, for your support and for you sharing your creativity with me.  Needless to say, I am grateful for A LOT and I am also VERY excited!  There is a lot happening behind the scenes here that I can’t reveal quite yet.  But those long, odd hours are being put to good use to bring new products and exciting events (both online and in person) to you!  Today, I have shelves being built in the Reverse Confetti office and soon those shelves will be packed with new goodies!  Stay tuned! XO-Jen

. . . . .

Now, let’s take a peek at what the Confetti Crew has been up to this week!
