Happy October and hooray for fall, although it hardly feels like it is upon us here in North Texas. October pretty much marks the turn of the seasons…and you never know if you’re going to freeze or sweat on Halloween.
If you’ve been watching the MAKE IT WITH ME MONDAY scopes (via Periscope), you’ve heard me mention that we are having an October release. We generally release every other month, but we have bumped up our Holiday Release to October 8th this year. There are new stamps, new Confetti Cuts dies, new Quick Card Panels and MORE! Sneak peeks start Monday, but you can WIN IT BEFORE YOU CAN BUY IT over on Facebook starting at 8am CST today!

Being that it’s the first of the month, it is time to introduce a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY…
Here are all the details you need to know…
Before I get to all the wonderful inspiration that the Confetti Crew came up with using this sketch, let’s go over the details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th. The SFYTT button is posted on the sidebar. Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win. This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps. Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of this month.

The Confetti Crew has been busy whipping up some fabulous inspirational cards!
Woot, woot! It is Friday, which means the weekend is upon us and I am sleeping in tomorrow (yea, it’s been a long week)…until a kid or dog needs something right then and there. I just hope it isn’t still dark when that happens!
Let’s take a peek at what the Confetti Crew was up to this week!
*sniff, sniff* Kathy is taking on an exclusive position and is retiring from the Crew. We will miss her dearly here at RC!
It’s an exciting day here in the del Muro household…it’s Meet the Teacher day at the kiddos’ school! The kids are buzzing with excitement and I may just have a heel kick, too! Here’s a fair warning of Back to School pics to be posted soon. *wink*
. . . . .
And, here on the Reverse Confetti blog it’s time for Confetti Camera!
A little bit about Confetti Camera…
In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round each of our designers will be coming up with a SET of something. You’ll see gift sets, card sets, pocket scrapping sets and much more this time around.
A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight this week is the super talented AMY KOLLING. I’m happy that I get to call her friend, too!
So for this round of Confetti Camera, we are showing off the theme “Set ’em Up!” Since my kids just started back to school last week, I know I’ll be needing small gifts for the teachers here and there. What a better time to whip up a set of mini cards for the kid’s teachers!
I started by die cutting a black cardstock “frame” using theShakers ‘N Frames Confetti Cuts. I love this set of dies and I probably won’t ever cut these 2 rounded squares apart simply because it keeps them evenly spaced for a perfect frame! I’ve added the frame to a 3×3 white top folding card and trimmed the corners to be rounded like the frame.
There are several sentiments included in the Class Act stamp set, so I stamped these in Versafine Onyx Black ink inside the frame. To finish these mini cards off, the apple was die cut using theClass Act Confetti Cuts with traditional primary colors and added to my card using foam adhesive. As a final detail, a 6mm Peridot sequin was added to the edge of the leaf.
Now, you can’t give a set of cards without coordinating envelopes, can you? Of course not! I’ve stamped each envelope with stamps from Class Act. For presentation, I’ve wrapped my set of 4 mini cards and envelopes with twine. Now, it’s all ready to add to a gift basket for a handmade touch!
It’s our third and final day of our COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI for our March 8th release! All of the new products…5 new stamp sets, 7 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new *limited edition* Spring Fling Quick Card Panels will be available in the store tonight at midnight EST.
Just a note…all of our releases will happen on the 8th of the month…just not every month. We will release new product every other month. We’ll still be hopping on the 8th, whether there is a release or not. Just remember, “Eight is Great!”

Today we are reveal 2 more stamp sets, along with coordinating Confetti Cuts die sets.
I think we are all ready for a little more sunshine in our lives about this time of year!! I know it hardly feels like spring here and I am turning lighter shades of pale with each passing day. If I can’t get my sunshine outside, I guess I’ll have to take it in paper and ink form!
Mix and match these words/sentiments for lots of great possibilities!
These stamps coordinate with the SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set that I revealed on Day One…
I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with this set and mixing and matching the sentiments and pairing them with new Confetti Cuts dies.
For this card I stamped the sentiment on the rounded rectangle from the CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts die set (previously released) and adhered it to the scalloped rectangle from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set (also previously released).
To embellish, I added the sun from the new SUN ‘N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts die set with a few yellow enamel dots and used both of the banners from the new DOUBLE BANNER GARLAND Confetti Cuts.
The words on the stamped image are colored in with Copics.
I told you that I didn’t think this die set would be leaving my desk anytime soon! *wink*
. . . . .
So far in this release we have birds and bunnies. It’s time to throw bees into the mix, too! Birds and bunnies and bees…OH MY!
And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…
My first project today using THE BUZZ stamp and Confetti Cuts die is this cute lil’ tag…
To create this, I cut out theTAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts die and then stamped the “You Are So Bee-You-Tiful” sentiment on it.
I then cut out another TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts tag from gray and white polka dot paper and used the bottom portion to layer. From there, I added a yellow strip cut with the new DOUBLE EDGE WONKY SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die.
The bees are stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then colored with Copics and then popped up on dimensional adhesive. The small bee is adhered to the tag at the end of his “trail” (one of 2 different ones included in the set).
. . . . .
My second project using this fun stamp and Confetti Cuts die set is this card that also features the new SPRING FLING QUICK CARD PANELS…
For this sweet bee, I layered the wings for added dimension. It’s hard to tell in the photo (thank you Mother Nature for terrible lighting), but I also did add a little bit of glitter to the wings, as well…
The beehive is also colored with Copics and adhered with dimensional adhesive.
There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing TONIGHT!
Check out the Confetti Crew & Friends’ posts.
Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!
