It’s been an amazing week here at the Reverse Confetti offices and I hope it has been for you, too! We’re kicking off the weekend with the new Minion movie and hopefully getting some time by the pool, too…especially since our last couple of poolside attempts have gone up in flames. I’m getting to that point that I am looking forward to the new school year starting…anyone else with me on this one?

It’s been a few Fridays since our last WEEK IN REVERSE, but we are back with it today. Check out what the (amazing!) Confetti Crew has been up to this week…
As you know, I don’t normally blog on the weekend unless something is happening over here at Reverse Confetti. Well, it’s the first of the month and that means it’s time for a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY!
This is a fun layered sketch with lots of chances for you to make it your own by flipping it, using Confetti Cuts dies and/or embellishing. Have fun with it!
. . . . .
Here are all the details you need to know…
Before I get to all the wonderful inspiration that the Confetti Crew came up with using this sketch, let’s go over the details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th. The SFYTT button is posted on the sidebar. Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win. This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps. Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of this month.

I’m pretty sure that Susan got left out of the “what to wear” conversation here (you’ll see what I mean in just a second)…which ones of these is not like the others? *wink*
For those of you local to North Texas (or within reasonable driving distance), come see us at the Scrapbook Expo in Grapevine today and tomorrow. Susan will be doing a make ‘n take there today and I will be doing one tomorrow. We hope to see you there!

It’s Friday (woot woot!) and time to take a peek back at what the super fabulous and incredibly talented Confetti Crew has been up to this week…
As I noted yesterday, we are working on a brand new website and I am thrilled to launch it later this weekend. Here’s how everything should go (note that times are approximate)…
8:30 pm tonight : We take the current site down. All traffic into our site will reach a landing page saying that we are under construction.
We test, retest, work out any bugs and make it sparkly (kinda, sorta) over the weekend.
By 10:00 pm Sunday we go back up with the new site in place. We will send out a newsletter either Sunday night or Monday morning announcing that the new site is live.
This new site is on the same platform and all customer information should remain intact, so there won’t be a need to re-register, etc.
We will be accepting orders until the site is taken offline. Orders made before 11am today will go out today. Monday is a mail holiday and shipping will resume on Tuesday.
If there are any questions, we may be reached at email@example.com
. . . . .
Thank you to all that hopped with us this week! The winner of the $15 gift certificate is…

Lieve, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to claim your prize.

Now, let’s take a look back at what the Confetti Crew has been up to this week! Many of the Confetti Crew posts were part of our Valentine ABC Hop that was mentioned above. In case you missed it, click HERE to go to the start of the hop.
I can’t believe it’s Thursday already…this week is zooming by at light speed. My calendar is full and so is my heart! It’s been a great week and I am looking forward to lots of stuff coming up…personally, and with Reverse Confetti.
One of those “things” coming up for Reverse Confetti is a BRAND NEW WEBSITE! We will going offline this weekend and, if all goes well, when we come back live it will be shiny and new. Stay tuned!

Today, it’s time for CONFETTI CAMERA!
In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from cards completed inside and out from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same “theme” until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.
The spotlight is on the incredibly sweet and talented, LEIGH PENNER, today…
Today I have a Valentine’s Day card to share.
I decided to make a window card using some of the new January Release products.
To start, I folded a piece of white cardstock in half.
I die cut the largest heart from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts from the red cardstock diecut and adhered it to the striped die cut. Then, I ran it through my die cutting machine again with the same heart die, to die cut the heart from the striped journaling card.
I adhered these to my white card base and with the card open, I, once again, ran it through with the large heart die. This created the window on my card and made sure the negative spaces from the hearts were all lined up.
I created a banner by trimming a strip of black cardstock to 1″x 6″ and die cutting the ends using just the bottom of the smaller tag from Tag Me Confetti Cuts.
I stamped the sentiment (from Puppy Love) in VersaMark and heat embossed it in white.
I scored the fold lines and adhered it to my card.
For the inside of my card, I diecut and stamped the boy puppy from Puppy Love (using the coordinating Puppy Love Confetti Cuts) and adhered him to my card, making sure he could be seen from the front through the window.
I paper-pieced his little bow tie and stamped the sentiment (also from Puppy Love).
