. . . . .

It’s also the final day to enter to win on Facebook.  Check out our page HERE and look for the graphic below.  Winners announced later today.

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST TODAY will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Today we are revealing 2 new stamp sets with coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I love both of these for Valentine’s Day, but know that they will be used over and over throughout the year.

The first set features a gorgeous rose silhouette and 3 hand scripted sentiments…

SOMETHING WONDERFUL

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

. . . . .

As you know, I am not much for messy techniques, but I do love clean, simple ones that create a lot of impact.  By stamping the rose image from SOMETHING WONDERFUL in white pigment ink and then stamping over it in STONE ink I was able to create a lot of depth on this card…

On the STONE cardstock base, I stamped the rose image 4 times and then stamped over those images in STONE ink.  I also stamped 2 more just like that and cut them out.  From there, I layered those cuts with cuts from MIDNIGHT cardstock and popped them over the sentiment.

I love this sentiment!  It’s uplifting and great for so many occasions, or just because.

One more detail shot…

. . . . .

There’s no doubt that this world needs more kindness in it.  What better way to spread a little kindness and cheer with our new set…

KINDNESS CARDS

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

This set is makes the perfect little lunchbox notes for kiddos and sweet notecards for friends and neighbors to let them know what they mean to you.  Also included is a thank you sentiment for sweet thank you notes.

I created this coordinating set so quickly and easily and I can’t wait to pass them out…

Each of the cards was cut from PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock with the rounded rectangle (3″ x 4″) from the KINDNESS CARDS Confetti Cuts.  I then stamped the “I think you’re,” “because” and dashed lines in LAGOON ink (I cannot seem to put this color away-swoon!).  From there, I stamped the diagonal lines from the ELEMENTAL STRIPES stamp set in FLAMINGO ink.

Each of the descriptive words is stamped in SUNSHINE ink and cut out and layered over a DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER cut from ICED AQUA cardstock. I then stamped the arrows in RUST and LIME GREEN inks, along with the heart in FLAMINGO ink.

You already know who you want to pass these out to, don’t you?  For me, it’s YOU!!  I wish I could make one for every ‘Fetti Fan out there!  These particular ones will probably make their way into my kiddos’ lunch boxes and into my son’s 2nd grade teacher’s mailbox.

Alright, it’s time for me to send you on your way to see more great projects made with the new goodies we are introducing today!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: Heart Spots

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY TWO of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!

If you missed yesterday’s post, you missed A LOT, so be sure to scroll down and check it out.  We’re just a couple days away from our January 8th release when 6 new stamp sets, 5 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6×6 paper pad will be available.  We have a BIG party (hop) planned for the 8th, too!

Here’s our schedule for the next few days…

. . . . .

You have a chance to win over on Facebook, too.  Just look for this graphic and instructions at the top of our feed…

. . . . .

We have a super duper cute critter set to introduce to you today…

HEART SPOTS

Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

Aren’t they the cutest!?!  I call them cheetahs, but the design team has had a discussion on whether they are cheetahs or leopards (jaguars even came up).  Call ’em what you want as long as you call them cute…and then color them and pop them on a card!

I stamped the images on our CLOUD WHITE cardstock, which is **GREAT** for watercoloring and then I used Zig Watercolor Brushes to color the images on this card…

I started with a card base measuring 3.75″ square and then topped it with a STONE cardstock panel.  From there, I layered a MIDNIGHT cardstock layer cut with the DROP COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts and the large square frame from the SCALLOPED SQUARES Confetti Cuts die set (in STONE).  The frame is popped up with dimensional adhesive.

I then added the images and the hearts (from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set) and the “i love us” sentiment.  I had a few extra twine bows on my desk from yesterday’s project and decided to go ahead and add one here, too.

. . . . .

That’s all for me today.  The Confetti Crew has a lot to share with you today and we’ll be back tomorrow for our third and final day of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI with even more reveals.  Don’t miss a thing!

Here’s our schedule for the next few days…

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed (beginning at 9am EST today)…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on November 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Well, ‘Fetti Fans, here it goes! Jeanne Jachna is sharing projects here for the sneak peek days.  I’ll be back for the hop! Now, you know the drill…sit back, enjoy that cuppa and all of the Confetti Creativity we have in store for you today.

First up is our brand new 6×6 paper pad…

CHEERFUL & KIND

This paper pad has all the right designs and colors for seasonal projects, but easily transitions into a pad that you can reach for all year long.

The Confetti Colors that are in this pad are: Midnight, Lime Green, Flamingo, Rose Red, Baby Blue, Mist and Stone

. . . . .

We have 3 great stamp set introductions for you today (and lotsa Confetti Cuts dies, too).  First up for the stamps is…

CHRISTMAS CHEER

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

Before we hop into the projects, I need to introduce another Confetti Cuts die set that is already gaining a lot of attention…

SCALLOPED SQUARES

. . . . .

Jeanne’s first project of the day features a combination of the new CHEERFUL & KIND 6×6 Paper Pad, CHRISTMAS CHEER stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts and the new SCALLOPED SQUARES Confetti Cuts…

These Santa’s Helpers will have you smiling all season long!

There’s lots of accessories (presents a stocking and a sack) and fun sentiments so you can personalize them for everyone on your NICE list!  Matching Confetti Cuts make them a breeze to cut and arrange as you like.

Do you love that Scallop Square frame?  Jeanne used the largest layer of a nested set of 3 dies.  The finished card is 4 ½” Square, and the die cut Scallop Square is 4 1/8”.

. . . . .

Next up in our introductions is a pair of frosty pals…

COOL FRIEND

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

We have a fabulous new 3.25″ x 4.5″ panel, too…

SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL

. . . . .

This next card pairs the new COOL FRIEND stamps and Confetti Cuts dies with the SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL and CHEERFUL & KIND 6×6 Paper Pad…

Layering the SCALLOP STRIPE PANEL with the pattern paper is a fun way to build detail and texture to your projects.  Note, the panel can be used in any direction, for even more possibilities.

The snowflake on this card come from the LET IT SNOW Confetti Cuts die set…

One more detail shot…

. . . . .

Here we are at the final introductions for the day and then I’m sending you on your way to see what the Confetti Crew has been up to using the new release goodies.  But first, a little story…

Last year, hubs and I were at Costco doing some Christmas shopping and I picked up a couple of gingerbread house kits.  We had relatives coming in for the holidays and I figured it would be a fun activity to do all together.  I wanted them to be a surprise, so I hid them away in my closet.  Our company came and we had a fabulous time.  They left and then January came and went and before long, I was getting out some stuff in our closet when I spot the 2 gingerbread house boxes sitting up there…in March.  Yes, for 3 months I totally forgot about them.  I didn’t want to bring them out then, so I figured we would do a Christmas in July thing.  Guess what?  I totally forgot about them again!  Granted, I have had A LOT on my plate this year with chemo, surgery, radiation and just life in general, but it’s a little embarrassing to admit that they are still on the top shelf of my closet.  Hopefully, I’ll remember to bring them out after Thanksgiving.  I think we’ll pass on eating them, though!

So why that story?  Because it was a bit of an inspiration for developing this new set…

SWEET HOLIDAY

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

Here is the first of 2 Cover Panels that we are releasing this month…

LARGE DIAMOND COVER PANEL

 . . . . .

Jeanne: I have lots of fond memories of decorating ginger bread houses with my kids. I think more candy made it into our mouths than onto the houses!  This stamp set is calorie free and super sweet!

The details on this confection are amazing!  This card has such a tempting scene…a gingerbread house surrounded by gum drop trees…

The chimney has a swirl of gems rising from it, and there is a peppermint walk way to the front door.

The Large Diamond Cover Panel makes for a beautiful background. Here it is layered over a watercolor background.  This Cover Panel is magical! You can see the cut out diamonds, X’s between the diamonds,  and ovals surrounding the diamonds!

 . . . . .

It’s time for us to send you on your way to see more fabulous creations using the November release products.  You may even catch a glimpse at another new Cover Panel, too!

HAPPY FALL-IDAYS: CHRISTMAS

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s our third and final day of this 2nd annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS celebration here at Reverse Confetti!  I’m sure you have enjoyed the Halloween and Thanksgiving projects that we have shared the last two days and we have a fun finale for you with Christmas today!

Fallidays_Christmas

. . . . .

Being that I did banners for days 1 & 2, I thought that I would keep with the same theme for today.

dsc_0307

The bases for this banner with cut from the TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts die set.

Each end is cut from kraft cardstock and then adorned with a bow created from the LAYERED BOW Confetti Cuts die set.  I topped it off with a button tied off with CHARCOAL Striped Twine.  On the bottom of the panel is a LIME GREEN strip cut with dots from the EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts die set.

dsc_0299

The next panel is a white TOPPED OFF TAG that is layered with a BRICK cardstock layer cut with the BIG STRIPES TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts die set. From there, I added the tree from the MERRY CHRISTMOOSE Confetti Cuts die set and two snowflakes cut from the SNOWFLAKE TRIO Confetti Cuts die set…

dsc_0308

The center banner is cut from CLOUD WHITE cardstock and is layered with a kraft panel that I cut with the JINGLE ALL THE WAY Confetti Cuts die.  I popped it with dimensional adhesive for added dimension.

HAPPY FALL-IDAYS: THANKSGIVING

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

Welcome to the 2nd day of the 2nd annual HAPPY FALL-IDAYS creative event!  Yesterday we shared a spooky and sweet Halloween projects and today we are sharing THANKSGIVING projects.  I think that you’ll find yourself reaching for your Reverse Confetti stash to create lots of these projects for yourself!

Falliday_Thanksgiving

. . . . .

I was so tickled with the way that my little Halloween banner turned out that I decided to stay on that track and create a THANKSGIVING one, too!

dsc_0288

For the bases, I used the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts die set cut from kraft (in my stash) and STONE cardstock.

Each of the ends has cuts from the WHEAT Confetti Cuts die set (from STONE cardstock).

dsc_0292

The pumpkin banners are cut from STONE cardstock then layered with the PUMPKIN PATCH Confetti Cuts die cut (using TANGERINE and AVOCADO cardstock)  The SO STRIPEY stamp set was still sitting on my desk, so I went ahead and inked it up with our TANGERINE ink for a tone on tone striped pumpkin.

dsc_0291

The center banner panel has an acorn from the HAPPY HARVEST stamp set (cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set).  The top of the acorn is cut from STONE cardstock and then textured by using the new POINTED OUT stencil and translucent embossing paste.  After the embossing paste was dry, I used a sponge and added a little bit of STONE ink.

One last shot…
