I have a couple of projects to share with you today and then I am going to send you on your way to see all the Confetti Creativity that the Crew has for you!

First up is a project using the new BITTY BANNERS stamps and Confetti Cuts.  I paired it with the (previously released) YOU ARE A STAR Confetti Cuts and SO STRIPEY stamps for a fun, cute and easy lil’ treat…

DSC_0795

I hot glued the stars onto paper straws that I cut down and added them into mini corrugated cups filled with coordinating Sixlets candies.  This would be such a great addition to a place setting for a birthday, graduation, wedding, etc.

Detail shots…

As a finishing touch, I added the gold sequins.

These can easily be personalized with just a switch of colors…so many possibilities!

With the end of the school year just around the corner, I find myself wanting to create for my kiddos’ teachers.  I absolutely love the new ALL APPLES stamps and Confetti Cuts dies and I know that I will be reaching for them a lot for upcoming Teacher Appreciation and end of the year projects.

I used the new INSTA-FRAME Confetti Cuts die directly on my card front and added the black cardstock panel that I stamped the dashed lines on (from the RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW stamp set).

I love this sentiment!

Ok, now I am sending you on your way to see more new release goodies in action.  Enjoy the hop and all the Confetti Creativity along the way!

I have a couple of projects to share with you today using some of the new products.

First up is a card that I created using the new LOVEY WORDS Confetti Cuts and LOVEY WORD COORDINATES stamp set.

BeMine

I paired these new products with the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set, the SO STRIPEY stamp set (white embossed backround) and the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set (heart).

This next project features the new HEART TAG TOPPERS paired with the new LABELED stamp set…

LoveisSweet

For this tag set, I cut 2 white cardstock tags and then I cut 2 more from pink cardstock and trimmed the pink so it matched up with the size of the HEART TAG TOPPERS Confetti Cuts.

The LABELED image is cut from the GIVE THANKS LABEL (previously released with the GIVE THANKS stamp set)…

LoveIsSweet1

To finish off these tags, I added a pink ribbon tied with the Charcoal TWINE and a button.  The gold flag ends are cut from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set.

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: 2 NEW STAMP SETS, PLUS MUCH MORE RC GOODNESS

Hello, and welcome to DAY ONE of sneak peeks, or as we like to say THE COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!

Last month, we released our 2015 Holiday Collection and this month is a little bit of a continuation of that release, less the emphasis on “holiday.”  These 2 new stamp sets and 4 new Confetti Cuts die sets are ones that you are going to find yourself reaching for during the holiday season and then time and time again.  Of course, we have a new set of QUICK CARD PANELS, and those are definitely filled with lots of Christmas cheer!

ReadyForConfetti

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion (starting at 9am EST today).  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

NewRelease

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on NOVEMBER 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Ok, ‘Fetti Fans, you know the drill…

Sit back, grab that cuppa and check out all the Confetti Creativity we have in store for you today with the new release goodies!

First, let’s introduce the new *limited edition* QUICK CARD PANELS

HOLLY JOLLY

QCP_ProductGraphic

. . . . .

QUICK CARD PANELS are limited edition premium heavyweight cardstock panels measuring 3.25″ x 4.5″.  Each package contains 2 of each 8 printed design.  They are designed for A2 card making, but you can easily use them on all of your paper crafting projects!  We will have a new set of QUICK CARD PANELS with each release. Grab them while you can, because once they’re gone, they’re gone!

You’ll see the new limited edition QUICK CARD PANELS used on a variety of projects from the Confetti Crew.  We can’t wait to see how you will use them on your creations!

One thing that you’ll notice with these QUICK CARD PANELS is that they are specifically designed to go with the tags that we are releasing this month.  Of course, they’re still perfect for card panels, too!

. . . . .

Next up on the introductions is a new tag set that I one of the Confetti Crew Design Team members described as “life changing!”  I don’t know how it will change your life, but it’s definitely changing how I package some of my Christmas gifts!

GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG

GiftCardHolderTagCCProductGraphic

This 5 piece Confetti Cuts die set features a large tag, a rectangle panel that cuts and leaves a debossed line on the negative, a gift card insert and 2 decorative banners that match up with the gift card insert.

. . . . .

As you know, it’s all about the details with me.  I created these super fun “hangers” to complement the tags being released this month.  It’s a simple design element that I think goes a long way…

HANG UPS

HangUpsCCProductGraphic

. . . . .

I have a couple of more introductions before I share my projects with you today.

This month, we are releasing 2 new stamp sets that are perfect for using on your holiday projects, but go well beyond these next couple of months.  They are perfect on tags (do you see a theme here?), as well as cards and all of your other paper crafting projects.  Without further adieu…

WITH LOVE

WithLoveProductGraphic

ALPHABETICAL

(seriously, how fun is this font!?!)

AlphabeticalProductGraphic

. . . . .

Ok, now I’m ready to share my projects with you (FINALLY!)…

This first project set features (well, everything above…) the new *limited edition* Holly Jolly QUICK CARD PANELS, GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG, HANG UPS Confetti Cuts die sets, as well as both WITH LOVE and ALPHABETICAL

DSC05989

The “Holly Jolly” QUICK CARD PANEL is cut from the new GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG Confetti Cuts.

I simply adhered it to a card that had stitched detailing and added the HOLLY Confetti Cuts that we released last month for a simple and fun embellishment…

DSC05993

One more detail shot…

DSC05992

The second part of this gift set is a candy jar that was so easy and inexpensive to put together.  I may just have to keep a few of these on hand for when I need a quick giftie for a friend, hostess or neighbor…

DSC05997

The jar is from a Japanese dollar store that is local to me (Daiso).  I then filled it with peppermints that I purchased in bulk.

The top of the jar has a few different elements adhered to it, making it more than just a dollar store jar.

First, I cut a small scalloped circle from kraft paper from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set.  I ran that through my paper crimper (yes, really, I still have one!). From there, I added a small wreath cut from the WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set.   While that was cute, it still needed a little something. I painted a wooden ball/bead white, added a rhinestone to the top (to cover the hole) and then added ribbon and a name tag.

As you can see, the name tag is stamped with letters from the new ALPHABETICAL stamp set and then “embellished” with the scalloped edge HANG UPS Confetti Cuts.  The re-inforcer is also from the HANG UPS Confetti Cuts set…

DSC05995

. . . . .

I’ve mentioned a couple of times that these are necessarily holiday products and I want to show you how I used them on non-holiday projects.

Here are a couple of birthday tags that I did with the GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG Confetti Cuts die set and WITH LOVE stamp set (stars are from the OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts die set)…

DSC05999

Here’s a closer peek at each…

DSC06016

HOW TO CREATE A GIFT CARD POCKET:

  1. Cut 2 tags

  2. From one of the tags, cut the gift card pocket slot (it’s the die that kind of looks like a smiley).

  3. Stamp and embellish as desired

  4. Adhere tag from step 2 to other tag…adhering ONLY the edges

The mini banners are meant to embellish the slot that the gift card slides into.  They match up perfectly to the curve, or you can layer them across, too!

Detail shot of the gift card slot…

DSC06005

As you can see, I used the flower re-inforcer from the new HANG UPS Confetti Cuts die set on the top hole of this tag.  I tied it off with orange ribbon and STRAWBERRY TWINE (love this stuff!!).

The other tag features a slightly more “boy” color scheme.  I layered the banners on this one to go all the way across the tag and added both the hanger and re-inforcer from the HANG UPS Confetti Cuts die set.  This one has MIDNIGHT BLUE TWINE pulled through the HANG UPS loop…

DSC06023

On both of these the word “celebrate” is stamped in orange and then I used different colors on the “happy birthday” sentiment.

Detail shots…

DSC06021

DSC06019

. . . . .

I have one more project to share with you today and then I am going to send you on your way to see all of the creations that the Confetti Crew and our ‘Fetti Friends have put together.

I’m switching back into holiday mode for this one…a very sweet and simple ornament created from clay and personalized with the ALPHABETICAL stamp set.

DSC06031

Of course, I had the idea to do this yesterday afternoon…eek.  I had to use my oven to expedite the drying time of the “air dry” clay.  I set it to 175* and checked on it every 20 minutes or so and it was done within a couple of hours (YAY!).

Here are the supplies used for this project (stamp set not shown)…

20151104

The clay was purchased at Michaels and the cookie cutter is just one from my stash.  I used a plastic straw to cut the ribbon hole.  The rolling pin was used to flatten the clay out (on top of wax paper).

Here I am cutting the clay after it was rolled out…

20151104_12_resized

I then “punched” the ribbon hole out with the plastic straw and stamped the words “Christmas 2015” using the ALPHABETICAL stamp set.

Sorry for the poor lighting on the pic below (I’m still getting used to the sun setting an hour earlier!).

Here is a  shot that shows a bit of the depth of the lettering, as well as the ribbon and button embellishment (tied off with NATURAL TWINE)…

DSC06050

This clay can be painted, etc. once it is dry.  I wanted a more “rustic” feel to this particular ornament, but I think that I will have my kids do some and then have them paint them.

. . . . .

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on NOVEMBER 8th!

. . . . .

So, I could not stop playing with all the goodies in this release!  One project led to another, which led to another which led to me almost losing some of my dies in the chaos on my desk, which led to…well, you know how it goes!

Here’s my first project that I have to share with you today…

DSC05878

This project uses a few different Reverse Confetti products.  Front and center, you can see the new Joy light bulb from the the MERRY & BRIGHT stamp set (cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts).  That is layered on top of a piece of the polka dot ‘Tis the Season QUICK CARD PANELS with the (previously released) STITCHED FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die.

DSC05887

Under the polka dot panel is the DOUBLE SCALLOP GARLAND Confetti Cuts layered on top of each other and adhered to the belly band that goes around the new FROSTED PILLOW BOX.

DSC05888

For the fringy end detail, I cut tissue paper with the (previously released) DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die and then used my sharp scissors to fringe them.  Finally, I added a few sequins and rhinestones for a little bling, bling!

Of course, I filled it with some candies, too…

DSC05889

 . . . . .

My next project today is one that I peeked on my scope yesterday.  Quick sidenote: if you have not gotten the Periscope app, I highly suggest downloading it on your mobile device (you can watch on your computer, too, I believe) and joining in all the fun we have there!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new WREATHS Confetti Cuts die set.  I promise you will use this well beyond the holiday season, as the leaves are made from hearts…perfect for Valentine’s and Spring projects, too.

I was just itching to cut it out of black and created something for Halloween…so, I did…

DSC05876

For this card, I cut 2 wreaths from black cardstock and layered them on top of each other.  In the center, I stamped the “bring on the” sentiment from the new WINTER WORDS COORDINATES stamp set and paired it with “candy” create from the LIGHTHEARTED LETTERS stamp set.

DSC05869

That darling bat is from the TOO CUTE TO SPOOK stamp set and is cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.  He sit on top of a button tied off with new CHARCOAL TWINE.

I added sequins around the wreath for a tiny bit of sparkle and then added the sentiment from TOO CUTE TO SPOOK atop a layer cut from the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER Confetti Cuts die…

DSC05867

. . . . .

This next project features both the new LAYERED SNOWFLAKE along with the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts dies…

DSC05898

This card is definitely not a traditional size.  I just cut a piece of paper down to what I wanted it to be and ran with it.  The finished size ended up being 7.5″ x 3.75″

The snowflakes are dual layered.  The bottom one is a bright pink and the top one is white with glitter.  I added a rhinestone in the center for a little more bling, too!

DSC05906

I love the subtle hint of bright color on this card!   You could do this in just about any color + white and it would turn out beautifully.  The word “peace,” cut from the WINTER WORDS Confetti Cuts die set is triple layered for added dimension.

One more detail shot…

DSC05903

. . . . .

One more lil’ card before I send you on your way!

Is this reindeer not just the cutest you’ve ever seen?  I’ve had a blast color him and Santa and that has definitely got me in the holiday spirit…I wonder if my family will notice if I go straight to Christmas decorating!

DSC05918

This is another card that is far from a traditional size…5.5″ x 2.25″!  At least this one is going to fit in one of my A2 envies!

I colored this guy up with my Copics and added the polka dot scarf and antler details from the JOLLY HOLIDAY stamp set and then cut him out with the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set.  He’s popped up on the “snow” (Stickles) with a pop dot and is being showered with felt snowflakes from the JOLLY HOLIDAY stamp set…

DSC05914

DSC05917

Over the top, I added the large tag from the TAG ME Confetti Cuts die set.  The sentiment is from the JOLLY HOLIDAY stamp set and the cute little heart is from the LAYERED SNOWFLAKE Confetti Cuts die set.  I tied it all together with CAPPUCCINO TWINE.  Can you see just how beautiful that twine is and why I had to bring it into the store!?!?

DSC05919

. . . . .

Before I send you off to the rest of the hop, I want to invite you to our online showcase event.  Be sure to mark your calendars and prepare to be inspired!
